My husband is currently in Corona? Is this southern Cali? Anyway, he is not having fun. Complains about the traffic. And the people. But he is there for work, so different circumstances. I'm laughing. I don't envy people from out of state who try to drive here. If I see they have plates from somewhere other than NV or CA, I try to be extra patient with them. I am curious what he doesn't like about the people though. I suspect being from the Midwest, he thinks we aren't very friendly. Well, he is talking to a certain group. He's just pissed about this trip anyway, because it could easily have been avoided. Giving up his weekend to drive the entire time, to get on the job site, thinking there are 4 trucks he would be working on, finding out the customer is using a local company to do the repairs on 2 of those trucks, he's just angry. But he did go eat last night at Hardee's, so that's part of the problem, and the lady in front of him ordered FRESH, EXTRA CRISPY french fries. She reminded him of this at the end of the transaction. Plus he was up at 3:30 so he could be on site by 6. It's just everything combined.

What happened with his new job mwhip ? Or is this it? Something was found in his background check that resulted in them pulling the job offer. The background check paperwork we received doesn't confirm WHAT it was that caused the offer to be pulled. It wasn't his drug screen, that came back clean. We *think* it was a previous job that reported his employment had been terminated due to company policy violation. Which is accurate information. But he was frustrated that the other company didn't even reach out to him to see what had happened. I really think he was too vocal in his requirements to come work there, then the discrepancy in his pay amount, add the employment termination, I think they didn't want to offer him the job. My HR lady said if she was really interested in someone and that came back on their background, she would inquire as to what happened, then make a decision. He hasn't heard from the people he was talking to, only their legal team from the corporate office, that because of the background check, employment would not be offered. I don't think he would have been happy there...with the unorganized stuff we have seen, plus big corporate, he doesn't really fit that type of environment. It was a blow to his ego, but like I told him, he wasn't looking for a job, they reached out to him, based off a referral. If he does want to look for a job, then lets update his resume and start looking.

Southern California is a fun place to visit. Lots of fun! My husband is currently in Corona? Is this southern Cali? Anyway, he is not having fun. Complains about the traffic. And the people. But he is there for work, so different circumstances. Corona is where the church was that I went to the wedding at last year. I thought people were extra nice but I'm from NJ.
