Yes!! The wet brush is a life saver, mwhip and mskatiep! flamingo, I never leave Josie hair down without some kind of adornment. It looks unfinished to me.

We've been trimming Chase's hair regularly since he was about 8 months old. He totally got my hair, which my Mom used to describe as "cotton candy hair". It's fine and fluffy and unruly. He looks like a wreck if he goes more than a month without a cut. Though it would make excellent hockey hair, if he ends up going in that direction.
Thank goodness my hair has gradually calmed down.

I use the wet brush on H too. Her hair really doesn’t get too tangly until it gets long so that’s nice. She’s been into headbands lately, I need to get some traditional plastic ones because I think they would work better with her current cut.

I'm down 32lb from this summer and a trainer at my gym asked me if I have an "after picture" cause they already have a before one. They have a wall with weight loss successes at the gym and post on their facebook page. I'm debating if I want to give them a picture, if I even have one. I feel like it'll make me feel awkward.

I think the thread title needs to change from whining Wednesday to Winning Wednesday! While bored at home sick today, I decided to call the phone company to cancel the home phone because we never use it. I was going to keep our DSL though. She lowered it from $120/month to $40/month with no change in service.
I mentioned that I was laid off for a few months and that was why I was trying to lower it. She gave me a 1 time courtesy credit of $120 for being a loyal customer.
Then because they are partnered with directv and we have been customers for so long with them also, they can give us a “new customer” deal. Which will upgrade our equipment at no cost, our monthly fee will go from $110/month to $35/month AND we will be getting a $200 visa gift card. As part of their promotional deal.
I told her directv has never given us a deal like that before and she said that through them they can usually get better deals than going direct with directv.
Both services combined (Phone/internet and DTV) will be going from about $230/month to $75/month. I feel accomplished today.

Awesome job wineallthetime! Wahoo on getting a good bargain lfig. I cleaned out my digital life today--between yesterday and today when through all of my photos back to 2015 and got rid of the bad ones. Now I just need to keep up with it. I'm going to try and do it every quarter so it's not so daunting.

Wet brush has been a game changer here too. And n used to always want to wear her hair down but it was already in her face. There was one incident of lice a while back and I told her she had to wear it up so bugs don’t get in her hair and now she mostly wants to it up or braided.

One thing I noticed going back through photos is how much the girls' hair has changed. Cass still has fine hair but it used to be flyaway ducky fur, as I used to call it. At one point it was so long and way down her back. Maddie used to have gorgeous curls. Now they both have hair around shoulder length. I like it because it's much easier to manage in terms of few tangles. I have no talent with hair though. I can only do a basic braid in terms of braiding. So it's mostly some variation of a pony tail.

Vacation is going great. The weather has been better than we thought, until tonight. Now it’s cooled off and tmrw is supposed to be pretty cool and windy. At least we got 3 good days of Beach and pool time. We head home Friday morning.
We’ve eaten dinner out every night but realized we bought way too much food for the house so we’re having frozen pizza tonight and will probably eat in the rest of the time as well.

At p/u Cadence's teacher was telling me what a great listener she is and that she asks throughout the day if she's doing good. This is not my child. My child sings and looks the other direction when you try to tell her to do something. Her teacher told me to just put her on speed dial. Careful, I might take you up on that!

Hey hey! I'm still catching up on today. I gave myself a social break today so I could work on some art work. Now that I'm not working as much, I have to give myself projects so that I don't go crazy or become one with the couch. I also walked/ran a brisk mile on the treadmill and you would think I was 80 years with all the aches and pains I am currently experiencing.
I have to say I loved revisiting everyone in the pictures thread! So glad that's still a thing.

Holy Cow wineallthetime 32 lbs is amazing! Go you...and hey, flaunt it if you got it! Re: Hair. Ever since I cut Evie's hair shorter, it's been so much easier to keep up. We pull it back in a tiny pony on top and call it a day. No more rat's nest of tangles in the morning. She and her older brother got my H's hair and complexion, but Theo got mine. I'm curious what new baby girl will get. If it's my hair, we are going to be in for lots of upkeep.

The flight was good and we got out of the airport super quick. C is going to school tomorrow but Dh and I are both off. We are going back Friday because we are nuts and both have a lot to catch up on, but I'm so happy we have one more day and it's alone. C is psyched to go to school and tell all of his friends about Disney. inthekittyHis official favorite part was "the ride that lifts you up real real high and then drops you". I'm not surprised that the Tower of Terror was his favorite.

I met her in Chicago in 2004 for a reading. She came highly recommended by my cousin. Then i spoke to her in 2014 then again yesterday. Her prices have steadily climbed though. 😬

I try to remember to do this every six months or so. They usually all have “special offers” for customers but you have to call and ask for them.
