My Intentions and Prescence Here

When I originally created this forum. I never thought it would be used. After the Naria exposure thing. I really thought TCF would go black and I didn't want to lose some info I found valuable over there. I created this forum. A small team

I was PM several times for the link as I mentioned it was a back up plan, just in case. I told everyone, "Hey we are on SM so there's no need."

Well SM went bust.

So this link was shared.

I was hoping in the future there would be an Admin Committee. More of a tribe has spoken vibe with reps from across the forum. Not any one person running anything. I am anti election because the smaller groups don't often get heard that way. Also after 7 years being on the boards. I have never seen one that didn't get nasty and hurtful. So I was looking for a group with people from each "culture" in my mind.

Now my involvement is being questioned. It's hurtful to say the least. My only intention was to not leave any one person or group out if they wanted to come. I have spent the pass few days literally glued to the PC or my phone to set this up.

Now, people don't want me involved. That's fine. If people decide to stay, I have made Admins some people that had expressed interest. They are: Enchanted, Brux, Hilarityensued, Frank

If people decide to leave and go where I am not involved that is cool too.

So sorry my creating a forum offended so may people. I mean, I didn't force anyone to come here. I have said several times on TCF that this is not MY place. I offered the forum to SEVERAL groups on TCF. No one wanted it. I asked for help to build boards. Only 2 people offered. I asked for interested people to Admin. A few offered. I don't see what I did wrong.

McBenny Admin, I mean, I barely go here but I cannot tell you how relieved I was to come here and see a home set up for everyone. When I've needed advice and perspective, this group has been a saving grace for me and I try my very best to reciprocate that whenever I can. I truly believe your heart is always in the right place and your no-bones approach to things has helped me have a thicker skin out here in the Internet wild. I would be very sad to see you go, especially after all of the time and effort you put in to making sure we had somewhere to go.

I agree with AmyG about why are all of the other admins just from parenting?

Nothing against HilarityEnsued @frank and brux but I feel like we should have 1 from parenting, one from ttc, one from al etc, not all from parenting. I can see why there's grumbling. I was happy with just you and Amy honestly.
