So she is starting on 1/1? I will plan on starting 1/2 then. I work out at 8:20 on weekdays, so I will need to be a day behind for video availability.

Ok, I’m going to start on 1/2 and just do it on vacation. It’s only 20 minutes and I’ll have access to a gym. I’m excited.

I'm like...but I have a new challenge starting next week.
I'm going to cough up the 5 bucks a month and do the ab series as well.

Well, for the duration of maternity leave anyway. Then once I'm back to work I will have to figure it out.
I signed up for the meal plan. I'm going to sign up for a dietbet transformer, too.

I signed up for 7.0 and the ab series. I'm waffling on the diet bet, I've done them twice before and hated each time. But, I never did it at the same time as an exercise challenge so maybe I should give it a whirl.
10 a.m. PST is 1 p.m. EST right? I'll likely never be working out at 1 in the afternoon so I might end up a day behind as well. But I do want to do the first one live, since it's a holiday and MH will be home to entertain the children at that time.
ETA I just realized the diet is only for one month, I'll totally do that. I leave for vacation on February 2nd so that is perfect.

Will the workout be live right away? If so I might start on 1/1 just do it later in the day. I’m still working on 5.0...been slacking quite a bit this vacation so I will likely have to double up 5.0 and 7.0 for a few days.
ETA I am so excited to be starting from the beginning with you all instead of being 20-30 days behind. And I need some serious accountability right now.

For those of you signing up for the ab series I really like it. It’s super short but I definitely feel it and it’s almost like the missing piece of the puzzle. I’m excited to repeat ab workouts and see progress. I started them so late with 5.0 that I have only been doing each one once.

I signed up for the diet bet and bought heavier weights today (never increased weight after phase 2 of 5.0 as I was still struggling with 8 lbs).

Can I play? I did all of 6.0 and I really appreciated the accountability here. Then around late summer I lost all my momentum, my eating went to shit, and based on the way my clothes currently fit I'm avoiding my scale.
I really want to get back on track. I started by purging our house of most crap yesterday. I may do the Diet Bet too- I have money in my account there.

I did my initial weigh in today. I also bought a planner. I am not a planner person and another of my goals is to be more organized. Does anyone use planners for their weight loss or fitness goals? If so, what are your strategies? I do. For me recording an honest baseline has been helpful and motivating. Also setting small goals that include both habit goals (15 day workout streak) and measurement goals alongside rep goals and weight goals. It has helped me broaden my view of "fit" and get less discouraged.

I'm registered for 7.0 and I decided to go ahead and buy the workbook. It'll be better for me to have something physical where I can see and track my progress instead of using a note on my phone. I won't be doing the Dietbet, but I'm excited for everyone here who is!

What does the work book do exactly? Just have a list of each days exercises for you to write your number next to? Or is there more to it. Mostly. It has some meal plan things and some other progress "journal" type spaces. I just know that I won't be able to do it "live" because my schedule hinges on doing doubles at least once a week. I wrote out everything in 5.0 ahead of time in a lined notebook. Because this one is live and isn't all on the website ahead of time, I downloaded the workbook to be able to go ahead for double days if need be.

I always forget to check this board, but I hope to participate more. I'm thinking of doing weight watchers and yoga with Adriene's 30 day challenge. I've done her other two challenges, but I got out of the yoga habit this year.
