My state's Attorney General just posted on FB about Lularich. Apparently his legal team filed one of the first lawsuits against them. Definitely on my watch list. Are you in WA? A gal I went to high school with posted something to IG stories when the docuseries was announced thanking the state for helping her get her money back from Lularoe. Also, there was a house right next to a park I used to take my kids to. They we're always having Lularoe events (obvious because of the multiple signs in their yard) and at one point converted a small bus into a mobile Lularoe closet. 😬 👀

So why aren’t other MLM’s getting sued, like YL or DoTerra?
ETA- Never mind, episode 2 explains it

She was class of '04.

This bit about retiring the husbands is insane. Oh that was very heavily pushed. At least it was in the line I was in.

I watched the first two episodes last night. It’s insane how much money they were making with absolutely no idea how to run a business of that size.

The one son crying in the first episode literally made me laugh out loud. I was like, “Is this real?!” This was a huge red flag for me. Like everyone I ever known whose parents own their own business, it's assumed that at one point they will be asked/expected to help with the family business. The fact that he was so taken aback by his parents asking has me thinking they were completely self involved and unloving parents. *this is how it came across to me. I'm not saying if you've never been asked to join your family business that you have shitty parents.*

Another thing that made me head tilty was when Deanne said she was making 20,000 maxi skirts a month. Bitch, no you weren't. There's no fucking way that's physically possible. You were buying and reselling, or outsourcing the sewing to a factory, and not slaving over a sewing machine day and night like you are making it out to be.

I was kind of upset that the factory workers weren’t mentioned at all. I’m sure many were/are barely getting paid.

I saw the Hiring from within the family very typical to how many religious orgs work if y’all get my drift. I didn’t see it any different from when pastor hire their family to church roles so as to keep the money within the family. Also, all the addresses linked to Lularoe wouldn’t have been that possible with non family people. Not sure I’m explaining it right.

I also don’t believe that Mark and Deanne’s version of the story is 100% the truth. They seem pretty delusional so I’d say we’re getting 50% as a best case scenario.

Omg just started episode 3, but episode 2 when DeAnne stops Mark from talking about the compensation structure for recruiting and takes over making it about amplifying her story when she couldn’t physically keep up with the demand for it 🤣🤣🤣 perfect perfect example of how they are master manipulators of spin. All her pretend bimbo “I don’t know our business address, I didn’t know I’m the co CEO” stuff on trial is so clearly an act. She’s lead puppeteer and she knows exactly what spin she wants to put on everything.

I thought it was hilarious how she made it sounds like these ideas just came to her and she just blurted them out without any forethought.

H came home to me watching episode one. We're now on episode three and even though I tossed him the remote and told him he could watch something else, he hasn't turned it off, lol.
This shit is bonkers. I knew it was, but to see it all spilled like this is really something.

After years of database management roles, I might actually die at the Google docs and Excel stories.

Deanne is such a lying liar in her deposition The son saying he didn’t recall what his cousin did at the family business was the most egregious.

Katrina is totally painting Mark and Deanne as the victims…ripped off and led astray by those who were making the most money in their company. I…wut??
I’m only halfway through.
