I gained 45 with my first and 30 with my second, both of which is was at a double digits gain by the start of my second trimester. I lost it all both times, and I was even down an additional 13lbs from my starting weight with DD1 when I got pregnant this time. I still struggle immensely with the gain though, mentally. Yupp. Its rough. I'm probably going to throw out a bunch of size 6 pants soon too because I never see myself back down to where I was when I could live at the gym, before kids and marriage. But I told myself that it is ok, and if I ever get back into that kind of shape, the pants that I own now probably won't be in style and I can just go spend money on new ones. For now I'll accept my mom pants This is why we own a treadmill and I workout at 4am. My gym going days are far gone for the foreseeable future. Sigh. Congrats on your ultrasound!! Yay happy little bean!

I figure when I no longer have to rush out of work for daycare pick up I can get a membership again and go at lunch.

I gained 28 lbs with DS, which is pretty darn good and just 3 lbs over my personal weight gain goal of 25 lbs. Apparently the average weight gain for pregnant women in my city is between 50 and 80 lbs!!! 🙀

I though I was turning a corner, but nope. I've been fighting some serious nausea all day. Gah, so over it.

What are the best sign ups for samples and baby stuff? I know about Enfamil, Similac, and the registries. Anything else good that's not going to spam my email?

My belly straight popped. Hello bump. Me too. A kindergartner asked me if there's a baby in my belly Friday, so I guess it's pretty obvious!

I'm still hiding it from my students until Wednesday, though it's very tough. I leave school early tomorrow for my NT and if it looks good I'll finally tell them Wednesday so I can dress for the belly I have now.

I'm hungry but not hungry at the same time. I want food, but the first bite is gross. I'm not nauseous or gagging, but I spit out food. Except for sweets and carbs. I can eat bread, rice, and dessert all day.

The bloat belly is pretty prominent over here. 😂 Only 7 weeks, so it’s obviously not baby, but with this being my 5th pregnancy, my body has given up on trying to hide it. Same!

I can't suck my belly in any more XD which is kind of funny considering that I STILL haven't gained weight. However, I guess my uterus is about the size of a grapefruit already so pushing everything up and out.

The top of my bump is still soft but the bottom is hard. So clearly the top is still bloat and pushed up guts. Pretty par for the course here. My bloat and bump always just meld together at some point.
Fourth pregnancy, two C-sections, my body is very lolnope at trying to contain this bump.

I'm having awful hot flashes since, probably right around implantation. 4 days now got BFP on Sunday. I know I'm earlier than a lot of you but I will be delivering in October

Meds are helping keep the sickness in check. I’m staying steady at -5lbs, at least for now. Pretty much all food is gross to me, but especially anything sweet. I also keep getting cravings for Jimmy John’s sandwiches in the morning and am irrationally angry that they’re not open at 9:00am. 😂 If you have Wegmans in your area they will absolutely make you a sub at 9am. Speaking from experience, of course, lol.

NT scan went great! Baby was kicking and punching all over the place. Got my NIPT drawn, got offer progesterone butt shots that I politely declined. I check all the boxes for being required to be offered, but I'm in a camp where stats show it doesn't actually make a difference, so no thank you. Should have my NIPT results in the next week or so.

How exciting, cnf! Do you plan to find out the sex when you get your NIPT results? Yes! We should know by the end of next week!

Same for me @speedy. Makes me feel so out of shape.
I had my 12 week appointment today. She was going by my dating ultrasound date which makes me 12 weeks 4 days(due 9/4). Heart rate was 159, she told me this baby was trouble because it kept moving away whenever she got the heartbeat. I got blood drawn for the genetic testing, should hear in 2 weeks.
Only bad part was I had blood in my urine, but I've had that pretty routinely for 3ish years. I've been sent to a urologist, but he said it was such a small amount (within normal range) and my age and no other symptoms that he didn't even do any further testing. I just hope they don't make me go through all that again since I tend to have health anxiety at times.
Oh also I've gained 9lbs so far.

I’m open to any “morning sickness” suggestions. I have it from like noon to 7pm and I’m over it. I go to the doctor Friday.

Just got back from meeting my new OB and I really like her. She was surprised at how far up my uterus already is; between my csection scar and my belly button! Whoever says it doesn't come out of your pelvis until after 12 weeks is a liar. She made a comment about growing, lol. I also learned that while they don't really push for VBA2C, ACOG says it's ok so they roll with it. We're planning to talk more in depth at some point but tentatively the plan is schedule a section but if I go before they'll let me roll with an attempt to VBAC. I've never made it to 39 weeks, so I guess we'll see. All good though!

I'm trying to figure out when my c section would be lol. They only do scheduled sections on Wednesday at the hospital I go to. My due date is September 10 which is a Thursday. So, like, would they do it the day before I hit 40 weeks? Or on the 2nd which would have me at 38w6d 🕵🤰

It's only the difference of one day. I'm sure plenty of people end up in your boat if they only do scheduled sections once a week.

Ours won’t do anything scheduled before 39wks unless medically necessary. My OB wants me to induce at 39wks this time, which is fiscal year end close. And I’m an accountant. 🤦♀️

At least knowing the day of the week narrows things down somewhat. Yup. Trying to think positive 😂

I’ll more than likely be induced 3-4 weeks before my due date, whatever my official one ends up being. So mid-September ish. If we get thrown a wild card and it ends up being twins, it might be earlier than that. I’m antsy for my ultrasound to make sure everything is good in there and find out my due date for sure! When is your ultrasound? Are you a higher likelihood of twins for some reason?

When is your ultrasound? Are you a higher likelihood of twins for some reason? Still another 10 days out. Not really any things increasing my likelihood for it, so it’s probably just one baby. 😅 I get the “what if it’s twins?” feeling every time while I’m waiting for my ultrasound. My oldest keeps talking about “two babies,” but he’s probably talking about this baby and his little sister (13 months), and I feel so much bigger than I did last time at 7-8 weeks, but that’s probably just 5th pregnancy thing. 🤔 Twins would fun. Hard, but fun, I think, lol. I'm huge for 12 weeks. My OB checked my fundal height yesterday and was totally surprised it was already halfway to my belly button. Fourth pregnancy thing I guess. So same boat!
