gustierx, I totally get the STM thing. I keep forgetting how far along I am and yesterday MH said "you must be close to the end of your first trimester, right?" Yes, dude, like a month ago.

1. How far are you now? 19.5w
2. How big is baby? 9oz at U/S
3. Team? GREEN!
4. Symptoms: equilibrium challenges
5. What and when is your next appointment? Just had a great AS U/S! Next one is end of the month regular OB
6. Questions/Concerns/Comments/Rants? U/S showed no abnormal placental growth so we're relieved (placenta can sometimes grow though multiple c-section scars). But baby is on the other horn of my uterus than normal so MFM decided to increase my monitoring. So I'll be getting an U/S every month to check cervical length and the baby's growth (having a bicornuate uterus can lead preterm labor and growth restrictions for baby).
7. QOTW: What are you least looking forward to? Whether pregnancy, delivery, parenting, or just life in general related.
I'm excited to meet the baby, know the sex and decide on a name - I'm ready now! I love ordering an embroidered Christmas stocking for the baby once we have a name. And I'm already excited to find out everything for baby #4. Our family will be complete then.
LOL read this wrong. I hate the epidural thing getting put in my spine. And I hate hate hate the three days at the hospital. I never get more than 3 hours of sleep a day, have very little help from H(for appropriate reasons-he's a good guy), I get lonely, breastfeeding is HARD, and recovery is of course not enjoyable. For #2 I deliberately went without painkillers starting day 2 in the hopes of getting released early. Home is 10000x better.

1. How far are you now? 18w1d
2. How big is baby? A slingshot
3. Team? Blue
4. Symptoms: RLP, forgetfulness
5. What and when is your next appointment? 2/5 for A/S, 2/8 OB appt
6. Questions/Concerns/Comments/Rants? Starting to freak out thinking about being close to 20 weeks & the amount of things that need to be done
7. QOTW: What are you least looking forward to? Whether pregnancy, delivery, parenting, or just life in general related. Lack of sleep, parenting 2 kids, but mostly how all of this will affect DS1

gustierx, I totally get the STM thing. I keep forgetting how far along I am and yesterday MH said "you must be close to the end of your first trimester, right?" Yes, dude, like a month ago. Christmas Eve I quizzed MH how many weeks I was because I knew everyone would be asking. I'm pretty sure I was 17- his responses varied from 13 to 24. That's quite the range... 😂

itsmemeg have you tried anything for the digestive issues? I was constipated from dehydration / throwing up a dozen times a day, and a stool softener has helped. Being hydrated is the real goal, of course. Also over the counter pepcid (famotidine) helps my reflux.

1. How far are you now? 21w 2. How big is baby? Giant gummy bear 3. Team? Pink 4. Symptoms: STILL nauseous if I forget my meds. Hip pain, back pain. 5. What and when is your next appointment? Normal MW appointment around 24w. I need to call to schedule that. 6. Questions/Concerns/Comments/Rants? I miss not limping around. The heating pad does help at least though. 7. QOTW: What are you least looking forward to? Whether pregnancy, delivery, parenting, or just life in general related. NB sleep. Deciding whether or not I want to attempt to BF this baby. If I knew it would work out I would do that in a second but I can’t struggle like I did with DD. 8. Show off your bump! Please ignore the shirtless toddler. I have no idea where her shirt went.

1. How far are you now? - 18+4
2. How big is baby? - slingshot
3. Team? - blue!
4. Symptoms: N/V, heartburn, RLP, sore back if I don’t sleep with the pregnancy pillow, fetal movement!
5. What and when is your next appointment? - 29Jan with OB for 20 week appt. I don’t know if it’s still my A/S since I had the ultrasound with the MFM, but that’s how it was scheduled before.
6. Questions/Concerns/Comments/Rants? - I am so so relieved and thankful baby has a spine and a brain and his internal organs inside his body.
7. QOTW: What are you least looking forward to? Whether pregnancy, delivery, parenting, or just life in general related. - general life: packing & moving in the next couple months. Baby related: the post birth hormonal roller coaster
8. Show off your bump! ((poof))

1. How far are you now? 23 weeks 5 days
2. How big is baby? Grapefruit
3. Team? Green
4. Symptoms: My stomach is definitely starting to feel heavier if that makes sense
5. What and when is your next appointment? So we just drove/moved cross country this week so I get to meet with my new OB on 1/31. I wasn't technically due to go in yet since I saw my old OB 1/11 but this was when the new office wanted to squeeze me in... thankfully my old office gave my glucose drink to do once I got out because they only require you to drink it at home and then go have labs drawn an hour later where as the new office would have made me do a 2 hour test with 3 blood draws and fasting!
6. Questions/Concerns/Comments/Rants? Excited to be moving close to family but it will be a crazy few months since my husband will fly back to our old home until it sells and it will be me, the toddler and 2 dogs living with my parents and their 2 dogs for a bit (altho crazy thankful for my parents extra help!)
7. QOTW: What are you least looking forward to? Whether pregnancy, delivery, parenting, or just life in general related. Hoping for a safe, quick delivery but at least getting my epidural this time - first delivery I went from 4cm to baby out in about 30 minutes and there wasn't time.... makes me a little nervous this time around especially with a new dr.

