I would say Matthew is officially day trained. Apparently we just needed to let him be ready. Because in 4 days he's had 1 accident. And that was on Friday. Yesterday and today he hasn't even needed prompting. He just stops what he's doing and goes to the potty. Even at Jurassic quest today! I was amazed.

C called me upstairs because his legs were itchy and the poor kid had hives all over his inner thighs. We've been fighting eczema bad this year but this is the worst I've seen it. Poor guy. I put on hydrocortisone lotion as I always do but also gave him Benadryl and ibuprofen. I'm guessing swimming is irritating it more. Cleared right up in Disney so clearly we need Togo back.

I've been doing crappy at doing BBM regularly. Since I do 2 1hr works I usually count those as makeup. I also hate taking a shower (washing hair) daily and I get so sweaty in those 20min. But today I did 25min on my exercise bike that I have had for 2yrs. That brings me up the 3 uses total.

What a day! The birthday party was for one of the older kids in the class behind Col. Apparently another girl in their class had her party there a few hours earlier. I couldn't believe how well a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds were doing on so much activity and little to no nap. Colin did great, he even skipped his usual evening grumpiness. Chase is finally getting through until naptime without melting down. Kid took losing the morning nap HARD, haha. Hope you start feeling better soon, kim22. Sorry about your loss, lahdeedah. It sounds like you made the right decision, tallb. It stinks being responsible sometimes.

kim22 I am sorry. Feeling unwell with a new baby is truly the worst. Between exhaustion, breastfeeding, still recovering yourself...it's really hard. Hugs Lady. tallb I am sure it was disappointing, but I hope you will eventually feel a little relieved that you made the right choice for your family. We were in a bidding war for a house at the top of our price range and we ended up dropping out for reasons similar to yours. I drive past that house now and breathe a sigh of relief we did not pay that much for something that wasn't really the right fit in the long run. Hoping the right thing is just around the corner for you!

I’m so sorry kim22, I want this to be over for you. How frustrating. FX you get a hold of your Dr tomorrow nice and early cagoldi and it’s a simple solution so you can start to feel better.

Z just woke up crying a little bit ago and mh went in there but she wouldn’t calm down. I was in the next room trying to figure out what the problem was then she let out a huge cry. I ran in there and apparently she had a stuffed animal in her bed that had a looped tag on it. She had her thumb in the loop and had it all wound up so her thumb lost circulation. It must have been that way for a few hours and the pain woke her up. The loud scream was when mh noticed it and got her thumb out. She’s ok but man was that scary. I’m so glad she woke up and alerted us. That could have been really bad. I need to recheck everything that’s in her room. The stuffed animal was a hello kitty that a coworker brought back from Japan when i was pregnant with Z. It probably does not adhere to the same US safety standards. Regardless, i need to pay better attention to what she plays with/sleeps with.

tallb I’m sorry you didn’t get to put in an offer, but I think you made the right decision. When we were house shopping there was so much back and forth between what we could afford on paper and what we could afford and keep our same level of comfort/lifestyle. It was a super hard concept for me, but having bought a house that was in the middle of our budget I realize how much I would have resented being house poor.

snoopmommymom poor girl. I hope she went back to sleep quickly. I had a similar situation when E was a newborn and had my hair wrapped around a toe. I swear I checked his toes every day after that for the next year. kim22 I how you get some relief.

We haven't had a nap with Josie since right around two, and I can definitely tell that Charlie is slowing down. So jealous of those of you who still get a nap every day

He can party it up all day without a rest.

Once in a blue moon he’ll fall asleep in the car or while watching a movie but it’s pretty rare. He still naps most days at school but it’s been 8 or 9 months since we had naps anywhere else.

I slept with her last night. Her thumb is a normal color and she’s moving it but there seems to be a bump where the tag was wrapped on her thumb. I’ll take a closer look later but she really didn’t want me touching it last night or this morning.
