Weeks/Due Date - 24+2 / June 6
The Good - getting closer to being finished at work and I absolutely cannot wait. As much as I love my job, I've been unhappy with my workplace for a very long time now, so getting this time off can't come soon enough. I expect I'll be done by the end of the month (appointment with my doctor is on the 27th).
The Bad - little dude decided to start punching me in the cervix yesterday. I had completely forgotten about that sensation and it took me quite by surprise. Hopefully it doesn't become a regular punching area because it is not pleasant. Also I've been getting really really full lately. Like I'll be super hungry and make food, but then halfway through it I just feel so full and if I eat even the slightest bit too much I'm left feeling sick. I had a big salad yesterday for lunch at work (figuring salad isn't super duper filling and it was a nice healthy option besides my usual carb overload) and I literally could not eat dinner. Which sucked because it was Taco night at my mom's and I just sat there watching everyone else eating, and kept saying I'd have one in a little while but every time I got up to make one the thought of eating make me feel sick.
Milestones/Appointments - first viability milestone was Saturday!!! Ultrasound on Tuesday.
To Do List -

Weeks/Due Date - 25 +2/ May 30
The Good - first physio appt is on Friday (very excited for that!). Made a decision on getting the Britax b-lively stroller (went to check it out this weekend and even my H really liked it).
The Bad - my DS is sick, first we thought flu (😭) but now it seems to have morphed into some congested barking cough type thing which sounds horrible and I don’t want to catch that either. Family doctor appt tomo anyways so I’ll ask her what she thinks.
Still can’t do much in terms of walking long distances. Went shopping on Saturday for not if the afternoon and basically crippled myself and had to lay low that night.
Milestones/Appointments - just my monthly check up with OB in beginning of March. When does it move to bi-weekly? I forget.
To Do List - clean out a cupboard in the kitchen to make room for baby bottles and pump parts. I’m itching to do stuff (organize what we have from DS and set up nursery but it seems too early!).

Weeks/Due Date - 21w1d, 6/28
The Good - still riding high after my anatomy scan. I’ve been feeling baby moving a lot more over the last week which is also great. My pelvis really has no pain right now and I’m hoping it continues.
The Bad - my motivation level is still really low. I’ll get a burst of energy for like an hour or two a couple times a week, otherwise I just want to be a couch potato. Patience level is low.
Milestones/Appointments - no appts till next month
To Do List - the big girls new furniture should be arriving over the next few days so rearranging furniture and assembling the new stuff. I’m also working to move more toys to the basement because I’m tired of looking at them in the living room. I finally got the kitchen island cleaned off so keeping that clutter free. I need to take a load to donate as some point this week as well.

aries I already started and I’m due a month after you. It’s so nice deciding if I can get rid of stuff that won’t work for this baby. I was thinking about going through the next tote of clothes but I’m trying to not get ahead of myself and I’m going to wait to see how this babe grows.

Weeks/Due Date - 25 weeks/May 30
The Good - I found out I am slightly anemic at the end of last week, so I started iron supplements and have been feeling slightly less run down already.
The Bad - Nothing too much, other than I've already outgrown a few of my shirts. I'm really trying to limit what maternity clothes I buy, so that's less options for the next few months.
Milestones/Appointments - Next appointment is in the first week of March. That was only 3 weeks after my last one, so I guess they're already getting closer spaced. I'm so glad that I finally work near my doctor so it's not an ordeal like it has been in the past.
To Do List - Same things as last week...

Weeks/due date - 24 weeks tomorrow/June 9 Symptoms - somehow I seem to have pulled a muscle in my right butt cheek? It feels fine most of the time but has been bothering me when I exercise. The good - great family day today since we were all off. Went to children’s museum and out to lunch. An old couple at lunch told us how well behaved our kids were, which we don’t hear very often given the activity level of the two boys, so that was nice. The bad - Not too much. Still large I also feel full fast, danib, and feel uncomfortable after dinner a lot of nights. But at least that makes me cut back on any evening snacking. Milestones/appts - OB appt and glucose tests next Thursday. To do - need to get more serious about getting the stuff we need and we now have a firm date for potty training DS2 - the first weekend in March. We’re going on a little ski trip the prior weekend so don’t want to deal with it then, but we really need to get this knocked out. Random question - does your doctor have you fast before the 1-hour glucose test? Mine does not, but I was reading some website that said you should. I will of course listen to my doctor, but I was just wondering.

sdlaura you don't have to fast before the 1-hour test. Only the 3-hour one requires fasting.

