Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? as previously stated, i'm kinda freaking out about the logistics of 3 kids. unless something big changes, i will still have to go back to work f/t and i just don't know how we are going to manage drop-offs/pick-ups/lunches/pumping etc. etc. is anyone else here having their 3rd and still going to be working? i know long-term i am not going to regret another baby, but in the short-term i am feeling like we made a very ill-considered decision. sorry to be a downer. I could have written this exactly....we need my income long term it makes sense for me to keep working but 3 in daycare...i was really trying to avoid that. I am overwhelmed thinking about how I will manage though the 1st year.

When is your due date? How far along are you? July 13 (est) 7w6d
How big is baby? Blueberry
Any upcoming appointments? Dec 4th ultrasound
Any new symptoms or changes? Less nausea but lots of cotton mouth and really sensitive nipples
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I'm still a little in denial, but also terrified it might be twins because my levels were still in the normal range but right at the top when I did my blood draw
GTKY: Do you like/love/hate/are neutral to snow? I hate driving in it but like the look of it around Christmas. We moved back to the Midwest last year after 8 years in SoCal so it's been an adjustment

tarheelmom, yikes at 3 dropoffs-- my DS2 goes to a daycare/preschool combo so this baby could be in the same place, at least. i'll have to pick your brain at some point about logistics at some point. my issue is that right now i drop off in the morning (i work late, 10-6, to avoid the worst of rush hour) and my mom picks up... but i feel like leaving her alone with 3 kids every afternoon is too much. she is already picking up DS1 when he gets out of K at 3:20. not to mention that right now none of us has a car large enough to fit 3 car seats unless we buy all new super-narrow seats. DH has a 1 hour commute each way so he really can't get home early enough to get the kids from DC. jewelsofthenile, yes, thinking about it makes my head spin! i'm trying not to spiral on it too much since it's so early right now, but as you can see just from my paragraph above, it's hard not to. @_@

At least we only have to pay for two since DD will be starting K. DH starts work really early, before preschool/daycare open, but at least that means he's off in time to handle pick up. It still doesn't make up for me having to get them up, dressed and fed by myself every morning! Yeah, the car situation is our big concern right now, DH wants to move DD into a backless booster and I'm not even ready to take her out of the 5-point harness! We definitely need a bigger vehicle to fit 3.
