I have a husband funny for you. DS dribbles and my boob sprays milk at his face so in the morning he had some dried milk on his face. DH looks at him and asks if the white stuff on his face is normal. Lol. Um, it is milk so yes.

peachesncream, she has so much hair! So precious! Here’s my 38 week bump! Next appt is on Saturday morning. I’ll be a couple days shy of 39 weeks so I’m not sure if we’ll talk induction that day or not. I hope we get to see some new babies soon!

I’m posting and running but baby girl is here!!!! Hannah Lee 8lb4oz 21in... came out in 2 pushes!!!! We’re both doing well. I’ll uodate later with pics and story

I was up from 2-8 with strong BH/somewhat real contractions, had H stay home from work but then it all fizzled. Whomp whomp! I thought it was happening.
Had a dr appt today and was 2cms, 80% and -1 station so maybe my lack of sleep wasn’t for nothing.
I’m so tired. About to nap. Hoping things get moving tonight or tomorrow!

Congratulations amesie! Well... this afternoon is my first time really alone with both boys. Until now DH and/or my mom were here. I broke down in tears once mom left. 10 days of having her here was definitely enough but she really helped me transition back to working from home. DS1 was really sad when she left although he didn't cry. I'm expecting that after nap, though. Now...off to pump before DS2 wakes up. |

DD has been home for a week already, it is hard to believe! She's doing really well, although we had to switch bottles because she was so spilly.
DS and I both got sick at the end of last week, but we seem to be on the mend. He caught croup and I got a nasty cold. DH did all of the feeds on Sunday night so that I could sleep and it made a world of difference.

I'm still here. Still pregnant. 40+2. Had some cramping last night and I was really optimistic that today I'd be calling H to come home, but contractions fizzled out when I got out of bed and started my day. I'm so over this and had a bit of a breakdown today. I just feel like I'm going to be pregnant forever and the waiting is inconveniencing everyone around me. I hate hate hate not knowing. I was happy to be team green until recently but now its just one more thing I don't know - plus the day and time, the midwife, how the birth will go, how long the labor will be, how the adjustment home will be, how DD will do, and on and on.
Plus my dog ate his own poop and then puked it out on the floor and it was literally warm turds when I cleaned it up. Barf.
Plus I got a bill for this stupid healthcare claim I've been fighting with (I am appealing with my health insurance, but the ENT decided to still send me a bill for $4500 because he's an asshole with no patience).
I'm super crabby.
Sorry to be a downer.

benandjerrys I am so sorry for all of that! Vent away! Do you have an absolute latest date that your practice will let you go? If so I would just focus on that. I know focusing on my induction date helped me a lot mentally. If you feel comfortable and it would help make your day better you totally deserve a glass of wine tonight. Or at least something chocolate. Hugs!!

I know DD will be sad & I will probably bawl when she leaves and after she leaves. As usual when she visits. After DD was born I sobbed so hard when they left for the airport. H came home & got a call from my mom 30 min later that her flight had been cancelled haha. Soooo I got to say goodbye to her again the next morning. |
