What are you doing/cooking/eating for the spring holidays?
We go to my aunt's. My cousin and I always coordinate dessert responsibilities. She's making lemon squares and I'm bringing fancy chocolates and Cadbury egg cookies.

I feel better about being on veggie tray duty 😆 Though I volunteered for it, so it's fine.

I'm making a lemon bundt cake because I have bought 2 lemon cake mix boxes in last couple weeks. Usually fam comes over, some easter, breakfast, then egg hunt then we start on cooking a ham, potato salad, deviled eggs But this year the guys want lamb stew so idk how that's all gonna come together

I’m hosting my family on Saturday. No one wanted traditional dinner because we all have a least one more get together on Sunday. So I’m doing a brunch theme. Homemade cinnamon rolls, bagels with cream cheese, overnight maple pecan steel cut oats, fruit salad, breakfast casserole, and make your own breakfast “pizzas” on English muffins with sausage, bacon, eggs, cheese, and veggies. Then juice, milk, coffee and Prosecco cocktails to drink. My mom is bringing coconut cake for my brother’s birthday.
For the in-laws I’m supposed to bring a jello salad and a pie. I think I’m doing the jello salad that is jello, pudding and whipped cream mixed together. Pie I ordered French silk from Village Inn because I’ll be tired of baking after Sat.

I have a hankering for a really good carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, so I might try that. I’ve never made one, though. No one but me will want nuts in it, but I might add them anyway.

Also this is the first year where none of the kids believes in the Easter bunny anymore. So no egg hunt. I’m lost. I still bought candy and silly string for my niece and nephews and chocolate bunnies for my siblings in memory of my dad. (He always bought us one growing up.)

I’m making smoked salmon dip for an appetizer then eating at my parents house. They’re making ham and scalloped potatoes. My sister is making dessert.

I am reluctantly hosting lunch so I am keeping it easy on myself: apps are cheese/crackers, chips/dip, kielbasa, cinnamon streusel French toast casserole, a frittata or quiche, bacon, salad of some sort, a deli platter, some finger sandwiches and a potato salad. Dessert will be an Easter candy charcuterie board and a raspberry shortcake bar.

We leave Easter Sunday evening for universal and I’m so excited!
We are celebrating Easter beforehand. I’m hosting my ILs on Saturday. We’re having London broil, cheesy potatoes and salad. I’m making Cadbury mini eggs cookie bars for dessert. We will also have hot cross buns that I’m making for Good Friday but I always have some extras.
We’re going to my cousins on Easter and I’m bringing macaroon egg nests for dessert there.

My parents live 2000 miles away and my in-laws do not cook or host or contribute so I make every single holiday meal for them. This time I decided to do breakfast instead of lunch/dinner. So we'll be having scrambled eggs, deviled eggs from the ones my son colors, bacon, sausage, hash browns, fruit, muffins, smoothies. My best friend is hosting dinner so I'll go over there. She is very sad about her foster child of 2 years returning home, so she made DS an Easter basket.

I don't wanna completely host both meals but its also dh birthday and he wants to mostly stsy home cause he's a fuddy duddy.
Also wanna see little guy do egg hunt cause we hid 8 eggs in the living room and he was squeeling with excitement. He hid eggs for me but then told me where they were lol

The weather is iffy on my end. Not sure if it’s going to rain or not. It’s going to be chilly too. Hope it’s just chilly and it doesnt rain so that the kids can do the egg hunt.
I’m hosting this year. The menu is chile rellenos and Birria with the usual sides of rice, beans, and pasta salad. I usually throw frozen meatballs in a crockpot with a baby rays bbq. It’s a favorite. Might do hot chocolate so we have something warm to sip too.

We're doing brunch this year. My ILs, two of their friends, one of MH's friends with no local family, and my best friend and her family are coming; we'll have 16-18 in total.
We do an egg hunt though none of my girls are in believing age any longer. The teenagers are the MOST into it! LOL
I'm making a ham & biscuits, chicken skewers with Tzatziki (store bought for both), and having mini-cheesecakes and macarons for dessert options. We'll have mimosa stuff, sparkling juice and coffee. My friend is bringing a breakfast casserole and soda/water bottles/juice boxes.

We order from Nothing Bundt Cakes for Easter. The year the store opened here MIL bought like 20 of the mini cakes. My niece and I pretty much ate no dinner so we’d have room to sample all the flavors. It was the best.

My dad is smoking ribs and a pork butt and doing the typical sides for that. I'm adding a Mac n cheese and carrot cake.
Then we will have some traditional Portuguese dishes like lamb and peas, folar (Cake with an egg baked into it), Jordan almonds and Jordan pine nuts, etc.
And my local cake lady made adorable iced sugar cookies that are just iced white and came with an edible paint palette so the kids can color the cookies themselves. It's so cute! We don't have any white eggs so this will do instead!
