1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? 2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? 3. 1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? Team find out - impatience
2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? No new car for us
3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? My cousin really wants to throw a sprinkle, not sure if the protocol requires a registry but I will create one on amazon so that I at least get the registry certificate and it will be my list of things I still plan to get for baby#2. I don’t need much though.
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? We will be a family of four and we are good with this. Before we got married we said we’d have 4.....hahahaha hahahaha no

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? We will find out. We did with our first, too. We're not big surprise people.
2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? Nope. I drive a CRV and Husband drives a Jetta. If we go anywhere on the weekend with the family we take the CRV. Plenty of room for two car seats.
3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? No. We didn't have one for our first kid either. We don't know that many people and didn't have a shower or anything like that.
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? I'm firm about stopping at two kids. Husband would like 3, but realizes that we are not young and financially it would be tough so it isn't happening.

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? Team Find Out. I'm too much of a planner.
2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? I'm keeping my CRV but we just upgraded my H's Pilot as our old one was approaching over 100k miles. We do most of our traveling in H's vehicle so it made the most sense to upgrade his.
3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? No, I don't think so. We moved to a new city a little over two years ago and I don't have any family here and I don't think any of my friends would think to throw me a sprinkle/sip and see or anything like that.
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? A family of 4 is it for us. For a while we were thinking we were fine with the 3 of us until we realized we truly wanted 4.

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? Finding out! I like to plan and prepare.
2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? We'll probably stick with our current cars for the time being. I drive a CX5 and DH drives a VW GTI. We had talked about possibly trading one in for a car with a 3rd row since we have 2 dogs and any travel to see family would be kind of tight, but I think we'll manage with the cars we have now.
3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? Yes, we will do a registry. Any must have items beyond the obvious?
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? 2 kids is our ideal. We aren't totally opposed to the idea of 3, but I think we'll likely stop at 2.

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? I’m still deciding. I found out the first 2 times and I’d kind of like a surprise since this is our last one. I don’t know if I’ll last though. 2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? Maybe an SUV with 3rd row seating. I’m not getting a minivan. 3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? Nope, 3rd baby. Unless it’s a boy, we have everything we’ll need. If it’s a boy, we’ll just need some more outfits. 4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? 5 I guess. We are done after this, though H has suggested wanting one more after. I can’t even fathom that we will have 3 kids.

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? Undecided. We'll talk about it after our first ultrasound. We've been team green for the previous three so I'm leaning that way. However, this is our last so the sooner I can start getting rid of clothes we don't need, the better.
2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? We have a minivan that will fit everyone. My husband just got a new to him sedan. He commutes 100 miles a day so he's not interested in driving a vehicle that will fit everyone. We'll make it work.
3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? Nope. I haven't made a registry since the first. Pretty much all we need are new bottle nipples, pacifiers, and bottle brushes.
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? We knew we wanted at least two kids. Three wasn't a hard sell. But we are done at four. No question.

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? Team Green. we didn't find out with our previous 2. it's fun to have it be a surprise. with #3 and 2 boys already, we both felt like it would be a little disappointing to find out it was another boy (don't get me wrong, we love our boys, just we are probably not having any more kids so we both have to give up the idea of having a daughter). so we figured it was better to have it be a surprise again.2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? We really do need a new car. I drive a 12-year-old sedan and DH has a Subaru Forester, so it would be tough to fit 3 across in each unless we buy all new, narrow car seats. initially i wanted a minivan, but now i'm thinking it would be nice to have AWD, so we may end up leaning toward an SUV. it would likely be a honda or toyota. any recommendations welcome.3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? I will set one up just to get the completion discount on Amazon, but likely all we will need is diapers and wipes. If we do have a girl, she is going to be wearing boy clothes- sorry, kid.4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? same sugarkissed. DH would totally go for a 4th, i think we're kinda crazy to even have the 3. sasam, you don't need as much as you think-- don't get overwhelmed! a pack-n-play with an infant insert is handy to have if your house is 2 floors- it's good for napping and diaper changes. an inexpensive bouncy seat can also be useful. put diapers (all sizes) and wipes (soooo many wipes) on there! your LO will likely be in size 4 the longest, and size 5 for a good bit, too. and the car seat- hopefully parents or in-laws will spring for that for you. burp cloths or small blankets are useful when feeding. a BFing pillow is nice if you plan to BF (also earth mama nipple cream). a carrier is also nice to have-- if you have a high-needs/fussy baby it can be a lifesaver. plus the infant car seat gets heavy to carry after LO is just a couple of months old. both my kids were summer babies and they basically lived in short-sleeved onesies for the first 3 months. they outgrow things so fast, so don't go overboard on clothes. sorry, that was kind of a ramble.

