katietopaz YES I've been drooling over a black and white striped JJB BFF for the last year. It is way out of my spending range tho so I bought a black and white striped bash and plan to use a diaper bag insert so I can switch out bags easily because I like change.

I need to get a new diaper bag and I want a backpack style now anyway. Recommendations? I like JJB... are they really worth it?

alwayscheese Yes! I like change, too, so I swear by those organizational cubes and pouches. It makes it super easy to change to another bag. If you wanted to try a BFF, I see them pop up as lightning deals on Amazon, or you could get one secondhand - they hold up really well. smilesp No, you really don't have to get a JJB to get a good bag. You're definitely paying in part for the name, but the quality and features are there. You can watch Target, Amazon, and the JJB website for deals. I've also heard great things about the Skip Hop diaper bag backpacks, and I'm sure there are tons of well-priced options on Zulily/Amazon/etc.

I’ll start bc I have one million questions. How many of these things do I actually need? Sleep sacks/ swaddles Crib sheets/mattress covers Pnp sheets Changing pad covers Receiving blankets/swaddle blankets Also, brand/fabric type preferences for any of these? I haven't read through the 3 pages yet, but... Sleep Sacks - get a couple in each size, and one fleece in the bigger sizes - cotton is fine for our babes since it tends to get warmer out - but it depends on where you live/when you're due. Crib Sheets - I have a rotating of 4 of these, plus ONE extra mattress cover. PNP Sheets - we have one that's padded, but Crib Sheets FIT pack n plays - so I would just register for a few more crib sheets and use those! Changing Pad Covers - I'd say 5. They can get mess, fast. It's great to have a few on rotation. Blankets - IME people LOVE to bring blankets - register for the type you love - We prefer the muslin ones, over the flannels. The likelihood is, you'll have an abundance of blankets given to you from your shower.. Things to register for as well: Baby Tylenol Nose Frida Baby Saline Mylicon (or generic version) Baby Nail Clippers Mustela Foaming Shampoo - I swear this is the best at combating cradle cap, and helping to get it go away. There's more I'm sure - but that's what I can think of right now!
