Good morning! It’s esrly. I’m So annoyed. Doesn’t H know I’m like 37w pregnant. He puts up such a stink about how cold I want our room right now & as soon as I fall asleep at night he turns the fan off. So I woke up super hot & can’t fall back asleep. I would just turn the fan back on but he argues w me about it during the day & is a super grouch MOTN so DNW to deal with that. I’ll just lay here wide awake & give him shit about it in the morning. My comfort & sleep should trump his at this point!!
Also yesterday he started “reminiscing” about how exhausting the newborn stage is, how tired he was with DD etc etc lol. I’m like ummm no. Haha

dragonflyinn my DH is the same way with the temperature. I was up sweating and can’t go back to sleep. It’s so annoying. DD is sick and that’s not helping with keeping her in her room. She cried like 3 times throughout the night and finally just came in here. And she keeps coughing all over me. I better not get sick. Do not want to be coughing after my c section.

H was hacking up a storm last night so that makes me nervous too bc he usually tries to brush it off as allergies & I’ll be irritated if he is sick when baby comes.

Morning ladies! I woke up with some lovely cramps so if course my mind is on high alert wondering if I'm going into labor. I'm guessing no and I should try to go back to sleep. My H thinks he's getting a cold. Uh, not allowed.
Also, I'm a bit annoyed with him for something unrelated. I guess somehow people at his work found out about my fall & trip to L&D and kept asking him yesterday if I was okay. He said last night that they seemed more concerned than he was about the situation. Uh... i fell HARD on my pelvis and I'm 38 weeks pregnant. I asked him if he realized how serious it could be if the placenta started detaching. His response was "well, you felt him moving around so he's fine". Men just don't get it.

jessijean men are clueless. I was having some maybe contractions last night. Ranged from every 3 minutes to every 7 minutes and then I guess tapered off because I fell asleep. I’m cramping again this morning but haven’t been timing these. I’m willing the baby to stay put until my parents get here in a few days.

I woke up around 4:30 and can’t fall back asleep. DD3 started singing in her room at 4:57am. WTH? Sleep child, just sleep. Thankfully she never cries out or tries to get out of her room, and her sleep light doesn’t go off until 6:30. Maybe she’ll fall back asleep? Trying to convince myself to get out of bed and be productive. But it’s cozy in here.

Good morning! My poor little G has a runny nose. She is in a good mood and doesn’t seem to be in pain but her nose is bothering her. She also has no fever thankfully. Today I have to buy two more gifts because I realize I have nothing for my stepmom to open, just a card with money and I want her to open something. Also amazon dropped the ball and didn’t send one of the gifts I bought. I ordered 5, they sent 4 so I have to replace that one. I also have to work for two hours. MH was supposed to spend last night putting together G’s dollhouse for Christmas. He decided to ask his parents to stay here while G was sleeping so that we can go to the movies. I appreciate the date night but now I am going to end up putting the damn dollhouse together tonight while he plays D&D. I wanted to be doing some Christmas crafts but I guess not. I think G and I are going to cuddle and watch a movie.

I'm the opposite about temperature. I like it warmer than DH. I have woken up itchy the last few nights. I'm worried about cholestasis. It isn't too bad during the day though. peachesncream yay for head down! @helloerrybody glad your DS is improving and you were able to see the surgeon smash I hope the induction is going well.

Last night DS woke at 12 and 2 but I didn’t have to go up there as he put himself back down. (He has been waking several times a night since surgery.) Then he slept til 7:15! Hallelujah! I’m finally going to feel human today I think. And I know he needed the good sleep, too.

I just put on Nightmare before Christmas. G asked for it. It’s my favorite so I am not complaining.

And the name discussion continues here. Initially William was planned for the middle name and now DH is thinking he wants to isw if for the first name. I'm not sure what I think. I don't love it. It is #3 on last year's list which I don't really like.

dragonflyinn No way, it’s just a little while longer. He can throw on an extra blanket. Does the temp bother him or does he also dislike the breeze from the fan? My H likes fan noise and cool air all year long, which is fine but I hate the sensation of air blowing directly in my face. We point the fan at the ceiling and it keeps the air circulating without my hair tickling my face all night. flippinchica Hope the itching is nothing! A woman on my last BMB had cholestasis. Everything was fine, but they did end up inducing her at 37 weeks to be on the safe side. jessijean Sometimes I forget how much less my DH knows about pregnancy than I do. Then I have to explain kick counts to him for the 20th time.

