Rough bedtime. At one point she asked for a hug, then ripped my hair out. Brat.

Paging flamingo. My cousin and his wife are building a 3600sq ft forever home. It is a two story on a acre property, brand new and they are the contractors so they have to pick everything. The paint colour for the home that they’ve picked is CL- 3233W Capricorn. She is asking me about trim colour and what do I think. So, naturally I’ll bring this to you before I answer 😉 This blog www.kylieminteriors.ca/the-4-best-white-paint-colours-sherwin-williams/ talks about the 4 best whites for trim. She said she always wants it to look white so she is leaning towards the relective white. Thoughts? Anything to think of when choosing a trim colour?

vino The last one I see is Alabaster, but I’d also go with the reflective white.

Chase has been crying for almost 2 hours now. DH and Colin are fortunately sleeping through it but I am doing all I can not to freak out. He's almost 2, I can't believe we're still dealing with this at least a couple times a week. We're just lucky I guess that Colin wasn't like this, because there probably wouldn't have BEEN a Chase!

Joanna Gaines is pregnant!
I woke up at 2 (it’s currently 3) and couldn’t fall back to sleep. My throat is killing me and I think I might try going to the doctor tomorrow for a strep test.

I'm currently "watching" an educational video about prenatal testing. I'm at the same place as last time and didn't have to do all these things before but I guess I need to now or they will reschedule my appointment. Oh and it randomly asks if I want to stop and take notes, if it's on that page for too long it shuts down...so I have to somewhat pay attention. This one is an hour long and I'm only 10 minutes in. How weird! My Dr just asked me if I wanted the testing. When I said no they asked if I wanted more information or had any questions about it. I said no again and we moved on.

I heard this on the radio this morning! I don't know why, but I thought they already had 5 kids. I hope you're feeling better!

I already did the chromosome blood test so I don't even know why it was required. It was very odd.

She said she always wants it to look white so she is leaning towards the relective white. Thoughts? Anything to think of when choosing a trim colour? This is too funny, b/c I just was reading some of that blogger's posts about green paint colors yesterday. In my experience, some people really know paint, and some people are terrible at it, but I think this Kylie M has a good eye. Ok, so looking at their paint (to make sure I'm looking at the right thing it is a gray shade, correct?) I feel like Reflective White would be very very bright. The Capricorn seems to have some warmth to it--it's hard b/c i'm judging this from a computer screen--and I'm afraid the RW would just be kind of harsh in comparison? So personally I would look for something a bit softer that will still read as white but not be quite as stark. We used Sherwin Williams Alabaster for our trim and built-ins in our last house; I really liked it (and I painted every inch of trim work in our house myself, so I was up close and personal with it a lot!) It was very neutral...did not have a blue, pink, green, yellow cast...but is a bit softer than something like Reflective White. Ben Moore has some good ones, too...White Dove is great, as is Cloud White. If it were me, I would definitely get some sample pots and test them against a large swatch of the gray at the property. They may want that bright bright white--in which case Reflective White or similar will be to their liking--but personally I would ere a bit softer.
