Definitely did not want this past weekend to end. I had to go to a bridal shower, but no other plans besides that

Now that L is fully on whole milk, we are able to just take a jug of milk to keep in the fridge at daycare, rather than having to take pre-made bottles or sippy cups. It was so nice to not have to label or prep any bottles or cups last night/this morning!

Zach is getting bit everyday at daycare. They just keep telling me the biter is moving up to the next class next week. I've been more than patient, but it happened twice today, and I'm pissed. It's hard enough to leave bruises. The teacher told me the parents of the biter pinch her when she does it at home. I'm sure she shouldn't have told me that, but WTAF? Who pinches their child?

That’s terrible! To me it makes me understand why the child is biting! My oldest got bit once and they suspended the kid. In the one year old room. It was intense.

This would piss me off. I get that young kuds bite. My 3 year old just bit a 5 year old neighbor kid this weekend. But your kid is being bitten way too often and repeatedly by the same kid. They need to be doing everything possible to work with that kid's parents and keeping both kids separated. You shouldn't have to worry about your child's safety while in someone else's care.

I had to request the day off tomorrow because H's uncle's sister passed away. So my MIL is going to the service. I feel bad because its only our second week of school. 😔

Our weekends have been so busy that I'm feeling continually exhausted. There really hasn't been any downtime to relax and I need to re-charge. This weekend DS has swimming lessons and after that, I'm solo since my H is playing in a golf tournament. Then on Sunday we have a birthday party all morning and my H mentioned having people over to watch football afterwards. We impromptu did that this past Sunday after I was home solo all day with the kids. Four families were over with their kids. It's fun, but it's also a lot. I need time by myself to re-charge and I haven't had much of that.

It's so hard to balance everything in the limited weekend time, though.

We send a sippy cup on Monday, they clean and use it all week, and then we bring it home friday to wash/trade out. It's glorious. I actually took the separate bottle drying rack out to the garage last night!

The thing is people usually end up over at our place anyway because we have a big projector in our garage.

If they'll be in the garage, I would just disappear into the house and off to the bedroom to hide.

It was so nice to not have to label or prep any bottles or cups last night/this morning! No more bottles and forumla is the best. We don't even send milk or cups because they provide them. And even with all the random snacks and stuff I buy him, it's still cheaper than formula.

No bites yesterday and an extra teacher in his room, but the owner was gone by the time I picked them up so I'm not sure of the plan. I guess we'll see this morning.

I haven't tried H on whole milk yet because I still have alot of frozen bm in the freezer. She only drinks 3-4 ozs from the cup. She still nurses morning and night, but I can tell that my supply is decreasing so I'm fine with doing it naturally.

I'm crossing all the things that Charlie doesn't become a biter. He has been nipping at us for months now and still thinks it is hilarious to bite your knee, arm, whatever. We are so stern with him (saying no bite!) and putting him down when he does it, but he thinks it is hilarious 😧. It gets worse when teeth are cutting but he will do it anytime.

DS went through a short biting phase that fortunately didn’t last long. DD really hasn’t bit yet. Hopefully we’ll skip it. She still loves to pull hair though 😒😒

I feel like we have been so busy since the school year started for DS. I’m going back to teaching next year and I can’t imagine how busy it’s going to be with me working again. So grateful we have family close that helps.
