Hugs nuggetrn. I know the eating smaller meals thing is commonly recommended, but she clearly wasn’t listening to your personal history/needs.

Weeks pregnant: 14w6d Baby is the size of a: Troll doll, or beet FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM (4th preg) Team: Finding out! Appointments: Check-up in a couple of weeks Symptoms: Oh hello, second tri. The nausea and insane fatigue is mostly gone. Just mild sore boobs and food aversions. Easily numb hands started up! Milestones: Second trimester!! Rants/Raves/Vents: I am not a big fan of this awkward phase where I don't obviously look pregnant, I just look like I've put on more weight. Also, we're totally planning to splurge and go to one of those ultrasound boutiques to find out the gender early. We did one at 15ish weeks with DS, and we're thinking of going in a week or two for this one. GTKY: What is your favorite band? Currently? Well...I've had the Hamilton soundtrack on repeat for months now, so. We have tickets for December 😁 I'm also a closet Taylor Swift fan, admittedly mostly her music from her early days.

Bonus points for bloat, blump, bump pics😊
Weeks pregnant: 17 weeks
Baby is the size of a: pomegranate
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: blue
Appointments: I had an appointment last week and got a surprise quick ultrasound!! LO looked great. Otherwise my next appointment is in a few weeks and my anatomy scan is at the end of the month.
Symptoms: fatigue and throwing up. Still from my medicine weaning. I finally went down to my last dose so just another week or so and I am off!! Hope to start feeling better then.
Milestones: I guess a bunch of people at work know now? And we told extended family. Otherwise I've got nothing this week.
ETA - omg duh - I've been feeling little baby kicks all week!! Not every day, but I'm happy they are starting.
Rants/Raves/Vents:
When I told one of my coworkers yesterday she's like yeah you haven't told me...but there are rumors you are. Like okay? I don't love people talking about me behind my back, so like either ask me for confirmation or STF up and mind your own business. Also, since so many people "suspect," it's making me feel pretty awkward about my weight gain. Because everyone I've told had been like "well yeah you look like you've put on weight." Gee thanks.
GTKY: What is your favorite band? Don't have one. I'm not really into music, there are a few bands I like but mostly I just enjoy songs. It's rare I like a bunch of songs by the same band. Like Imagine Dragon - I love a lot of their songs but wouldn't say they are a favorite.
Okay going to try to add a picture - sorry if it's huge, I rarely add photos.

smilesp, I'm with you with people saying stupid things. People think because you are pregnant they have a right to comment on things that would otherwise be so inappropriate. cornpop, that's so sweet about your dream! For the ladies with the bad taste - I think yianna and pearbear - I've had that for weeks. I had to figure out what was causing it (sweets made it worse) and what made it better (for me pickles helped). I think if you google it, a bunch of stuff comes up, I forget the name of it but it's common in pregnancy, just super annoying. @nuggertn, I'm sorry for the insensitive comments from your doctor. I'm glad she gave you the meds you need anyways.

Weeks pregnant: 10 on Saturday. Baby is the size of a: Somewhere between a tater tot & a Ferrero Rocher. FTM/STM/TTM/etc: Third. Team: Green! Appointments: Nothing until next week. OB will also give me the referral for the MFM then, too. Symptoms: So much nausea/vomiting. It's actually lessening from all day to moreso following lunch/continuing the rest of the day. Exhaustion, food aversions, sore boobs still, no motivation to get up & move, PREGNANCY BRAIN. I am so forgetful right now. Milestones: 1/4 of the way through! Rants/Raves/Vents: ETA: I lied. I online ordered a pizza and H went to pick it up. He just called to make sure I ordered from this place (yes), because they don't have our order. Jerks didn't look at online orders and haven't made our pizza yet. I'm getting hangry, damn it. GTKY: What is your favorite band? The Beatles comes to mind first, so I guess them. I sent this to H earlier this week saying something like "Goodbye, toes". Third baby bumps are no joke.

Weeks pregnant: 11
Baby is the size of a: poker chip
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: stm
Team: finding out
Appointments: oct 18
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, and I'm still exhausted and drowning in my own mucus from being sick two weeks ago.
Milestones: finally threw up two days ago. I've threw up in my mouth and dry heaved and gagged and whatever else but I've tried hard not to throw up. 10 weeks is a personal pregnancy best though so it is what it is.
Rants/Raves/Vents: WHY DO I STILL HAVE THIS STUFFY NOSE??? I'm drowning in mucus. It gags me and I almost puke 300 times a day.
GTKY: What is your favorite band? Fall Out Boy. I know. I never grew out of my high school emo phase.

Oh, and I got a stomach bug this weekend, which should legit be illegal while pg - finally starting to feel better today, so I'm rally rally hoping this is THE END of the nausea/vomiting. Milestones: soooooooooooooooo close to 2nd tri Rants/Raves/Vents: Just that the stomach bug really wiped me out. GTKY: I'm all over the board w/ music (pop, county, soft rock, R&B, etc etc etc), but I guess country is my go-to. Miranda Lambert, Lady A, Old Dominion is my jam lately.

