Good morning ladies!!! Work is picking up right where it left off Friday - absolutely nuts!!!! On a good note - B is still at home sleeping. Currently he ate 12 hours ago and has been sleeping for about 11. He ate, then got a bath, and then quite literally passed out: I'm completely jealous of the little dude!!
You know how the hospital gives you anything they opened during your stay? I have a huge pack of the puppy pee pad things they used to make my pp pad and put on the bed. I was going to throw them out because I didn't know what to use them for. Lightbulb moment: naked butt time for dd! Now I'm not adding towels to my laundry.
Morning! Work was pretty busy this past week, so hoping it's a little calmer this week. I put flowers in my planters for the first time since we've been in our house (this will be our 4th summer). My mom helped me since I had no idea what I was doing, but it was pretty fun! Now I need to hope I don't kill them.....
I think my toddler is ready for potty training, but I am not ready to deal with it. He's peed on the potty every day for the last 3 days and he keeps asking to go, won't let his bum touch anything when he poops, etc. I need to get pull ups or something since his cloth diapers are a PITA to get on/off for potty trips.
M is on her 2nd nap of the day after waking up early with a poop. So I have no idea what to expect from the rest of the day. Hoping to get my house back in order. My toddler tornado did a number on it since we were stuck inside bc of rain all day yesterday.
This weekend was super busy so I barely checked in here. Overall it was good - we stayed overnight in our new vacation house for the first time. But in our haste to get out the door we switched cars we were bringing (DH finally got his new truck!) and forgot Bs travel crib ::major facepalm::. Needless to say, that night no one slept well lol.
Now I'm just pumping away in my office. Today is a slow work day, so that's helpful. I may even try to run an errand during lunch.
Also - anyone feeling like their LO is going through a major growth spurt? Over the past few days B wants to eat non-stop. He's not fussy or anything, just chugging down bottles and smacking my boobs at the end of a feeding like
In one they were looking at each other and smiling. My ovaries were all "boom! Third baby now! Ra ra ra!"
Noooooo lolz.
yeah. Then I remembered how much I like sleep. Dd only got up twice last night! Maybe we're finally on the tail end of this dropping the swaddle nonsense.

We had a growth scan at the pedi this morning. E weights 15 7oz and no major head growth so we don't need get a scan done of her head. Woo hoo. She definitely has stranger danger now.
So she also peed out her diaper again this morning. I think we need overnight diapers. I may pick some up today on my way home from work. E can also go over to regular formula now not the preemie stuff. So this week is starting out well.
peaseblossom55 way to go E! It must feel great to not have another appointment for that. I've never used them but I just remembered reading about diaper booster pads to insert into diapers for overnight issues awhile ago on another thread. Maybe that's an option if regular overnight diapers don't work/you want to use up the size you have.
I have a legit fluid filled blister on my nipple. M hasn't been latching as well on this side and coupled with the distracted nursing, I've been in some pain. Looked down today and realized there's an actual blister around one quarter of my nipple. It doesn't look like a clogged duct blister/bleb. Guess I'll pump this side and avoid feeding from it for a couple days? I don't even know.

Hi ladies! Sorry for popping in once Friday and then disappearing again. I'm still grumbling over changing forums but I miss you all so I'll do my best to jump in again.
Regarding the bra talk, I guess I have a confession. I've worn a bra nonstop (except for showers of course) since I was about 6 months pregnant. I have the most comfortable nursing bras that I don't think I'll ever go back to an underwire bra.
Otherwise not much is new here. Work is keeping me somewhat busy and awake, so that's good. I made Noah's first NICU follow up appointment today, which is happening in July. I'm really curious how he's going to do and what they'll go over with him! He's still a sweet happy baby most of the time, but is killing us at night. He's still up 2-4 times per night and I'm still up pumping too. I think at the end of June I'm just going to have to cut the MOTN pumping session. I need more sleep!

This weekend was busier than expected! Well, not Saturday. It was so nice to not work a Saturday for the first time in a few weeks! The BioPark was a fun time yesterday as was our meandering around Old Town. Apparently, there was some festival thing going on so it was extra busy. Then, H and I went shooting to narrow down my handgun options and ended up purchasing one. Thank god his last paycheck was much bigger than expected because I was NOT expecting to make a big purchase so soon.
I used my SILs 360 ergo this weekend while walking all around P-town. I'm trying hard not to drop the $$$ on buying one for myself. I have the regular ergo, but B loves facing out. He was totally happy all day long.

We started with a regular Ergo for DS and ended up upgrading to the 360 when he was 6 months. I didn't get a ton of use out of it with him but I've gotten my money's worth with M. She is so much happier being worn facing out now!
