I have baby fever, bad. It's been this way for a few months but now with ds2's birthday on Saturday and him taking his first steps, its kicked up a notch! Me too. It's strange (and challenging) to put that stage of life behind me when it's been part of it for so long. |

I'm frustrated with nursing. The past 2 days Charlie has barely nursed even for his normal times. He will latch for a minute and then start coughing. He might try a few more times but then he gets frustrated and worked up. I've had clogs the past 2 days.
He went to daycare part of the day today, but we got him early because they said he was fussy and not napping well, so he had one 3 oz bottle there.
Now I'm spending extra time pumping but it's not doing a great job emptying my boobs.
The older he's gotten the more whatever he has gotten about nursing and even milk in general-bottle or sippy cup. He will often spit it out if I give it to him in a cup or push it away. I foresaw us nursing a couple of times a day for a good 6 months, but now I just don't know. I'm assuming he will go back to normal once he kicks this virus, and I guess I'll follow his lead.

I feel guilty, but just yesterday I was thinking how glad I was that he was a year old and that we never have to do infanthood again. I know part of it right now is because he's sick and sleep has gone to hell again. I'm obviously so glad he's here with us, but babies just stress me out.

Happy birthday little potatocakes! That's crazy notmoose! How are they big enough to start walking? DD is just starting to stand a little bit but she is barely pulling up on stuff. It's like she's just not interested in anything physical. She has her own little crawl going on and she's perfectly content with her way of getting around. Idk when to be concerned but I know she's physically capable, she's just not interested. |

I have baby fever but it's not going to happen. My ovaries scream every time I look at a small baby. I just know with our work travel and schedules, another kid would be too much for us.

He army crawls, quickly, every where, and has started to pull up to his knees, but not a ton of interest in standing or normal crawling. I have my eye on it, for sure, but I'm comforted that he continues to make progress. |

I am trying to get the house in order. It's taken me 2.5 hours to unpack (still have MH's suitcase left), do a load and a half of laundry, and get the mudroom almost all picked up.
My house looks like a bomb went off in it.
I still need to get some crafts done for ds's party on Saturday too.

A has been standing unassisted for about 2 weeks now. She cruises everywhere so I think she will probably take her first steps soon😳
She had playgroup this morning. All the playing and excitement wore her out. She took a 3hr nap when we got home and then a 2 1/2 nap this afternoon. Hopefully she doesn't wake up super early tomorrow because of it.

I decided to give a pouch because another mom in here was giving their baby a pouch. Dd downed that sucked and screamed for another one!
