I had my dating US on Friday. Baby was measuring 8w3d but they're keeping my due date based on LMP, they said they don't change it unless there's at least a seven day discrepancy. There's only a difference of five days which seems like a lot to me but oh well. HR was 183 and everything looked good. I did have a small cyst on my left ovary but they aren't worried because it's really tiny.

We had our first U/S this morning! Measuring 8w5d, a day or two ahead based on ovulation. Quick little HB at 185 bpm. Cute little head and body, maybe even a little arm nub visible in the profile. So relieved, I feel like I've been holding my breath for a month!

Not my first ultrasound since I had a few at my RE, but I had my first OB appointment yesterday with my new doctor and I loved her!! We did a quick ultrasound and LO was measuring two days ahead at 11w0d with a good HB. I could see him waving his little hand around! Overall, it was a great appointment and I feel like things are on track.

Second ultrasound today! It was just a follow up to confirm my dates because baby was so tiny at the first scan. I'm 10+5 measuring 11+1 and am feeling relieved. We did my NT as well so I won't see baby again until the AS. We told my stepson and he was really happy. I'm feeling very thankful and like this is really real and totally happening.
I'm sending all the best juju to everyone waiting for their scans. Limbo is such a tricky place to be. <3

I am hoping they will do the tiny handheld US again at my next OB appt. At the very least I will beg for the doppler so I know I still have a beating heart in there. I realized yesterday that I am starting to calm down and believe this is real because I wasn't holding my breath and praying for a heartbeat at the beginning of the NT. I went in confident that it would be there. I felt so calm and it wasn't that relieved feeling like usual when they found the heartbeat.

nuggetrn when my midwife told me I wouldn't have another US until the anatomy scan I wanted to cry. But I do go in every four weeks (so two more times before anatomy) and they'll use the Doppler to get a heartbeat which made me feel a little better. Hopefully that will happen for you too!

I'm trying to be optimistic but PGAL is killing me. Had a good us yesterday at 6w5d and baby measuring a little ahead (7w) and hb 145bpm.
It's hard to get to excited bc both of my recent losses were around 9 weeks and first us were fine. I feel like I'm holding my breath for 3 weeks until my next us.

I just had what ended up being my dating ultrasound after a scary Wednesday night. Everything turned out fine. LO is measuring 7w 4 days (today, it was 7w3d yesterday) with a heart rate of 162. So I finally have an edd of 4/9.
Long story below:
****************TW: ER VISIT/Bleeding*******************************
On Wednesday, I was getting my girls ready for bed and all the sudden felt a gush. I went to the bathroom to find myself soaked in bright red blood. MH took me to the ER, they don't have u/s or the ability to do bloodwork here in my tiny town, but told me to prepare for a miscarriage with that much blood. They also called my OB, he said call in the morning and they would work me in for an appointment.
I spent Wednesday not sleeping at all. I went to work Thursday because I needed the distraction. I was only spotting by Thursday. I called the OB office, they got me in for the afternoon. I continued working right up until I needed to leave for the appointment. I have to travel for appointments so it's about 1/2 hour. This was my first OB appointment so I had to do some paperwork and history but then they took me back for an u/s first thing which I appreciated. After being told repeatedly at the ER that I was miscarrying, I was not hopeful at all but I got the best surprise when the first thing to pop up on the screen was the obvious little heart flicker. Doctor confirmed that everything looked normal except I have a subchorionic hematoma. Doctor said I might be bleeding for a couple of weeks or maybe even longer but gave me instructions to call if there ever was bright red bleeding again.
Overall, I'm very relieved and happy. I'm trying to take things easy so hopefully the bleeding will subside but no luck yet. I'm still spotting. I'm still worried of course and just feel very paranoid now. I'm trying to remain positive though. The hematoma was low and didn't seem to be too close to baby so hopefully that can just go away on its own quickly.

I did not know. I'm really happy to see you had a good scan. You should get your cute dog avatar back and share your news on O17 if/when you are ready. 🤞 Fingers crossed things keep heading in the right direction for you. 💗🍾

rebeccabunch Thanks! I meant to tell you, sorry! And I don't know what the hell happened to my avatar. It still shows up in TCF so I don't know why it didn't come over, and I'm always on mobile so I haven't figured it out

I had my first ultrasound today - I'm 6w4d, and baby measured 6w4d exactly. Heart rate was 123bpm - I think it was slightly faster, but it's fine.
I go back in 4 weeks for another sono, and first tri screening.

Mine was today. Measured 8+4, which was right in the middle of what I thought. The Dr is going to keep my EDD at April 15, since it's only one day off. Heartbeat was 165. Dr did give me a prescription for some nausea meds, since I told her I've been having trouble keeping food down.

I finally get to post here! 11+3, but measuring a couple of days ahead. OB said we could change EDD, but LMP and O match 4/30, so we're sticking with it. Strong HB of 162, so I'm relieved and feel like I can get excited now.
