Ugh, i'm sorry. I'm up nursing J and was just coming here to ask how it was going, I know you tired something new yesterday. Go to sleep trtlcrzy kids! Thanks. It's currently just past 4am and girlfriend has been up since like 3:30. She settles down and is quiet if I go in and sit next to her but that's not fixing the problem. Instead I get to listen to her cry. Hopefully it doesn't last too much longer. I'm mad at myself for waiting this long to do this. What method are you trying? Are the girls still sharing a room?

Good news is Jack doesn't like poop. Bad news is Jack ate poop. His own. To be clear. Omg. Say what now? Typical man. Can't keep his hands off his penis.

trtlcrzy, we went through this a few weeks ago with Charlie. He just wanted me in the room and then he would stop crying. I was thinking the 18 month sleep regression, come early? Then I just as we were figuring that out, like I posted last night, he stopped needing me and started waking and noticing Josie and wanting to play. These phases are enough to make me crazy. I hope it doesn't last long for you.

trtlcrzy when LO was little and not sleeping through the night our pedi recommend that dh go and check on LO when he cried. I guess LO would smell the breastmilk on me and then want to eat even if he wasn't hungry. If dh went in and couldn't calm him down then I would go in. It took a few weeks but we started getting much longer stretches.

Atticus insists they need bunk beds (he will have the top, "'cause he's bigger"), and I'm thinking it might be fun to do that once we are ready to transfer X out of the crib. Cher that's great news. Hopefully you get to go home when you want to. I'm not worried about going home. I love it here and would stay forever. I just want him out of the NICU and back in the nursery.

CIO-extinction. Although I, and DH ended up going in there at different times in the MOTN. H is sleeping downstairs in an unfinished room.

I'm going to give this sleep training method through the weekend and if it doesn't work by then, then we will switch to the sleep sense solution. I'm just hoping this works quickly.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Save for a few of these phases, I find that it's relatively easy (or maybe it's easy bc I stressed so much about it). Anyway, I find the mornings more challenging than the evenings or overnights bc they both don't need to wake up at the same time, so unless I was able to go in and steal Charlie at his very first waking sound, Josie would wake up in the am as well.

It's probably going to be fine. I always anticipate any transition to be a big deal and things end up going smoothly. We are going to keep a PNP in our room JIC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
