tallb, I know when C took winter swim lessons he was so tired after and would cough after. Maybe from going from wet to cold weather? Hopefully it's nothing!!! I hate all that scary stuff we have to worry about.

nam2013, I'm sorry have you guys done any sleep training? I can't remember. I will say that L wasn't the best sleeper because we gave in easily to just get her to sleep (not saying you do this). Around Thanksgiving we cut out bottles/milk at night and committed to doing some CIO. I was amazed at how much it helped, especially the bottles/milk. I don't think she knew how to go to sleep/sooth without it.

A girl from HS just messaged me on FB asking me if I could help her go vegetarian.
So random.

We stole Peach's idea and took the kids bowling. They loved it! L did run half way down the lane though and MH had to run out and get her, oops. J did once and busted his butt and that was when he decided he was done lol. Freaked him out how slick it was.

Making some chicken soup. I found a recipe with mushrooms and kale and I'm going to toss some tortellini into it. Cadence has already said she doesn't want it, but I'll give her chicken, carrots and pasta out of it. The word soup gets an immediate no from her every time. Does she get to put crackers in it or dip bread? That usually gets a yes here. But we also give very little broth Yes. She still doesn't eat it.

Maybe a bit more. C accidentally stepped onto the lane last time he went and fell, he was so sad!

@twllb did he have any sort of incident in the pool? (Going under/choking up water) if not you don’t have to worry about dry drowning. A lot of new outlets got people really worked up about dry drowning the last few summers, but you have to actually aspirate water into you lungs, and you would know if something like that had happened. Hopefully that eases your worries a bit!!!

Hi! We went to IHOP for breakfast and then IKEA to look around. LO went to SmalLand and he loved it so we will drop him off there whenever we go to IKEA again.

Hi! I came home from my parents today so S could go to day care tomorrow but I just got a call that they are closed tomorrow because of snow ...whomp whomp. I was really looking forward to a day to myself tomorrow. Oh well, hopefully I can take her out to play in it!

I'm really ticked we are going to miss out on snow again. Everyone around us will get around 2-3 in and we will get nothing

I read an article too saying swallowing vs. aspirating is a lot different and the news lately hasn't been clear about the differences. I think he's fine, just pooped.

Tuesday morning it's supposed to be -25 wind chill. I'm not ready for that

We had a few warm days last week (40's and 50's). Those were divine.

First day was rough. Too much traveling and trying to do the park post travel was not magical. Today was great though even though it's been very cold. That is until C barfed at dinner. He seems fine now but he projectile vomited all over the Mayan ruins restaurant 😷. Hopefully it was a one off. He's caught a second wind and is still awake past 10pm.

I'm embarrassed to say this since it's my third baby but earlier I thought my water broke? It was a lot of fluid and I had literally just stood up from going pee.
But it's been a couple hours and I haven't had any contractions so I must have just managed to urinate all over myself.

As long as you’re not still seeing fluid that you can’t cut off like you can pee I think your ok?

It's better to be safe then sorry. I can watch the kids if you need me to.

cagoldi dr google tells me you should lay down for half an hour. If it is amniotic fluid it will pool in the vagina and you’ll have a fish when you stand up.

But it's been a couple hours and I haven't had any contractions so I must have just managed to urinate all over myself. I had that happen with S and it ended up just being discharge. I know that because I went in and got checked. It is possible you also didn’t get all your pee out. When you go to the bathroom lean forward and it helps to empty the bladder.
