Wow. I want to go through labor again. And Christine pisses me off blocking Merri's dream. Ugh all the other wives are driving me nuts. But at least they aren't wear LLR.

Does Madison even give a flying fuck that Meri wasn't there at the birth? I thought she originally wanted just her husband and the midwife? They needed multiple therapy sessions to talk through this? My gosh. I'm really not seeing why Meri is in trouble here. This is insane to me.
Also having that many people watching me give birth is a huge no thank you please. Geez even Kody was in there?!?!

Or is Meri mad that she wasn't there? I'm confused.

This Meri/Christine conversation is full of all kinds of ridiculousness.
Honestly, Meri needs to work on her shit.
Or just go her own way and likely be much happier.

I actually Felt for Meri on this issue. She feels like the family no longer trusts her wants her part of the group, etc. Whether or not that's the reality or rational, she is entitled to her feelings. So when the birth happens, and she is told Madison doesn't want anyone after a certain point, she is respecting that but then finds out all the wives were present but her? Sure I can see that being a major hurt. And the sad thing is, you can't redo a birth. So it cannot be fixed, it can only be accepted and move on over time.
I think there are so many issues to unpack if they are all going to move forward with healthy constructive relationships. And some of them seem more willing than others. I would actually love to see Meri going to her bed and breakfast in Utah and stay there for a little bit setting up just to give herself some space and freedom to find herself and her own happiness.

Iām trying to feel for Meri but someone elseās birth is something you donāt get to feel a way about. Nobody but Maddie had a right to invite her in there, I think the other wives did the right thing.

I honestly think the other wives are making this more of a big deal than Meri was. Like wtaf. I hope Meri does move into that b&b. Her family is treating her like shit.

Ehh I think it's almost birth adjacent if that makes sense lol. It's more about an event that she feels left out of. I think she was most honest about her feelings when she said none of you looked around and thought oh there is an important person missing from the equation? And that pure raw feeling she expressed I truly feel for. I also would feel differently if she would have made this an issue with Madison and it doesn't come across as though she has involved her at all. So I don't think she's like ruining her birth or anything. I mean there were 17 people sitting in folding chairs watching her labor. Someone could have snuck out and included Meri.

They didnāt have any place to invite people in really. They all felt lucky to even still be there. Maybe Meri should have been more aggressive like Christine and Robin were. They were only there because they stuck around ĀÆ\_(ć)_/ĀÆ

I don't disagree with anything you are saying for the record. Just saying I can see how it would feel really sucky in Meris perspective. I guess I also don't look at it as inviting people in. All the grandmas seemed super excited and were all there. Except Meri who is feeling raw about her place.

They knew Meri was picking up Mariah. It wouldnāt have been hard for one person out of the 10 who were watching to at least text Meri and say hey, we are all in here. I can see how that hurt her feelings that they didnāt even think of her.

I donāt really buy the āit wasnāt my my placeā argument in regards to the other wives letting Meri know. It wasnāt their place to choose to post up and watch the whole labor but that sure as hell didnāt slow them down!

Kody is so full of himself just picking up a leg of his daughter bc heās the self proclaimed birth expert. Iām sure he couldnāt have cared less about Meri being left out.

Every time they show a flashback to the bathroom scene with the folding chairs I crack up. Like wtaf people. If you're carrying a folding chair into someone's bathroom you really need to evaluate what you are doing.

Definitely Team Meri with the labor thing. She was respecting what she was told originally by Madison and what she has always lived. They should have checked in with her. And especially after being included in the group text that said no one is to come over? Yeah I would feel the same. Why is Janelle so angry about this?

Janelle was super pissed that someone else dared to get engaged during what she considered Madison's time to get married. I think there are so many complicated layers of jealousy and self consciousness within polygamy that we probably won't ever actually understand it.
