Watching #1 now, I forgot how much I liked not angry Dumbledore. Also, the technology advances throughout the series are quite incredible. Do you watch HTGAWM? Wes makes a regular appearance throughout the series. Uhhhhhh what? I don’t think so

I’m doing a W30 this month too, redandblue. I think CestLaVie is too. There’s a thread for it on the healthy living board if you’re interested! How do you go about the W30 as a veg? I did it before I went vegetarian and I ate SO much meat. Just cut sugar and alcohol ? You can modify it to include soy and/or legumes. I’m doing fermented soy (tempeh, miso) and fresh legumes (peas, green beans, etc) but no straight tofu or beans that would be dried/ canned (black beans, kidney beans, etc.) Plus I do eggs, and there are nuts and seeds. I’m doing a sustainable fish once/ week too, so I’m not completely veg. It’s not a by the book W30, but it’s in the same spirit.

I'm also not doing a by the book W30. I do really poorly on full restrictions (I just go like crazy on chocolate and candy the second I'm not compliant). So I am doing whole 30, but I have 5 non-W30 compliant points to spend a day (1 point per food). This is a lot more realistic for me and will still be a huge improvement.

Onto prisoner of Azkaban, no need to watch (or read) chamber of secrets.
Significant improvement in acting and effects.
I know everyone was deeply concerned about my HP live blog.
There is going to be a day this week that I’ll be day drinking and I will now take suggestions on how y’all would like to be entertained.

I need to re-read the entire series, as I stopped after the 3rd book I think. I stopped because the other books weren't out yet....
And I have yet to see an entire movie.

It's -6 with a real feel of -35 here. I'm trying to talk DH into moving to the Caribbean, but he's being all logical and negative Pretty sure I'm doing no spend this month. I feel like we've been hemorrhaging money, and we need to get back on track. I'd like to do a simple vacation this year, and that won't happen without some buckling down. I'm thinking home rental near Sleeping Bear Dunes, but DH just wants to hang around our area, which we did a couple years ago. There's not much to do in this (very rural!) area, so I'm hoping to convince him. I think I've figured out a new insurance company for home/auto, we're also finally going to get adequate life insurance. I've got none and DH has very minimal, so it's something we need to take care of. I'm also planning on DIYing a will, which is legal in my state, as long as it's witnessed appropriately. I figure we'll get it done professionally once we can afford to spend the money, but for now we need to have something in place. These are my main to do list for the month. I've been procrastination for far too long!

I am really dragging today. DS (almost 5) was up puking from 12:30am-6:30am last night. I spent much of the night sitting on his floor with a bowl ready for when he got sick. I got a little sleep here or there but not much. Running on caffeine right now and hoping nobody else in our house falls victim to this.
I'm meeting DH at the granite store in a bit to look for new counter tops for our kitchen remodel. This will be our second trip through the store. I didn't expect it to be so hard to find something we like.

Back to the grind today. 11° this morning here. No clue how y’all are dealing with that (or less) all day. I’m starting the gym back tomorrow. Not looking forward to it at all. I am utterly miserable with this NY weather. It hasn't even been over 10° for over 2 weeks now. And I'm out early in the morning so it is always a negative degree when I'm out... I'm over it. Majorly and completely over it.

taketheshot, I’m sorry y’all are going through that. My PCP prescribes my anxiety and depression meds. Just a thought. I was just coming here to write that I made an appointment with my PCP ... I have never been so excited to go to the doctor before 😆 I have been thinking for a few months now that I might have a thyroid issue and I just read an article ( thanks Dr. Google) about signs of hypothyroidism and I have literally every sign soooo hopefully I can get some answers... Appointment on the 15th 🙌🙌

So we don't have a definite date yet. Original close on the new house was Jan 25, so we sold ours with a close of Jan 31 to give some time to move (being the middle of winter and all!). RIGHT after we finalized the sale of our place, our builder came back with an extension to Feb 15. I was super annoyed. Anyways, he knows about our close (new owners can't move in sooner), so they are going to work with us to try to get us in for the original date. It's super annoying because moving takes planning and coordination, and that's hard to do when we don't know exact dates. Sorry that got long. TL;DR. Moving out Jan 27. Hopefully to the new house! If not, 'homeless' for a couple of weeks until Feb 15. Peekaru, yup we a building a new house, that seems to be taking forever, only because we reserved the lot pre-sale last January.

jedi I hope the appointment goes well. I'm sure you know, but there will most likely not be an easy, magic answer, but I do hope this dr gives you some hope and good advice. I know it's been challenging for you and your DS.

I gave my dad Ready Player One did Christmas. It’s not his style of book so I was nervous. But he’s only has like a 1/4 of it left! And he started it a few days ago!
