How is everyone’s running going? Mine is limping along, just KOKO. I was doing well, but I missed my 18 miler because I was supposed to do it the day after my flu shot and I barely made it 5.5 miles before I quit. Then we went away for the long weekend and now I'm back to work and everyone is back to work and school as normal (plus masks and some distancing). So now I have limited time to run, so I'm kind of just, done training I guess. At least long runs. I can still get up to 5-6 in the time I have to run, so quality over time and miles I guess. Back to 4am runs during the week. Oof.

We are also back to the usual school/work/activities schedule so need to find time to regularly run again. Will also be early in the morning but hopefully not 4am 😳

The weather is finally perfect but I’m battling a sinus thing so right now doesn’t seem ideal. Hoping to get back to it next week!

I have my marathon tomorrow and my training has been comple shit for the last four weeks. It's going to be an ugly race, but I'm going to give it my best than die on the drive home.

I have my marathon tomorrow and my training has been comple shit for the last four weeks. It's going to be an ugly race, but I'm going to give it my best than die on the drive home. How did it go?? 5:30:54 It's was raining and gross the whole time. And it was a point to point race, so when the headwind kicked in around mile 4 it stuck around almost the whole race. A lot slower than I expected and I debating tapping out a few times. I was totally miserable, but my kids were at the finish line dying to see me, so I suffered through. H tossed DD1 over the corral gate at the finish chute and we finished hand in hand which she was so excited about, so it made it worth it.

Hello! Haven’t been through in a while. Trying to maintain some schedule as my SIL and I plan to do the turkey trot 5k again this year. Logged 4 miles today. Beautiful weather!

I ran today for the first time in months; 2 miles, at a slow ass pace. My love of running has dwindled and I am not sure if I want to try to get it back. Life has just been so hard lately. There really is no excuse for me not to but I am finding it hard to motivate myself. My Fitbit died taking all of what motivation I had apparently.

Pretty sure I might come up juuuuuust short on my mileage goal for the year and it's bugging me. I need to average like 3.5 miles a day everyday until the end of the year to hit it. I'll have to really crank out multiple 5 milers a week otherwise I'm going to miss it by a very slim margin and will definitely be annoyed. But man, running more than 3-4 miles at 4am feels so tough.

I still need over 100 miles right now.

5k on Thanksgiving and 4 miles today. Something going on with my hip/leg/butt. Trying to determine if running helps or is causing the issue.

Once I realized I wasn't going to hit my annual goal I really threw on the breaks. I'll be shocked if I crack 40 miles this month which is unusually low for me.
