lol I wish! But alas, no. We should be able to sell it again quickly. I got hold of their agent and basically they decided that they wanted a completely move-in ready home and the few projects around here (master bath, age of furnace) are too much. Oh well. We are moving to try to schedule an open house and maybe we can swing a multiple-offer type of situation. That would be great! I hope it gets under contract again quickly for you. H and I were just discussing moving. Well...it was more like me begging him. Your neck of the woods has always been on our radar of places we'd move to one day. Ahem... the house directly behind me is for sale...

Speaking of food, my Mongolian BBQ sucked as expected. I didn't fill my bowl nearly enough, it didn't have any flavor and I accidentally added scallops instead of shrimp. The salad bar wasn't very good either. The new girl had her bowl stacked up a mile high. You can tell she's fresh out of college.

I for one would be happy to move to a new place every few years. Unfortunately, we have the man holding us down with a pesky mortgage and business loan. Lame.

I've been in a funk lately and I'm sick of it so I just signed up to get my advanced life support certification and started the process to become certified in the OR. The first will be a breeze, the second not so much. It's risky because the fail rate is really high and you can only take the test twice, but I think I need to do this to feel more like myself.

sophiegrace I have a feeling you're the type of person who will throw themself into a certification like that and there is no chance you would fail! You would rock that and feel like something other than only a mom (not that there is anything wrong with being a mother, but doing something professionally would probably have a different impact on your self image - I really hope I didn't offend anyone with that statement!) Also, why begging to move? Do you hate it there?

I have left her twice since she was born and combined was less than two hours. I kind of do hate it here a bit. We are able to live a much better life and for that I'm thankful, but I think if we had an easy way out we would take it in a heartbeat.

kleigh how are your twins playing together? I sometimes feel like other than making sure they aren't getting into trouble they don't need me lol. They pretty much just crawl around and play together nonstop until they exhaust themselves and go for a nap. Rinse and repeat with some eating and diaper changes thrown in. NCU but, they do this maybe 50% of the time (which is SOOOO CUTE) but I feel like they're mostly a hazard to each other because they trample each other to get to things and pull each other down and steal each other's toys (they always want what the other has). Also, the other half of the time I do spend listening to whining bc I'm not holding them. That is not fun but I try to remember it's only a small portion of the day. I actually think they do well with their separation anxiety from me bc they do still have each other on the days I have to go to the office. They whine for a second but my mom says they very quickly turn to each other and engage and they're fine.

We fought naptime hard today. Now we are fighting bedtime.
There is not enough alcohol in the world to battle baby sleep issues.

College me would have been so proud to see me pound my beer as quickly as I just did to get me through bedtime H has been referring to the days he gets home before 6 as half days. Today is not a half day. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