I feel like I haven't checked in for awhile!
Weeks/Due Date - 19w1d / July 12. Baby is the size of a hot dog (lol)!
The Good - I have started feeling baby movement! It has been just some pokes and light kicks, but tonight baby did a somersault or some big roll and that felt crazy!
The Bad - I'm like 1st tri tired again. I feel like I cannot get enough sleep! Also random bouts of nausea, but usually some ginger ale will bring it down.
Milestones/Appointments - anatomy scan this Friday 2/21! I'm getting antsy! DS gets to come and he is pretty excited as well!
To Do List - neighborhood bulk trash pickup is this weekend, so we'll finally be throwing out the mattress that is in the room that will be the nursery so it feels like the first big step in baby preparation! However, that mattress was the 1st one that H & I bought together, so I am having feelings about tossing it, lol. I sometimes hate being such a sentimental person!

Well 3:30 this morning DS1 woke me up Because he peed in his bed. I was having super weird dreams so I was actually ok with waking up, but the getting out of bed to change sheets part sucked. By the time I got back to bed I was wide awake. 4:30am I finally start feeling tired again. Except I'm also starting to feel hungry. By 5 the hunger is too much and I have to get up again to get some food. Hopefully I can get an hour of sleep now before the boys are up for todya. I suspect today will not be good for me.

trtlcrzy, I want to start going through totes now but with being team green I never know if i'll need the clothes i've saved (even though I know I won't need them!). I kept a lot of worn out hand me down clothes from family because what if I need an old shirt for daycare or something ? Except I have so many DS never even wore them all so it's safe to donate. Ugh I swear I am not a hoarder but with knowing we wanted more kids it was easier to store than donate at the time. Maybe I could start there since I could do that now... txaggie08,how did you find out about the iron deficiency? I know I always have low blood/iron but am not good at taking a supplement since it's not enticing to be willingly causing constipation. twopeas, how old is your DS? That's awesome he gets to come to the scan - I was thinking DS would have loved it (for the first 2 mins) but there is no way he would have sat through the whole thing haha! DS had a fever last night and then was up sick every hour last night with a really sore throat blahhh so tired. Good thing i'm off today. His cough sounds different than a normal cold, more in his chest. Going to the doctor soon to make sure it's nothing too serious.

I know I’m not going to need any fleece sleepers in the middle of the summer, lol.

Bad news: I was diagnosed with influenza this morning. They prescribed me tamiflu because I’m pregnant. The girls haven’t come down with a fever yet but I bet they will soon. We are supposed to have DD2’s birthday party this weekend so I will probably have to cancel that, which sucks.

DS1 and DS2 have birthdays 2 months apart, but they were in totally different sizes during the seasons. DS1 gained like 10ozs + a week for the first few months and was like 30lbs at 6 months, whereas DS2 gained like 3ozs a week if we were lucky and didn't hit 30lbs until he was like 18 months old. Ya never know.

danib that does make sense! We do have the storage space and once I bring those bins down I don’t want them just sitting there, staring at me waiting to be organized haha. And to be fair I did get rid of all the travel ones (beautiful Ottawa, Niagara Falls is the place to be etc etc). That is so true about the seasons too (this baby will be opposite DS who was a January baby), I saw this woman with an awesome car seat cover at church on Sunday and was looking on amazon for it then I realized I prob won’t be needing that this time around 😂. So maybe I’ll just organize and get rid of as they go through the sizes.

I am a little apprehensive about bringing him because he doesn't have the longest attention span and he'll have sooo many questions I'm sure but H really wants to make it like this special family thing I think. I'm like, "H. Don't you remember this from last time? It's going to be long and boring for a kid who doesn't know what he's looking at!" We'll bring his tablet and hope for the best, I guess! He's a pretty well behaved kid in general so I'm sure it'll be fine... 😬

aries I had low platelets at a previous blood draw, so they did a follow up blood draw. I'm thinking they threw in the red blood cell count (if it's not standard to check - I have no idea) because I'm taking Flintstones vitamins as my prenatal. It's the only one that I can tolerate, and I know it made the NP at my OB's office nervous, so she may have asked for it to be included.

I’ll go through the others as I get to them.

My kids are supposed to have school tomorrow but I’m going to wait and see how they are in the morning before taking them. Both of them have a cough and runny nose but no fever yet.

I’m currently taking a bath because I love to do that when I’m sick. My almost 4 year old came into the bathroom to talk to me and as she was leaving she gave me a concerned look. I asked what was wrong and she said I have black things on my boobies. She was talking about my nipples (which aren’t black but darker than normal). I laughed. Kids are funny.

trtlcrzy I’m so sorry you have the flu! Two of my kids had it and it was super mild - I hope that’s the case for you too! aries I believe testing for anemia is a normal part of the pregnancy blood draws - at least it has been in all of my pregnancies/

My 5 yo asked me the other day why “these”, as he touched my boobs, were getting bigger. He said they’re getting jigger every day in the shower. So funny. Also, sorry about the flu!!! Take it easy until you feel a bit of energy return!

sdlaura and txaggie08 thanks for the info, I’ll have to check my first pregnancy bloodwork and see if that was on the req. Edit: just checked my health record online and yes I did get tested for it on the initial pregnancy bloodwork. It was a 11 and the normal range is 10-29. So I guess low but not too bad? I should start taking iron probably.
