peaseblossom55 I agree with meeggaannw I would try going up a size. Ffsc Q has been sttn (before the craziness of the last week and a half) we just make sure to change him right before bedtime and as soon as he wakes. We have been getting a good 9-10 hours with pampers.

S I have a diaper question for you all. E has begun sleeping through the night here and there once she leaked through her diaper this morning she almost did again. Do I use the next size up? Wake her to change her diaper (please say no). Switch brands? We are using pampers right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I would try sizing up. Never wake a sleeping baby for a diaper change! With dd we started doing an overnight diaper around 6 months. We did baby dry (pampers) and went a size up from her daytime diaper. Last time I was at target I even saw a swaddlers overnight option, have not tried them but they might be worth looking into. Thanks! Glad you agree not to wake a sleeping baby. I remember ds having some really full diapers for a week or two and then waking up less wet eventually.

I slept in till 7:30 and it was glorious. I mean it was sleeping in with a side of getting up at 5 to hand the toddler off to Grandpop, let the dog out, nurse the baby, and then sleep till 7:30 but still. I can't remember the last time I got up when the clock started with a 7.

Allo! Had a great day yesterday: checked out a street fair, then stopped by the park on our way home. Convinced DH to come shopping for things for the house (we bought it last August and the walls are still bare lol), then we had an early movie night. Got the girls down to bed and then DS and I walked over to the relay for life for a yummy snack. A good day! Unfortunately DD2 was up 4 farkin' times last night soooo not a great start to today. DS has baseball this morning and a scouting event this afternoon and DH said he'd handle those so I can relax.

W was up at 6 this morning and would not shut up. I was hoping a full belly would put him back to sleep. Nope. Talked so loud. I finally gave up on sleeping just in time for him to fall asleep.

Morning. +whatever to sizing up peaseblossom55. Dh and I split MOTN duties so I got a nice stretch of sleep. So sad that I consider four straight hours of sleep to be a "nice stretch". Jeez. Anyways, SIL and BIL are coming over to visit. I plan on doing some laundry and running away to target, all alone. I've never been so excited.

DD1 is having a total meltdown because her muffin is gone. She is definitely my child.

Listening to grandparents read books wrong in the other room... so painful. DH was reading to DS last week and I was cringing. He just doesn't have good flow to his reading. And clearly he hasn't been listening to me read these books 800 times or he'd also have them memorized....

We're all up by 715 again. N would not go to bed before 10n even though she was tired. She was up since 4
Put her in the sleeveless sleep sack for the first time. I think that was part of the problem with getting her down, but she slept through!

Or I do special things on certain pages like an extra loud boom, tickling ds, or we bob our heads back and forth. Ds gets grumpy when they don't occur when someone else is reading.

Current situation: smushed in the third row with the double stroller and dog while my children nap peacefully in the spacious second row.
I can't feel my right leg.

My toddlers pants got wet at the playground and all I had was a pair of the baby's so I stuffed her in them. She was wearing rain boots so it looked extra ridiculous.

Naturally the ONE GAME I miss is the game where DS kicked ass! He scored two runs for his team, including one in the bottom of the 9th...bases loaded, 2 outs and tie game. He hits it FAR and we get the run and the win! He's been working so hard (truthfully this definitely hasn't come naturally for him so it's been a bit of a struggle!) and he's BEAMING right now! I'm so happy for him but bummed I missed it!

Hey y'all! So I know I've been barely around the group and just posting randomly, but I found y'all!! It's me, geauxtigers. Apparently a name really close to that one was already taken so I didn't want any confusion so I just picked a totally different name. Hope that's not equally confusing??
So to catch y'all up on me and B. He's doing great! His personality is laid back like his big sister (thank heavens!!), he's a pretty good sleeper usually (although we have our moments for sure), and he LOVED the beach!!
It's so funny to me the things I'll do with him that I wouldn't even consider doing with DD when she was his age - such as Mardi Gras parade at 4 weeks, a beach trip at 4 months - second kid syndrome I suppose lol!
Work for me has been absolutely insane. So crazy busy. I'm the director of a rehab department and also the speech therapist of that department. Crazy long days and working from home when I actually do get home have made me a bit insane. I keep having talks with myself about slowing down and not working so much. I'm really burning at both ends trying to do my best there and my best at home and it's honestly killing me. Yesterday was a really tough day for me as I was just physically and emotionally exhausted.
So so so so happy to see that aprilz and jrun are both pregnant. Many prayers for them!!!
So - hey y'all - how's everyone doing??

Oh, so the beach trip. It was amazing as the beach is my happy place - but man was it exhausting with two kids!!! But watching my DD enjoy herself made my heart explode!! B didn't know where he was but he loved the waves - knocked him out for hours just listening to them!!

Now if they could only figure out that sleeping in part...