I knew hearing eight months would finally get my DH to take the name conversation a little more seriously. He told me last night that he’s coming around to one of the four names on our list and it might be his favorite. It happens to be my favorite too. I am playing it cool because with DS we had two final names and we each had our strong preference and I “won”. So I am trying to be less pushy this time 😛 (I wish we could use the name he liked this time around, but they actually rhyme, so that’s not gonna happen).

snowyowl he doesn’t mind the temp it’s mostly the breeze from the fan on his face. Unfortunately there’s no moving the fan & we can’t makw the house much colder bc DDs room gets to be freezing if it’s set too low. We both will suffer I guess lol.

Morning! We’re basically making today our Sunday so grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning etc. Wife is feeling better. Her blood sugar is down to 224. Still way too high but it seems to have peaked so we’re on the right track. I’m in her to drink a bunch of water. She keeps saying her diabetes “cake back” no lady, it never went away. You just need to take care of it. She’s all sad about not getting to eat Christmas goodies and I keep telling her it’s all about balance. If she eats well, she can have a tiny piece of cake. Just not like 3 desserts and a giant helping of sweet potato casserole at dinner. Sigh. Idk what happened. Anyway, after all the “Sunday” stuff we’re going to the boat parade downtown. Basically people decorate their boats w lights and they parade them on the water front. I’m sure DS will love it!

DS has lost his fear of the Roomba. This is unfortunate for me because before I could put it on the floor to clean and DS would be totally mesmerized and follow it around everywhere, but be too scared to get close. Now he’s slamming on the buttons and trying to pick it up. That thing is too expensive to get smashed by my toddler so my days of chilling on the couch while he stalks his robot babysitter are over.

hiimjamie I saw your post last night and didn’t get to commenting, I’m glad your wife is feeling better, that sounds scary. Have fun today! My side of the bed is by the window and even though I live where it’s Canada cold it’s been propped open just slightly at night for me because I am SO HOT sleeping. Just this morning I woke up under all the blankets sweating and feeling like I had a fever and I ripped them off and said to H “OMG I can’t wait until it’s -50 tomorrow night and I crank the window open” 😂 I’m on kid 3, he’s learned not to say anything to my crazy Baha. And good morning! Extended family Christmas today! We have turkey supper and the kids do gifts. My kids drew two of the 13 year old girls names so I hope I did ok because frick if I know what that age group likes right now lol! I love that we still have this family tradition even now that my grandparents are no longer alive, and it’s very rare that someone can’t make it. It’s almost always all my cousins/aunts/uncles (and as far as I know it will be everyone again this year). Hope everyone has a good Saturday and feels the best they can for Christmas weekend!

I was going to attempt to not watch TV today while home alone with the kids. That lasted about an hour and a half 😂 maybe next year. Now I am just counting down the time until nap and hoping my 21 month old decides to sleep longer than an hour today.

A lot of the time he doesn't even pay attention, it's background noise but boy does he notice if it's off!

G only gets to watch tv on the weekends because her schedule is so crazy during the week. She isn’t feeling well today so it’s been snuggle and tv all day. I don’t even care.

jessijean, I hope you feel back to "normal" soon. Yeah, men don't get it! hiimjamie, sorry to hear about your wife! That sounds scary! I think I hit a wall. I haven't been getting enough sleep and I have been sick for over a month. The thing with the stitches put me over the edge...I think I mentioned it but I got 2 sets of sutures in Nov that were supposed to be dissolvable but had some pieces that were not apparently. A friend removed them for me yesterday. Well from one part. I just realized there's more that needs to be removed last night. I'm getting more upset about it than I feel I should but I can't help it. Looking forward to the holidays but also kind of bummed out bc food is all yuck to me again. All I want is rice. My reflux is just out of control even with Zantac and constantly popping Tums.

I went to prenatal yoga this morning. At the beginning they ask how everyone's feeling and I swear 20 ladies were like, "I feel great". I'm like, "I feel terrible. My back hurts, my sciatic nerve is pinching me, my hip feels like its out of the socket and keeps loosing feeling, my neck and shoulders ache and my feet keep cramping."
These people.

We walked around the mall for a few hours during lunchtime. The tendons in my hip socket felt so loose I kept having to stop. Also thought I was maybe losing my mucus plug when I went to the bathroom— it was all green discharge but then when we came home it looked more yellow so maybe it was just the mall bathroom lighting. :/
DD is sleeping & H is wrapping presents for me! Vikings play tonight so I think we’re hanging at home the rest of the day. I’m worn out from the mall & I reorganized/rearranged DD’s playroom area this morning too.
