Since this board has been quiet for awhile, let’s get to know each other. And, go!

Hello! Identical twin girls due in July/August. I’m a 40/60 mix of excited and terrified.

Hi! I haven't posted in multiples since my twins were infants. I have twin daughters who are fraternal. They are 6 and a half and seriously growing too fast. I also have a son who turned 3 in October. He's my little cheese face. I work weekends as an L&D nurse and stay home with the kids during the week. Here are my little munchkins.

I have 3.5 year old boy girl twins. I’m incapable of posting pictures so you’ll just have to take my word for it that they’re super cute! 😉

I missed the other part of the question. I’m at home with my kids during the week and work a shift every/every other weekend as a high risk OB nurse. It’s the same job I had (full time) before kids and we couldn’t figure out childcare that we could afford with both our schedules (H worked insane hours then) so I had to resign when they were born. I had really missed it and about 18 months ago they brought back the program I work under now and I am so happy that they did!

Hi! I'm new to MoM with 3 month old girls. I had a di/di pregnancy and haven't had them DNA tested for whether they're identical or not. I'm pretty sure they're fraternal. They have a big sister and a big brother, so we're loud, fun, and busy. I just started back to work extremely part-time and will go back full-time over the summer.

My boys, through adoption, will be 4 in a couple months. Interestingly enough, they have very different looks but each could be a twin to their older brothers. I joke that their parents only could make two kinds of kids. 2 look like her and 3 look like him. Their brothers are being adopted also and will be my nephews. I work full time in HR to pay the bills, but run a non profit to give my life purpose. I work to support/provide services for foster and adoptive parents in my community.

fosterlove, they're so cute! I definitely think my girls look more like their big siblings than each other.

Hi! I'm so glad to see this board being revived. I've missed it so much.
I have b/g twins who will be turning 5 in February and a younger daughter who is 2.5 years old. I work part-time approx 28 hours a week in the afternoons and I'm home with my youngest in the mornings while the older two are in preschool.

Hi! I have 6.5 year old b/g twins and a 4 year old. Everyone went to daycare/preschool when they were younger and now they are in first grade. I work FT in the engineering field.

Hi! I am great at lurking and bad at posting, but I'll keep trying! I have 5 month old identical twin boys, and a 4 year old boy. My H and I both work full time, but his schedule is not a typical M-F, 9-5 kind of job, and it is not very easy flexible, so a lot of childcare falls to me.
I am tired. But the newbies are cute so that helps.

Hi!
I have a 20 month old son and three month old identical boys. My boys came at 27 weeks 5 days after attempts to stop spontaneous preterm labor failed. They spent 66 and 77 days in the NICU. We have been mostly fortunate and the boys seems relatively healthy despite their prematurity. However we have an army of specialists and appointments that have me running by everywhere for them.
I used to work at the local local library. Now I’m a stay at home mom. 🙂

Hello everyone! Such cute kiddos around these parts! I’m currently 8 weeks pregnant with fraternal twins. These little babes are thanks to clomid and an IUI. So happy that this board has been resurrected because I am going to need ALL the advice! Looking forward to getting to know you all I am a lawyer (also in the area of family and child protection, lastkiss). These will be our first take home babies.

Hi! I have 14 month old fraternal B/G twins and I'm also semi-active in the FB group. I work FT in Corporate Communications and MH has the world's shittiest work schedule, so our week's are just a huge balancing act of trying to be good parents and making sure everyone is well cared for. Like you, pascal, a lot of that falls to me. Is my resentment showing? I would love for this board to be more active because I find it easier than Fb!

I need to find some zen. Haha. I try to remind myself of the things my H does that I never do, and I never have to think about. Like taking care of the yard, a good amount of cleaning (he is cleaner than me), taxes, the grocery shopping. And when I really need a change of pace I try to make it clear that "hey I'd like to go to the grocery store with no kids" or "please take them all somewhere/anywhere else so I can nap." And sometimes with the kids I try and give some really focused attention to them so that later on when I let the tv/bouncy chair parent a bit I can somewhat do my own thing without feeling guilty about not being attentive (so trying to carve out "me time" even while I'm the only one parenting). Lol,thats the best I've got. Sometimes it works.

Glad to see this board is active again and nice to meet everyone! I have a 3 yr old DS1 and almost 6 month old b/g twins who keep everyone on their toes (including their big brother)! I'm a professor at a medical school and my husband is a physician. DS1 goes to daycare 3 days per week, 1 day with grandma, and 1 day at home (the day I work from home). The twins also have a nanny who comes to our home 4 days a week, while I stay with them on my work from home day. It's hectic but has been working well for us. Pdq

Hi! I’m mom to an almost 3 yr old girl and fraternal 2 month old boys. DH and I are two time graduates of IVF, and it’s crazy to feel like we’re swamped with kids after having had the possibility of not having any (biological) children. We’re grateful, and completely exhausted.

Hi!! I’m so happy to see this board up and running again! I have 20 month old twins (b/g), plus a 3 and 5 year old. My husband and I both work full time, so we have a nanny/preschool for the kids. Here we all are running errands at Home Depot.
