I finally broke down and bought a pregnancy pillow online at 3 a.m. this morning. I really hope it helps with the sciatica pain. I didn't want to invest in one this pregnancy since it's my last one, but I need some relief! Happy hump Day ladies! I'm already looking forward to the weekend getting here. ETA: Safe travels to those traveling this week. Also, for those who are sick, I hope you feel better soon!

My Christmas was kind of a shit show. I fell on the stairs at the ILs a week ago and I’m still having a lot of pain from that. I missed 2 days of work because of it. My Mom has the flu so she had to cancel everything at her house and my sister ended up taking her to the ER Christmas night. I have my glucose test this morning. Hopefully that goes ok because...Christmas. Although I didn’t have any sweets after lunchtime yesterday and I’m having eggs for breakfast. I’m also getting an US since baby was uncooperative during my A/S. I am a little worried about it though because I still can’t sit without a donut and I can’t really lay on my back either. I guess we’ll figure out something.

Good luck with your GTT smilesp and good luck at your scans to you and polson. I'm trying to stop diclegis or unisom at night. Christmas night it went fine because I was so exhausted but yesterday I was still exhausted so I ended up drinking 2 cups of coffee during the day which meant I didn't fall asleep until 2:30 and was up at 7:30. Ugh. We're doing Christmas Part 2 with my ILs today. I kind of hate it. It usually takes 6-8 hours, during which my SIL and BIL get completely wasted. It's not a super fun time sober, let alone with a 2 yo. But I have to work today so my H and daughter are going over at noon and I will meet them there after work so at least I'll miss the first 3-4 hours of it. I'm hoping we're home by 7 but we'll see.

Toddler slept most of the day yesterday and all night. Seems like her fever broke finally so now she's just sick. The sleeping was a Christmas miracle. She's a non sleeper. I thought I was in for a rough night. She coughed right into my mouth yesterday so I am doomed.

Family skating party at the outdoor rink DH and friends set up every year. Brought my dog and it's the first time she's been on ice. It's hilarious.

polson, mattsgirl2004 I hope you both get relief from your new pillows! Mine has made a big difference on my sciatic pain. I can't believe I waited as long as I did to dig it out of the attic. I thought that wedging my throw pillows between my legs at night was enough but there was a huge difference in the pain once I busted out the preg pillow.

I'm apparently just going to spend this entire pregnancy with a cold. I am so done. We were supposed to go out with friends who are home from out of state on Friday but it's looking like MH will be going alone and I'll be stuck home sick with a sick toddler. I was going to have a night off 😭

I'm fairly sure all I do is complain. I feel like I complain a lot too. At my last counseling appointment I told my counselor I was full of complaints. I am sorry about your cold. I hope it quickly runs its course and you can go out on Friday.

I’m glad everyone had pretty decent Christmases! Mine was good too. Just exhausting which is par for the course lately.
I de-Christmased today and as much as I adore my decorations and the season it’s always a relief to not be surrounded by stuff. And I feel like my annual urge to organize is enhanced this year. I was awake at 330 on Pinterest looking up organizing solutions for my kitchen and closets

We took down our tree today and I'm so relived to have that space back. It was a beautiful tree, but effing gigantic.

Today was so's birthday and he had the day off. I had to call in sick and take myself to the doctor. Nothing went as planned today and I think he's a little disappointed and also kind of homesick since we could visit his family for the holidays.

It’s killing me to be away from home and unable to take down all the Christmas decor right now. I love it during the holidays, but as soon as the 26th rolls around, I don’t want to see it. Don’t want to hear a Christmas song or watch a Christmas movie either. We’ll get home on the 1st and I hope I have some motivation to take it all down. On top of unloading all the Christmas gifts and unpacking almost 2 weeks of clothes.

Ha I see I am in the minority, but I will pry leave my Christmas decor up till the end of January. It's pretty minimal, no tree and I just switched out decorations I had sitting out. Also I only put it up about two weeks before Christmas, max. Christmas is here and gone way too fast for me.

Not that we celebrate it completely I just like to acknowledge it.

I love Christmas so much, I hate it when people act like it's over on boxing day lol. We put our tree up on December 9 every year and take it down after the new year. I leave other decorations up until Epiphany, then we have one final celebratory dinner (with a galette des rois!).

+1 to the crew that keeps their decorations up until after the New Year. Mine is all about the lazy, though. We only decide to take everything down when we know the Boy Scouts are coming, hahaha. I can listen to Christmas music forever, though. I love it so much. I've worked at the mall and it still doesn't faze me. I just cannot hate Christmas music.

I put mine up mid-November so I’m itching for space back after Christmas. Yes I get instantly in the mood for getting winter over with after Christmas. This year I had the extra push of being panicky about not even close to being ready for a new baby.

I pulled our infant car seat out to check the expiration date. It's good until 2019, so we're all set there. What I really need to do is clear out the nursery and paint it. I just don't really have the motivation to do it.