Weeks pregnant: 14w2d
Baby is the size of a: peach/troll doll
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Blue
Appointments: Nothing until the end of Oct although I did hear baby’s HB on Sept 26th which was wonderful
Symptoms: I still get sick if I don’t eat often enough. Shedding my hair. Crying at stupid TV shows and just general mood swings. Oh! And NotConstipation. That’s a fucking treat.
Milestones: I feel silly saying this but I think I felt baby move a couple of times. It feels really early for that but I’m about 98% certain.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I now hate turkey bacon. So good thing I had bought a bunch on my last grocery trip.
GTKY: What is your favorite band? Um, I always feel like a loser when I answer these things. I like songs rather than bands and I probably have terrible taste. My son and I have been rocking out to Wake Me Up Before You Go Go lately.

Baby is the size of a: Roborovski hamster
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: stm

Appointments: Tomorrow!
Symptoms: Still vomiting, but it seems to be less frequent. Heartburn and a killer headache that won't go away.
Milestones:
Rants/Raves/Vents: DD and I are going to attempt a 16 hour car ride to VA to see my newborn niece Saturday. I'm really hoping neither of us get sick on the drive...DD gets car sick on the long ride through the mountains.
GTKY: What is your favorite band? I've been on a musical/show tunes kick for a little while. But I like to listen to Panic at the Disco when I'm exercising.

Weeks pregnant: 13w5d
Baby is the size of a: Finding Nemo (clownfish) which makes my DD very excited.
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM, 4th Pregnancy
Team: Pink
Appointments: Regular checkup next week.
Symptoms: I’m still really sick. Eating makes it worse. Being awake makes it worse. I’m just a mess. Also fatigue.
Milestones: Hit 2nd tri!
Rants/Raves/Vents: Just really having a hard time being so sick this time around. I haven’t felt well for months now and it’s exhausting. I feel like my age is just making everything worse. Also, I’m usually a really voracious reader. I try to read 100 books a year. But since I’ve gotten sick I haven’t even picked up a book, it’s making me depressed. I’m a delightful person to be around right now.
GTKY: What is your favorite band? I really don’t know? I mostly just listen to Hamilton on repeat right now.

we didn’t get any cute profile pictures of the baby today. After getting all the measurements it basically smooshed it’s face against the uterine wall and stayed there. My kid probably gave yours the idea. My bad. I swear I'm never going to get the beautiful profile pics everyone associates with ultrasounds. Did you get the creepy alien face? We sure did and it is fun to freak out a few coworkers with.

Weeks pregnant: 15w 6d
Baby is the size of a: apple, avocado tomorrow
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Blue
Appointments: Monday OB, need to schedule my AS.
Symptoms: nothing new really. Nausea mostly gone. Gas. Constipation. Fun times!
Milestones: going public (a few people know so grape vine underway...) at work when I go back blump and all Tues after two weeks break.
Rants/Raves/Vents: bracing myself for the onslaught of stupid comments. If my MIL tells one more person incorrectly that I can’t eat X Y and Z I’ll explode though.
GTKY: What is your favorite band? The xx, red hot chilli peppers, kings of Leon

I'm a day late (sorry)
Weeks pregnant: 11
Baby is the size of a: donut hole
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Green
Appointments: Ultrasound on 10/16
Symptoms: so tired and feeling gross. I work PT at a clothing store and none of my pants are comfortable and blump is in full view. I have to work today and am dreading it.
Milestones: just counting the weeks til I reach second tri!
Rants/Raves/Vents: has anyone switched doctors mid pregnancy? I had a pretty terrible experience with residents at the hospital I had DS at and assume this time will be the same since I'm being seen by the same OB group. I'm thinking of seeing if the local midwifery group will take me as a patient, but is it weird to switch mid pregnancy? They admit to the same hospital, which is the most mom/baby friendly in town.
GTKY: What is your favorite band: right now I'm loving Glass Animals and Maggie Rogers. Big fan of Phoenix.

laines i love phoenix! in terms of switching ob mid pregnancy, i would say if you are that unhappy it would probably be worth it. i have moved 2x since last pregnancy so i totally understand the whole pain in the butt aspect of trying to get medical records to new place, etc. you are still pretty early so i guess i would call and see what kind of availability the place you want to go has.

Weeks pregnant: 16 weeks, 4 days
Baby is the size of: avocado, dill pickle
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: I want to stay green, but DH doesn't want to.
Appointments: Tuesday (10/10) with the OB
Symptoms: off and on nausea and still throwing up occasionally, I am having some sensations that might be movement
Milestones: N/A
Rants/Raves/Vents: I am struggling with my anxiety. Thanks to being PAIF/PGAL every little thing makes me nervous/anxious. I just want to be able to relax, but every time I start to something happens that makes me anxious.
GTKY: What is your favorite band? I don't really follow any bands. I am so bad at keeping with bands, actors, actresses.

FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: find out 11/9
Appointments: regular OB this past Tuesday and HB was great. AS 11/9
Symptoms: I'm feeling pretty good right now. Just super tired but my cold may have something to do with that.
Milestones: I'm pretty confident I've been feeling baby move this past week and it's in the area baby is when the doppler is used.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I need this cold to go away so I can get some energy back.
GTKY: What is your favorite band? I don't think I have one at the moment.
