It started to snow really hard right before bedtime so we had to run outside and see.

Ladies. Big news here this morning. Wait for it...........
DD SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🍾🥂🎉🎉🎉🎉
It's probably some kind of fluke, but I sure hope it's the beginning of her nights getting better. It's been a looooooong year of sleep deprivation.

I totally could not even handle that right now 😂 Sorry if I got your hopes up! haha that was just the first thought that went through my head. I would cry forever if I got pregnant again, 2 is plenty for us! My mom had the same age gaps we have (newly 3 and newly 1) but then also had a newborn as well (my brother and I are 12.5 months apart). Can you imagine?!

I don't think I would even survive the first tri sickness of pregnancy with such a young baby.

Oh Lord, I was nervous last week because my period was late and MH hasn't done the final testing yet for his vasectomy. But really I've been dropping my second pump at work more frequently recently, so I'm not surprised it's messing with my cycle. Of course AF showed up with a vengeance over the weekend

C was sleeping through for a couple of weeks and now he's back to two wakeups, luckily the first one is usually before I go to sleep.

We leave for FL this Thurs for a week. I do not want to pack for three people!! I'm a little nervous about how well the kids are going to sleep while we're there. Especially DD cause she's a lousy sleeper to begin with. It will ruin the trip for me a bit if I'm up all night.
Overall though I'm excited to get away! We're staying with family so we'll have some help with the kids. A few days of the trip we're joining my bro and fam and his BIL and fam and staying in a big rental house. We'll have seven kids 6 yrs and under. It's gonna be crazy! We're also planning to take the kids to the Magic Kingdom one day. I'm looking forward to that!

Also, can anyone share any pointers for getting DD to hold still while I try to put her hair up? The best I can do is clip her hair out of her face in front with one of those snap clips. She even wiggles her head all away from me for that! She has enough hair to get a little ponytail sticking up on top, and I'd like to try little pigtails, but I can't get her hold still to do it! I try sitting her in the high chair and giving her a snack, but she still shakes her head away.

Well I dropped from 3 to 2 in the past few weeks and DS2 will be 13 months this weekend. Really need to get MH in for his snip ASAP.

Sometimes I just kind of pin her with my legs and do it as fast as possible.

tbirdloveOnly trick I have is that I would let DD play or watch on my phone while I did her hair. It was hard. She still rarely lets me touch it.

brenna pixiepink24 - ok, so doing their hair is a common difficulty then. I always see cute ponytails but I didn't realize it was such a challenge to achieve them! Haha! Guess I'll just keep trying and working on it. The snap clip is my friend so far. Nymeria hahaha!! I briefly thought of that actually!! 😂

I try do you hairstyles that can last 2 days like braids or a tight bun just so I don't have to do her hair as often haha

We're on day three of no nursing and DD still is so upset in the morning. I can't sit down and hold her at all or she gets pissed that I won't feed her. This is so different than dd1 who loved bottles and wasn't into nursing at all. I'm kind of excited to get new bras soon though because I've been nursing or pregnant pretty much the last 4 years straight, I have no idea what my actual size is though! How long should I wait to let things regulate before shopping?

MH is dying to take me shopping for post-nursing bras brenna. What can I say - my bra/underwear drawer is not the most exciting.

I just said to MH the other day that I was gonna blow a lot of money on new bras when DD is done nursing! That probably won't be for a while though.

Dd2 saw dd1 jump off her bed yesterday so now guess who is also trying to jump off the bed? 😣 She thinks it's so funny! I think dd2 would be a lot more mellow if she didn't have an older sister showing her how to climb and jump off everything 😒

I think this weekend the kids father’s mother will be visiting town. She has yet to meet DS though she lives only 4 hours away. I’m not sure how I feel about it all.

Sleep has been effing terrible this week. I even ended up in the glider for 3 hours last night because it was the only way he'd settle down. He's got a cold, and possibly teething, and the temp keeps jumping around in his room. Not to mention a terrible diaper rash because as soon as anyone in my house starts showing signs of being sick I start drinking lemon tea with apple cider vinegar. Apparently too much lemon tea at once recently - at least I assume that's the cause. I couldn't drink lemon tea while nursing DS1 at all because the next day he'd get a diaper rash so I'm assuming it's the same thing happening now.
I drank absurd amounts of coffee yesterday and it didn't help so I don't have much hope for the mug of coffee sitting next to me today either. Thankfully it's not a crazy week at work (so far, **knock on wood**).

P started walking this week! She has been working on taking steps at home but yesterday when I picked her up from school she was standing and when she saw me she walked over. Now she just seems like such a big kid.
