I just bought preggie pops, morning sickness tea and a mint inhaler because this nausea is winning. I actually threw up today at work. Which is SO much worse than at home because I work in Philly and we frequently see cockroaches in our (actually very nice) office building. DO NOT WANT to be sitting on the floor. But, I did figure out that if I constantly suck on ice chips I can actually get water into my body without feeling sick so...that's a win. I'm sorry you're feeling so terrible... What is a mint inhaler?? Also, Philly represent! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V3N42H0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1My friend's husband is a nurse anesthetist and when any of his fellow nurses are pregnant, this is what they use during surgery to deal with the nausea. He got her one when she was pregnant and she said it helped a bit. I am basically willing to try anything at this point.

I just got an email the Disney on Ice is coming to town in Oct. I'm going to see if DH wants to go with us this year. DD enjoys it and the tickets aren't horribly expensive. hmmm... I'm going to see Disney on Ice in October.. (actually Sept 30), so now I'm wondering if we live near each other.. lol.
Moana is going to be in the cast - it's the only reason I sprung for the tix.

I live in TN. I don't think Moana is in the show coming here...it looks like Jasmine is going to be the main character.

They really helped me with the constant nausea. Did you get the ones with B6? A friend of mine was much sicker than me and her OB had her taking 25 mg of B6 every 6 hours. She said that really helped.

I had my first appt with the midwife this morning and now I am sitting in the lab waiting to get some blood work. Lucky me gets to do the GTT at 12 weeks because of PCOS. I need to eat real food and I am starvinggg, also exhausted.
15 more minutes.

I hope you get to eat soon! They really should have snacks at OB offices if they're going to keep you there that long AND take blood. I had an appointment on Wednesday that went 2.5 hours. I was dying.

I would start taking multiple doses if you think it's helping even a little bit! Can't hurt anything. I bought the preggie pops with B6 and they are awesome. Snacks wouldn't have done me any good because I wasn't allowed to eat. They were testing my blood sugar. I am free now!! I am going to find food. I knew today's appt was going to take a while but I did not expect to be here til noon!! My appt was at 930! The midwife did tell me that if I ever had an appt with a specific doctor to make sure I brought a snack and something to entertain myself. Lol.

I have been thinking I probably need new bras. Which sucks. Do not want to spend money. I thought I would be good for a while yet but the one bigger bra I have the underwire broke and it was pinching me. So now I feel forced.

I am not looking forward to looking for new bras. Last time I was pregnant I ended up crying in the dressing room with my mom and the lady that worked at the store. I couldn't find anything that was fitting right and my skin was chaffing from trying so many bras on.
But as for this weekend, we had friends come over Friday and we had dinner and played a couple of games. DD was so excited when she found out they were coming over...she told me their son is her best friend. Today we just did some grocery shopping and I went to dinner with my bff. Then got home just in time for GOT.

Working doesn't sound fun either! Was there a reason they switched your shifts? The shed didn't really end up happening. There's a bit more to it than we thought so we got some supports put down. I didn't want a half finished vinyl shed sitting in our backyard when we don't have a fence.... so we shall try again another day...and start earlier in the day.

My old job was an office job and we weren't open on the weekends. So now that I am in the hospital I have to work weekends. It's ok on one hand but also sucks. I signed up for it.

DD and I went to a baby shower for a college friend yesterday (2 hour drive) but it was SO fun because 2 of our other friends told that they are pregnant and due in March/April! So that's 4 of us pregnant at the same time....we told our non pregnant friends to not drink the water😂

cornpop I'm sorry you're having a rough time with nausea but that mint inhaler thing looks really cool! I bought it for my friend who has awful car sickness if she isn't driving! I hope it brings you some relief.

cornpop hope you feel better soon! add me to the list of people who need new bras. its kind of crazy how fast it happened - seemed like overnight to me. busy weekend of running around. went to see a friends new baby and my sil ended up having hers on friday a couple of weeks early. i got plenty of newborn snuggles in😀. it's pretty crazy out of the 7 people i know that have had babies/are still pregnant recently, 6 of them are girls! my other sil is team green, but she has a strong feeling it's a girl. makes me feel like i'm going to have a boy - i know it doesn't work that way, but it would be nuts to have a streak of 8 girls! not much going on here. this is the last week my h has off before he starts his new job. i feel like we haven't gotten to do anything fun this month at all! i think we might head to the state fair thursday or friday.

I also need new bras. I'm trying to make mine work for as long as possible but not sure that's going to be much longer.
We told my immediate family this past weekend and got the best reaction from all of them. They're all so happy and excited. This will be grandchild #9 for my parents. My ILs had guests all weekend that we didn't want to tell so we're telling them on Friday instead and also probably doing our FB announcement. It's getting hard to keep it from people because of how sick I've been so I'm just going for it.

I stopped wearing bras last pregnancy and I only wore sleeper bras after when I was nursing. I need to invest in some better ones, I hate bra shopping though. ::sigh::

So a couple weeks ago I posted that I was annoyed with my coworker who was telling everyone she is pregnant. Well, she's not. She apparently has no idea how her body works. Or how a pregnancy test works.

I ended up telling my boss this morning that I'm pregnant. I had a feeling she knew anyway and I have to switch WFH days and was really hoping if I told her, she'd tell me to just WFH 3 days instead of switching and doing 2 still. Spoiler alert, she didn't.
But she was not at all surprised. I barely got the words "So, I'm sure you're not going to be surprised" out when she yelled "NOPE, YOU'RE PREGNANT!" I thought it was because I've been sick and called out a couple times but apparently she already spotted a bump! I can't believe she could already tell.
