Unpacking... not so much 😂 I am actually pretty good at packing and purging. I think it’s more that I don’t have enough boxes yet, I don’t have an exact moving date (it’s a long story) and the baby is underfoot which is making it annoying. I can try and pack all the non essentials but I have no idea when I can pack the rest. Lol We also just moved 2 1/2 years ago and I purged sooo much then.

I would love to come help you pack marygracerich. I’ve actually contemplated packing up each room in my house to see what we actually need/miss.

The baby has learned to climb the stairwell. I was not ready for that.

What’s everyone doing fun this weekend? We’re celebrating my grandmas birthday and going to a baseball game if the weather cooperates. Otherwise just house projects.

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone! I am so ready for 3 days off. We are spending the weekend at my parent's house and it will involve lots of eating, drinking, and swimming. I'm excited! DS is soooo busy now that he is walking. I don't know how moms of more than 1 manage, haha! I feel like I am just constantly chasing him around the house keeping him out of things.

We aren’t doing anything super exciting. Tomorrow I have work in the early morning. Then MH is taking the big kid to get bloodwork done. Sunday we are headed to PA for a bbq at my bff’s house. She just had renovations done and I can’t wait to see the results.

It was supposed to be a rainy weekend here but the forecast was wrong, it was beautiful! H worked all weekend (grocery industry) so I was solo parenting but we got the sprinkler out and the girls had a blast. J had a fever yesterday and this morning but was feeling better by this afternoon and loved running through the sprinkler and splashing in the splash table. I am looking forward to getting caught up on housework and relaxing a bit between classes tomorrow!

Anyone dealing with the extreme weather. We were under a tornado warning last night. We ended up with large hail and strong winds but thankfully no tornados. It was super scary. I thought the hail was going to come through my skylight at one point. The skylight is above the baby’s crib so I scooped him up and brought him into bed with me until the storm passed. I was shaking from fear.

marygracerich, we haven't had any bad storms lately but did a few weeks ago. We are having extreme heat though. We were in the mountains for the weekend and it was in the mid 90's with "real feel" of 100. And back at home now, its still mid 90s with real feel approaching 100. It gets this hot here in the summer but usually in July or August. Makes me scared for what we are in for this summer!

marygracerich I’m further upstate from you so we didn’t get the sever storms just a bunch of rain. We had a pretty big storm Saturday night. That one scared DS1 because of all the lightening (his school got struck by lightening earlier this spring and he’s been pretty scared since).

I spent part of my morning researching the difference between PMS and PMDD. This hormonal flux spikes in my anxiety and depression is just horrid. My dr has be bump up my zoloft to try and get ahead of it but yesterday was rough. I'm not sure I'm at the severity of PMDD but man, I've never had PMS like this. It spikes twice a month, right before period and at ovulation.

That made my mood swings 1000 times worse. I was only on it because I have really bad ovulation pains and that can relieve it. It wasn’t worth it for me and I’ve been off the pill for about 10 years now.

Meanwhile in IA, marygracerich 🤣 In all seriousness, sorry about the severe weather. That sounds really scary. We've just had torrential rain and flooding here.