1. How far are you now? 21 weeks 2. How big is baby? Least weasel (?) 3. Team? Just found out, blue! 4. Symptoms: Same old, same old, I think heartburn will be starting soon. 5. What and when is your next appointment? Midwife appt on 1/22 6. Questions/Concerns/Comments/Rants? I still feel so large and I think the stretch marks are coming, too. 7. QOTW: What are you least looking forward to? Whether pregnancy, delivery, parenting, or just life in general related. Sleep deprivation for sure, I had a really hard time with DD at first, and I'm hoping this time is at least a little easier. 8. Show off your bump!

I have to say, of all of the symptoms I have, the absolute worst is the congestion. I am so so miserable right now. None of the pills that are safe to take work, steaming doesn't work, nasal sprays don't touch it, I finally got something to come out with my netipot but my sinuses filled right back up again. I'm so tired of trying to sleep propped up on a gazillion pillows just so I can not feel like I'm drowning :-( I have year round allergies always. When I was pregnant last time Flonase was a no go so I was always congested. I used Breathe Right strips at night. This time Flonase is safe; I found the study that came out the year DS was born with hundreds of women participating. My OB said it was fine but I just wanted to double check to make sure he knew what I was talking about.

Being hydrated is the real goal, of course. Also over the counter pepcid (famotidine) helps my reflux. Yes I’m on Prilosec for my reflux and I’ve been taking gas-x and Colace here and there for the digestive issues. I think I’m drinking enough water and don’t seem dehydrated. I’m at such a loss. I’ve cut back on gluten and dairy thinking maybe that was the culprit. But nothing is helping.

1. How far are you now? 22w 2. How big is baby? papaya 3. Team? Pink 4. Symptoms: weird pain right under my ribcage on the right side. worse when i'm sitting down. not sure if it's heartburn (never had it before) or a baby part sticking up there. 5. What and when is your next appointment? Feb 5th for 24week appointment 6. Questions/Concerns/Comments/Rants? my shower invites went out (i have to fly for my shower) so gifts have started arriving at the house... squee!! 7. QOTW: What are you least looking forward to? Whether pregnancy, delivery, parenting, or just life in general related. terrified about delivery, I'm terrified about having a tiny human to keep alive, and I'm nervous about breastfeeding, especially since I know my mom (who will be staying w/ us an indetermined amount of time) isn't super supportive. 8. Show off your bump! sorry if this is huge! Attachment Deleted

1. How far are you now? 19 weeks 6 days
2. How big is baby? A pint of ice cream
3. Team? Just found yesterday - we’re having a girl!
4. Symptoms: RLP and tiredness. Why aren’t afternoon naps at work acceptable?
5. What and when is your next appointment? Had my a/s yesterday with the mfm. See OB next Tuesday.
6. Questions/Concerns/Comments/Rants? I want some energy back so I can clean and organize. My husband is trying to keep the house together but I feel like I’m living in a pit right now.
7. QOTW: What are you least looking forward to? I am not looking forward to the pain and stress of the first few weeks after this baby comes. Last time I had a 2nd degree tear and thrombosed hemorrhoids and I could barely move that first week after. I’m hoping for a better outcome this time.

I've read this thread like every day and keep forgetting to post.
1. How far are you now? 21w and 3d
2. How big is baby? A least weasel
3. Team? Girl
4. Symptoms: Constipation and impatience. Wait, maybe that second one isn't actually a symptom of pregnancy and just a symptom of having a toddler.
5. What and when is your next appointment? Feb 15th with midwife and follow up ultrasound
6. Questions/Concerns/Comments/Rants? I had my a/s last week and found out it's a girl. She was also not very cooperative so I have a follow up so the tech can get the rest of the pics she needs. Also, they'll be looking to see if my placenta moves. I still have a complete placenta previa so still no sex which is becoming frustrating. But I know it's best for baby.
7. QOTW: What are you least looking forward to? Whether pregnancy, delivery, parenting, or just life in general related.
Ugh. I think just parenting two instead of one. As far as delivery wise, I loved my epidural but hated getting it in. So I'm dreading that. And DH is no help cause he hates big needles and almost passed out last time.
8. Show off your bump! No pic this week.
