2 pounds under my pre-pregnancy weight! That is great!!! You should be so proud! I really am; I worked so hard. I'm still about 7-10 pounds from goal but I know things are going to slow down, especially now that I'm back to work so time to meal prep and work out is in short supply.

There are some major weight losses in here! Congrats everyone!
I have been tracking everything I eat for 149 days in the Lose it app and it's given me good insight to what i need to do, it's clear I need to stop taking in so many carbs. So yesterday I started using some keto recipes with the goal of reducing my carb intake by 50%. Yesterday was day 1 and it went well, staying within my carb goal.

I’m starting a 10 cleanse today (advocare) I did it this spring and it went well and i really need a reset from all the drinking that’s been happening.
After a weekend of drinking and eating crap, the scale was up..... 7lbs (!?!) from Friday. I don’t even know how that’s possible but I am soooo bloated so hopefully that’ll go back down ASAP. Yikes.
Planning on spin class tomorrow and Wednesday too.

mwhip I used to like vodka with diet cherry 7-Up. LAte, but this is one of my favorite drinks. Or just flavored vodka with sprite zero.

My rant came from buying shorts for our next Disney trip. I can’t live the sundress life on rides. I may sound like I am 104 years old, but I don't care. I just bought 2 skorts from Kohls for running around with the kids. They are 8000 times more comfy than shorts for me. But have the coverage of shorts and pockets.

I’m doing okay weight wise. My goal was not to loose weight during vacation, but to be stable, which for now I am. I brought my scales with me, which is helping me to stay on the band wagon.

Has anyone used Shirataki noodles in place of pasta? Thoughts? They are BEYOND nasty. Not worth it, just eat s small portion of pasta or use some veggie spirals, IMO.

Has anyone used Shirataki noodles in place of pasta? Thoughts? I like them, but it's definitely a texture issue for some people. I think they taste good with shrimp and some kind of crunchier vegetable like bokchoi or a snow pea, and soy or peanut based sauce.

vino, I've been working on lowering my carb intake as well. I've been doing a lot of cauliflower rice, zucchini "noodles", cauliflower pizza crust, ect. Let me know any other tricks you have (other than obviously just replacing carbs with veggies/protein/ect.

I’ve stopped all high sugar fruit and bread. So, for example for lunches I usually have a few large lettuce leafs, slice of thick cut deli turkey, half avacado, sautéed mushrooms and rolled like a wrap. The calories and carbs are super low. For dinners I am eating what my family eats but I’ll measure out exact amounts, 1/4 cup rice etc. I’ll see how much i keep losing doing this and if I have to cut carbs out completely I’ll know where to cut.

Great lunch idea! Trying that for sure. Have you tried cauliflower rice? I love it as a substitute for rice. I just microwave it, so easy. MH likes it too, but I'll make him regular rice/pasta at times because he is skinny and needs the calories to keep full while still staying skinny....not bitter at all.
