My brain is failing me ATM. Are there other N16 mamas who are working out of the home and pumping still? How many times a day are you pumping? I was doing 3 times a day and just dropped down to 2 times a day like a week and half ago. I'm actually getting about the same amount with 2 pumps as I was with 3, which surprises me. ETA to say that I also have over 800 oz in the freezer still because my child doesn't take much milk from the bottle while I'm at work, so I'm not overly concerned with trying to pump a certain amount every day.

I dropped from 3x to 2x when O turned 6mo. I'm thinking of dropping to 1. My output is not great now but I still want to nurse morning and night.

Thanks, tjanca22, jubilantsquirrel, cookswithwine. I don't have much of a freezer stash at all, but I think I feel comfortable dropping to twice a day at work. I just am finding it harder and harder to fit it in. I could potentially add a pumping session on Saturday and Sunday mornings after her first feed if I want to have a little more cushion in terms of frozen milk.

I'm going to throat punch proboards/tapatalk. I've barely been able to get on today and it's driving me insane.

By 8 mos it was 2-3 a day, and then whenever I could get an extra session at home nights and weekends because my stash was crap. We kept it up until we stopped bf-ing at 18mos. I always did at least 2x per day for those 18mos.

jubilantsquirrel, Cheshie6, I've had the same problem. They posted an announcement that proboards is working on fixing the issue.

Conversation between me & MH:
Me: I think I caught H's cold. Him: Shocking. Stop rubbing your face all over him and I bet you'd stop getting sick so much. Me: I have to kiss him everywhere because he's adorable. He'll only be little for so long. Him: So it's worth it. Is that what I'm hearing? Me: I didn't say that. I said I HAVE TO. I'm pretty sure he won't let me kiss him like this when he's 16...or 6. Him: I hope not. That would be weird and oedipus like.

I'm about ready to let my dog loose in their backyard. Not that he's know what to do with a rooster if he ever caught one, but he'd chase the shit out them.

Part of it is that this kid barely takes anything from a bottle, like maybe 9 oz a day while I'm at work. I pump about 15 oz a day so I always have some left over to freeze. But I also went a little crazy with pumping while I was on maternity leave. With DS1 the pumping situation at work was shitty and my supply was gone by 5 months and we moved on to formula. I'm not against formula, I just don't want to spend the money if I don't have to. Although at this rate I'll have enough frozen BM to last through kindergarten.

I have heard that chickens are great because supposedly they help with ticks. I'm not 100% on that but it's what I heard.
ETA: my girls would hunt that effing rooster!

I spent entirely too much time trying to find the gif I wanted only to find out it doesn't exist. I tried to bribe my BIL to make me one but he refused. So you'll have to settle for this.

I may have had to outrun a rooster &/or chicken a few times. I need details. I work at a law firm in a county outside of Houston. I always say I work in the country. My office is a small house by the courthouse that has been converted to an office and is in a small historic neighborhood. On my breaks and when I need to go to the courthouse/district clerk/county clerk, I walk. There are several people in the neighborhood that own chickens &/or roosters. They....are not very nice and will chase you!

We got woken up by a rooster at like 5 am in Key West. I was like WTF is that noise!! Took me a while to realize what it was. I also saw a chicken cross the road AT a crosswalk. It was one of the funniest things I ever saw. In this area, people get chased by geese. Fuckers are mean and everywhere. That purse is so nice tgrimes!