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision?
I want to be team green. I think it would be fun/special to be surprised. Idk if I will be able to stick to it though (MH definitely doesn't believe I will). Any tips on staying strong would be welcomed. Lol
2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at?
We actually bought a Ford Explorer last April in anticipation of a third child. I drove a Ford fiesta previously and it was cramped with 2 kids. Dodge Durango and Honda Pilot were also on my list. MH has 2 trucks and drives my fiesta to work. If we go places as a family we take my explorer.
3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions?
If I do it will just be for myself so I can get the coupons they offer. Lol
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size?
I want 4 kids. When MH and I were first dating he said 2. This will be number 3 and I have him 90% talked into a 4th. He came from a really large, poor family. I've had to remind him several times that 4 kids is very different from 11 and that we are much better off than his parents were.
Idk. If he was really against the 4th I'd reconsider, but I know he is only against it when he gets in his feels about his childhood.

notmoose, once you get past the anatomy scan, it's pretty easy not to be tempted for the remainder of the pregnancy. the hardest thing for me is if you have the NIPT done, they have it right there on the paper in front of them and ask you if you want to know-- that was the hardest, to know they're looking right at it and to tell them no! the anatomy scan is easy compared to that. but yeah, it's fun to have your H announce "it's a boy/girl!" when the baby is born. and it's fun for your kids (and you guys) to guess what they think it will be. DS1, DH, and I were all sure that DS2 was a girl.

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? We already found out we're having a girl. The only thing factoring into our decision is that I'm impatient. I would have been happy either way, but knowing makes it more real for me! 2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? Probably not. However, my husband has talked a couple times about how he wouldn't mind having a minivan for himself. We'll see! 3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? This is my second, and we still have all of my toddler's essentials so probably not. 4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? Both my husband and I were and still are pretty happy with the thought of two kiddos. Read more: howeverithappened.proboards.com/thread/10804/gtky-1-3#ixzz539ECQAXA

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? We were team green, but then I realized I'm way too Type A to not find out lol. With the first, I really wanted a boy, but had a girl. Now, I don't care. A girl would be cool because sisters and I wouldn't have to buy new clothes, but I really want to use the boy name I have picked out haha.
2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? We bought a new car in anticipation of this last year when we were TTC. It's a 2017 nissan pathfinder and so roomy.
3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? Meh. Probably not, i saved everything from E. Except bottle nipples, those will be replaced obviously. Maybe some more cloth diapers if E doesn't potty train in the next 6 months.
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? I'm good with 2 kids and so is H. I maaaay be tempted for a third several years down the road, but I think 2 is good for us.

sasam, I can't speak highly enough of the Bob stroller. It was parked in our living room for DD's first year+, and we used it as a place to load and unload her from the infant car seat. It also is just SOOOOOO easy to push compared to any other stroller I've used. It's still easy to push with a 42 lb toddler in there, and I was fine pushing my friends double with her 2 year old and my 3.5 year old.

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? Finding out, no question. I'm doing NIPT, and it feels like cheating to find out soon, rather than waiting for the AS. We might do some cheesy reveal (just for H and I, not a party or anything) just to make it more exciting. We also haven't told DD (3.5) and are waiting for NIPT results to come back normal first, so I think we can tell her all at the same time.
2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? Nope. We have a CRV and an Insight (hybrid) and the most we've talked about is getting roof racks and a luggage pod thing for the CRV, because we often do the 7 hour trek to my parents with kiddo(s) and dog, plus all our junk.
3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? I will for the Amazon completion discount. I doubt anyone will do a sprinkle or anything, my friends prefer to just take each other out for pedicures before baby arrives!
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? 2 kids was our plan, and it's not changing. The only potential wrench would have been twins during round 2, but, for good or for bad, one of the sacs was empty, so I don't need to worry about quitting my job or getting a bigger car!

1.Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? Finding out for sure. I am a planner and I want a name picked and the nursery somewhat decorated. If baby's a girl she's having blue grey walls though because I'm not painting 😂
2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? I have a kia rio and MH has a kia soul. When we pay off his car in early 2021 I'd like to get a soul just because it's higher off the ground, or something slightly bigger. We won't buy before that though because I'd like to only have one car payment at a time.
3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? I will be. I'm sure my aunt will throw my cousin and I shower at some point. She's due July 10. I'm sure I'll have questions but I can't think of any just now.
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? MH is set on OAD for financial reasons and he doesn't think he'll want another. I told him to keep an open mind lol. I would like two. But we will have to wait until our first is 3ish to TFAS because 2 in daycare isn't sustainable for us. This LO will be able to start kindergarten right after turning 5.

