Orangetheory this morning, French toast for breakfast, healthy little pizza for lunch (with unpictured pineapple chunks on the side. We have a housewarming party tonight so I'm having a second "cheat" meal this week but it shouldn't be too hard to keep it in check since I volunteered to drive. Tomorrow is a rest and food prep day. I feel like the first week has gone fast and I definitely feel a difference already!

dashook I am drooling over cauliflower fried rice. It's happening this week!! I obviously finally read the thread and am very inspired by all that you ladies are doing. So proud of you guys for your energy and dedication.

We went on a walk with both kids & the dogs. A lady we talk to occasionally was put walking her dog & she asked me if I was pregnant again.
No, bitch.
I did more ab exercises when I got home.
Damn you diastasis recti. Damn you.

So, I'm back up 3lbs. I'm not sure if that's accurate but I'm going to use that as my starting weight. I'm not happy with the number at all but it's motivation to get back on track. I don't really have much going on this month so I should be able to stay on track with my goals!

I'm two weeks into my daily challenge so far and yesterday I walked almost 2 miles with my dog. The scale is not moving but I think I feel a difference already, maybe. I probably should have taken before pictures.
Food-wise I did pretty good. We started strong with making salads for lunch but we ran out of stuff and didn't have time to go grocery shopping. That is still one of our biggest issues. We don't have a set schedule for grocery shopping so we sometimes go days without food and end up eating out. I know this isn't going to be ok as C gets older and eats with us.

goldenlove try not to focus on the scale. I only lost 2-3 lbs, yet my before/after pictures show significant change.

I'm just going to jump in here.
I started a 30 day diastasis recti challenge yesterday. It's simple, gentle, targeted exercises every day to help heal my abs and pelvic floor. I'm hoping it will help with my stomach issues. DH is doing it with me to help keep me on track.
I'm also implementing a low to no refined sugar diet. I'm not doing 100% clean eating, but I'm using the clean eating shopping lists to create meals and dinners that will significantly reduce the amount of processed food we eat and reduce sugar intake. The biggest thing is I'm cutting out almost all sweets. I'm going to find some healthy "treats" to make and some of the "healthy" ice cream options are ok. It's not forever, but at least while I'm doing my DR exercise challenge. Then I can add in cookies etc as a true every so often treat.
My weight this morning was 167. I'd like to lose about 35 lbs at least.
Oh, I'm also going to try to get to the gym at least twice a week. If I can get out and do more, great, but I think twice is really realistic right now.

I did back and abs today. They are short little videos but I still worked up quite a sweat lol. And specifically chose those because no jumping around or anything.

You got this waitwhat! That breakfast looks great. classymrsa sounds like you have a solid plan! I'm cruising along. Today was tricky because of the depo and I didn't get to eat between 9 a.m. and 2:15. So now it's 10 of 8 at night and I still have two meals left (post-workout meal and dinner). I don't really want to skip any because I need to keep my calories high enough for nursing. But I may have to and hopefully it won't be a regular occurrence. Off to do my workout! And I have Orangetheory in the morning too!

Today is the first day of fall semester fitness. So I'm waiting for Pilates. Thursdays I will have a 20/20/20 class with cardio, strength, and flexibility in one session. Had a good breakfast of sautéed veggies and greens with an egg.
Probably sounds like I am on track, but the kids' nursed basically the entire night so I had a post-breakfast Dr. Pepper to wake up. Soooooo. Almost?

starbuck are you anti artificial sweetener? I've found that Dr Pepper 10 is much better at tasting like a full sugar version compared to the full diet DP And now I want one. Badly.

I managed to not eat any of the cookies, donuts, muffins, or cinnamon roll bites at playgroup today. So hard.
We went shopping today for the week. I'm pretty proud of my haul. So many fruits and veggies and all lean meats. Nothing packaged has over 5g of sugar per serving and only one item (cereal) has added sugar. I'm currently finishing a slice of Mediterranean pizza (tomato slices, onion, olives, artichoke hearts, and feta). Tonight I'm making veggie stir fry with brown rice.

Sounds so delicious classymrsa!! I feel like after a few days of eating clean I start really craving the fresh stuff over processed foods. The kicker is always the prep, though. Nothing worse than being hungry and realizing you still have to make it lol. You're doing amazing!! That's awesome waitwhat!! You're really kicking ass. dashook how are you doing today lady? danib how's your hip feeling?

dashook how are you doing today lady? Hey girl! I'm good. I had my best day yet in Orangetheory this morning, heart rate zone wise. My coach said my bar graph after class today shows that my heart is getting stronger because I'm recovering more quickly. I'm not caught up in randoms but how are you doing? Getting any sleep?
