You donโt have to do anything with it... Uh no no. I have to help the child make the stupid fucking stupid thing. And decorate it "however you want, be creative! Squee!"ย Wine me.ย Oh I read it as they were being made AT school. Wine forthcoming.

This is probably a confession but maybe not. I donโt like to spend more than $30 on shoes for DD. She was going through a feet growing fast phase. She is 3.5 and a size 11. I spent a lot of money on M's first shoes, at the suggestion of his PT. Now he wears Target sneakers.

Why is make up a bad thing? I let DS put stuff on his face every now and again. He likes to "play mommy." No one is saying it is. But for kids it should be for fun, make believe etc. Put it on, wash it off. The concern is having our daughters think they "need" it to look beautiful. Makes sense. I just didn't know it was a thing.

I used my tinkle on DD's eyebrows last week. She's 6 and SO hairy. I shaved off her unibrow and then took off the stray hairs around her brows. There were......a lot of them. I told her I was brushing them because I didn't want her to think something was wrong with her, but damn I had to get to them before the other kids noticed them. Oh this is an idea. My 6 year old has a light unibrow, and Iโve been so conflicted. She also has ptosis and is small, so Iโm extra nervous about teasing.

My kids are 6 and 4 (almost) and I think we have gone to try on shoes for then in an actual store maybe twice in their lifetime. DH just keeps ordering similar stuff on Amazon and they are happy. They each have 2-3 pairs of shoes max. I don't even know their sizes. This is why I have 2-3 sizes of everything iny Lands End cart right now. I will order a bunch of stuff and send back what doesn't fit, so much easier. Then I don't have to pay shipping when I need a different size.

It took me 6 years to figure out how to use the timed dry feature on my dryer. I have no idea what I was doing wrong before. I just learned what permanent press means in the washer and dryer. Game changer for Joy. Ask a Clean Person is sorta my new favorite podcast.

Also, I need 9 new pairs of shoes. Or maybe like 2. I would say a normal person could get by with: One pair of tennis shoes/sneakers Neutral flats Black pumps Sandals that can go to store/beach/pool One neutral pair of boots I would say you are very wrong. Hi, I'm lizblue and I'm a shoeaholic.

DS had his BSA pine wood derby last weekend. I told DH he was in charge of it, I was doing all the GS cookie orders, pick up, sorting for the troop. My son is 6, and in KDG, so it's absolutely not something he could do on his own. Per usual, my husband waited to the last minute, and didn't do a great job. The damn car didn't even finish on the track for any of the races. DS was crestfallen and I was PISSED. The confession part is I knew that was how it would play out, and I wanted DH to learn a lesson. But now I feel like shit because I didn't expect my kid to care that much. It's a mess. And speaking of Pinterest, guess who now has a board devoted to pinewood derby cars and will be helping him next year. Hint: Not DH.

I'm checking my kid out early for no good reason today. We're members at an outdoor museum that my oldest is obsessed with (it's things like Thomas Edison's actual house & workshops and early cars/vehicles). They close from November to April. Opening Day this year is a Friday. I fully plan on him being *cough cough*sick*cough cough* that day.

I scotch taped some green paper on a Rice Chex box and let her decorate it for her damn trap. The teacher just tweeted pics of all of them and Iโm annoyed at some of them that clearly the child had no part in creating.
Thank God my kid gives zero fucks about nice looking things. She was cool with her box.

Also, no one is going to lecture me about "stealing" the tray from Target?
I'm disappointed in all of you. I was looking forward to the cleansing flames.

I also donโt think you should do it next year. You can be ready to save it if itโs going to fail again, but to just take it back on. I wouldnโt.

This is probably a confession but maybe not. I donโt like to spend more than $30 on shoes for DD. She was going through a feet growing fast phase. She is 3.5 and a size 11. MIL and my mother have both spent $$ on "quality" shoes for DD and they still wore out insanely fast. I now do cheap shoes or hand me downs. Because she will either outgrow them or destroy them so it's not worth spending the money.

It was me. I will spoiler it because it might be too early for it haha. {Spoiler} I dated a dude that went to a Quaker school and he broke up with me because I started my period during sex one time. He freaked out and said there most be something wrong with me.
Fast forward a few weeks and he calls. Said he talked to classmates and apparently that has happened to others, so he was willing to take me back now.

I love shoes. I love expensive shoes. I have too many shoes, but not enough shoes. I will not list my shoes because I will get the "I don't understand why you would pay that for shoes"

I ended up going with DH for his physical (maybe that's a confession too). Because of a family history of prostrate cancer the doctor said they needed to start screening him and would be doing a blood test and also a digital rectal exam. I stepped out for that part and when I came back in asked him what kind of device they used - if it was like an ultrasound or what. He looked at me like I was an idiot - I assumed digital meant something high tech and didn't realize it meant digits and he'd just had the doctor's fingers up his bum.

rvasc, yeah but my little boy was crying actual sad tears, you know? I love my husband. But this is his one major area of failing to me, the procrastination and half assing of this kind of thing. DS and I will work on it together. I'm good with tools and the like, dispute my bitching about Pinterest, and DS is very artistic. I'm sure we can make it something to be proud of. If you think I won't make pointed comments to my H though, you don't know me as a person.

I'm lazy about returning things. I bought a $10 pair of ear buds the other day, and they weren't the ones I thought. Rather than return them, I gave them to XH because he said he could use a pair. Lazy and generous all in one.

This might be more of an UO, but I hate when people say, "I text my brother and..." It's texted. You wouldn't say "I call my brother and..." I can't make myself say texted. I say I sent a text to. Texted sounds weird.

Also, no one is going to lecture me about "stealing" the tray from Target? I'm disappointed in all of you. I was looking forward to the cleansing flames. At first I was like...that's messed up. Then I remembered I did something similar. I mean it was probably cleaner after you washed it then it was in the store with people touching it.