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? Definitely team finding out. I'm too much of a planner and can be impatient. 2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? I have been wanting a SUV for some time and just bought a Hyundai Tucson. I love it, it's the perfect size for me. I'm only 5'2 so some of the SUV's were a bit too big for me. I was driving a Toyota Camry before that. 3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? I created one on Amazon for the completion discount. I have mostly everything, so I will most likely need clothes (if it's a girl), maybe a new stroller, and a convertible seat for when he or she grow out of the infant seat. 4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? DH is 39 and I'm 38 so at this stage of our lives we are both good with 2.

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? Definitely finding out - the more info we can get, the sooner, the better for planning.
2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? Gah, YES - this is probably our biggest need to figure out before baby #3 comes. Our Jeep Patriot is not quite big enough for 3 across until DD is good in a booster (not ready for that yet!). Would love to have a separate thread for suggestions, pro/cons etc. from everyone who already has an SUV large enough for 3. Definitely not getting a minivan.
3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? No
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? Well, we were one-and-done for awhile, but then decided we'd be ok with 2, and here we are with the 3rd on the way. I'll be turning 42 shortly before this one's born, so it definitely will be our last.

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision?
Finding out - I just can't wait even though I love surprises. I'll be happy either way, but I just need to know.
2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at?
I currently have an Outback, but my husband has a crappy Honda that will need to be replaced in the next 2-3 years. I really want a tricked out mini-van but my H will need convincing. He'll be taking the Outback when we eventually get a new car, so it's really more my choice since I'll be driving it.
3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions?
Doubtful. I had an Amazon and Babies R Us registry for our first, but I don't think I'll have any shower/sprinkle for this one.
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size?
I've always wanted two. My H wants three - it's something I'm open to pending finances.

1. Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision? I am undecided. I have wanted to be team green the last two pregnancies but my husband has talked me into finding out each time...we will see what happens at the ultrasound.
2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? We probably should be but we got carseats that fit 3 across instead. It seemed like the way cheaper option.
3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? Not sure I will leaning toward not we have most everything we need. Although I think I will have to get a double stroller now. I had avoided it successfully so far.
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? i always thought 4 kids was good because thats what I grew up with. My husband grew up in a 2 kid household so he thought that was a good number. So 3 kids seems like a good compromise.

And just in the last month or so, DD (3.5) has started walking when we do our standard 1-2 mile walks around our neighborhood.

Are you team Finding Out or Team Green? What factored into your decision?
Finding out, I am impatient and a planner. I'm so ready to get rid of whatever half of my hoard we don't need. I can barely stand waiting 4 more weeks
2. Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at?
We got a Toyota Sienna after DD was born because my car was 10 years old, we were thinking we might have a 3rd, and we lived so far from family it was nice to fit everyone in one car when they came to visit. I will happily try and convert anyone to be a minivan lover. We looked at SUVs too, but I love my van. MH drives an 09 Yaris that is great for him, we take the van everywhere together. My van will be paid off this year and we'll start saving for whenever he NEEDS a replacement
3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions?
Yes for the coupons
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size?
We're definitely done after 3. MH was an only child and wanted at least 2, I wanted 3. We waffled on the 3rd for a bit, but our family didn't feel quite complete

I think it would be a fun surprise but I could never wait. My dh desperately needs a new car. He's got a two door car. we want a larger suv. I don't plan to. This will be baby #2. I may be interested in three but want to wait until after baby is born and decide later. DH would prefer 2.

Anyone in the market for a new car now that you're adding a baby to the family? What are you looking at? We just got a new minivan for my husband to drive and I will need to replace my SUV. I have a CX5 but it doesn't fit 3 across so I need something bigger. I haven't really started shopping because we were replacing my husband's tiny hatchback first. He got the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica and it is really nice (but a minivan). I will stick to the SUV segment for my car. 3. Are you creating a registry for this baby? FTMs, any registry questions? Nope
4. What is your ideal family size? What is your SO's ideal family size? 3 should do it, I can't imagine more to be honest and I was pretty on the fence about #3. My husband is 1 of 3 and was more sure of the feasibility than I was.
