Question of the night - I bought strawberries today, and one of them is moldy. Do I throw them all out? I'm leaning towards yes. No. Just don't eat the moldy ones. |

thisbitch I'm wondering if you just solved a huge mystery for me. The large majority of houses here are built so the ground level floor is the "basement"/entry level, and the entire household is located on the second floor... kitchen, living room, bedrooms, etc. I have been annoyed by not understanding this because I'm not in an especially flood prone area so I couldn't figure it out. Maybe it's the bears.

Question of the night - I bought strawberries today, and one of them is moldy. Do I throw them all out? I'm leaning towards yes. I would throw out the moldy one and any other strawberry it touched, then tell my H he can have all the strawberries. He knows what this means. |

I'm clinging to sanity by a thread. MIL said she was coming to take DD and then ghosted me. I know it's really lucky to have family that helps out, but to be let down like that when I'm already zonked is just... 🍷🍷🍷🍷

There are two neighborhood children playing in my yard. DD is making neighborhood friends. I feel like a creep just watching them from the kitchen window.

I would love to be the creep watching from the window. We really don't have kids their age in the neighborhood so I am always out there playing with them. Hopefully we'll move in the next year or two and we can have kids to entertain them while we hang out with their parents and have drinks! Future goals. |

well, considering I can't even get to the proboards support forum, I'm guessing it's FUBAR at the highest level (ie, it's not us this time) I tried, too, and haven't been able to get through, so I don't think this is us. That said, I do know the other place had issues early on with us overloading the forum or something that supposedly went away when it became a paying site. Since this is a free forum, I think some glitches are unavoidable. (That does not mean I won't be making PB aware of them when they happen. If I can get through.) |

DD is turning 5 next week so this will be the first summer she'll be old enough to play with the rest of the kids. Two little girls, 7 and 9, just moved in next door and they seem sweet. The other one just showed up in the yard. I walked to her house to make sure her parents knew but no one answered the door. The front door was open and the screen door wasn't latched all the way.😕 |
