I agree with poppy that it is nice to know who's been through this before. But I think that we'll learn that about each other along the way regardless! Usually everyone intros with where they are in terms of growing their families I'm fine either way if the questions stays or goes. I assume eventually there will be some kind of "roster"? Perhaps the info could be included in there instead?!

ftwr I was going to ask if anyone else felt like they were going through a nesting phase already. I don't think I was like that at all with my first but I can't stop organizing and cleaning lately. Yeah I'm going crazy inside but trying to keep everything in check. I need to make a checklist and then just start marking things off. Everything I did before DD arrived was done solely because I had to lol

So...anyone else freak out when their symptoms subside temporarily? I know I should enjoy the break in nausea and be productive...but! Of course! I just worry that something is wrong.

I freaked out about that for sure. Any time I didn't feel like complete and total shit, I worried. Hang in there Have you had ups and downs with your symptoms so far? Maybe you'll start to see a trend of certain times a day you'll feel better vs feeling lousy.

I am sitting here basically feeling myself up because my boobs are no longer sore and feel back to normal. I’m also barely nauseous. I started antibiotics yesterday which has only added to my anxiety and I’ve convinced myself it’s the reason for my nausea. So stressful- I’m right there with you.

I also think I'm causing some of my nausea by worrying so much. When I went to my OB on Monday after some bleeding, she asked if I felt pregnant and had nausea, so now if I don't I automatically get scared something isn't right.

It's so hard to not worry when symptoms ease up, but positive anecdote - I barely had much in the way of those standard first tri symptoms with DS and he's been a happy healthy kid right from the start!!

I had to leave work a few hours ago due to what seems to have been my first migraine ever. Complete with aura, nausea, and feeling like my head was splitting in 2. Thankfully it seems to be mostly gone after some Tylenol and laying down for a few hours, so now I'm finishing my work day from home. If that could never happen again...

Nymeria,I also had a migraine and all the lovely symptoms yesterday afternoon that stuck around through the night into this morning. My stomach has been queasy since. Munching on candied ginger is the only thing keeping my stomach from flipping right now.

I remember with my first I had a not terrible first trip, but def had enough of the "classic" symptoms to reassure me. Then like week 16 or 17 hit and I felt amazing. Like so good. And I hadn't felt the baby move yet (obviously normal) but I freaked and convinced myself I wasn't pregnant anymore because I felt *too* good.
Pregnancy can be such a mindfuck!

I haven't been nauseous (yet) this go around and because I was for so long last time it messes with me. Not that I'm complaining about not getting sick every day...but... at least it was a reassurance 🙈

Yes, all the time! It's a flip flop between feeling terrible b/c of thee morning sickness and then worrying when I feel okay. If we could just fast forward to September that would be great!

My skin was awful the entire time with DS. We’ll see if it’s the same this time around. The giant zit currently on my chin isn’t making me too optimistic.

Also laughing because the Ovia app said to use oil free facial wash and such but like, I have terribly dry skin, especially in winter. Ain't no way, Ovia.
I use a face oil, serum, and moisturizer. They're non comedogenic so I'm not changing anything up.
I should use my dry skin peel and sheet mask this morning.

So...anyone else freak out when their symptoms subside temporarily? I know I should enjoy the break in nausea and be productive...but! Of course! I just worry that something is wrong. Yup. Today is like the first day in a week that I haven't felt sick after eating so of course I'm panicking. Forget the fact that I didn't have any morning sickness with my first and hardly any with the second. It's still a mind fuck every single time

Why can I not stop eating?!?!
Also, I already am feeling the round ligament pain. I'm only 5.5 weeks.
Grumble. Grumble.
