So we had to go back to the hospital yesterday. My BP was high when the visiting nurse came. Meds got it down so hopefully after some more monitoring we can go home later today. I feel fine. I just want to be home. I miss my other two and feel bad for my husband and my mom.

I'm sorry elodin. BP issues can be so scary! I hope they get it under control so you can get back home soon, I'm glad they are keeping an eye on it.

My H took the older 2 to a birthday party this afternoon, so I’m just home with the baby and it’s like a nice vacation! I’m snacking, painting my nails, watching recorded Dateline episodes and napping. 😂

For those who have had babies, how are you feeling? I’m still a little sore from the birth and my after pains from nursing are no joke. Boobs are painful and nipples are cracking. Just wondering how everyone else is doing.

Just wondering how everyone else is doing. I'm right there with you. My boobs are killing me. It's amazing how you forget how painful the first couple weeks are. I feel like I have two bowling balls hanging on my chest. I've been putting breast milk and then slathering on the nipple cream on top of it. His latch is getting better so I don't have any new cracks thank God. Oh and the cramping while nursing is super fun. My incision pain is minimal thankfully! I'm just taking tylenol for it. He's been a dream baby so far. I'm probably jinxing myself. Lol

elodin I feel like I’ve forgotten a lot of stuff!! When he’s eating, are your boobs getting softer at all? Mine aren’t really. I’m trying to remember if this is normal... gonna wait it out a few days and see if the supply regulates.

But I still have firm painful spots, especially on the sides. It's normal and will get better. I currently have an ice pack in my bra.

Just wondering how everyone else is doing. I actually feel a lot better this time around than after DS...probably due to the short labor and the fact that this one has a tiny head. Nipples are a bit sore, but not bad. She’s latching perfectly, which definitely helps. Stitches are getting a bit itchy/uncomfortable at times, which is super annoying, but overall I can’t complain.
