So there were two accusations. Apparently as soon as something like this involving a kid is reported, the state opens an investigation, and then a criminal investigation also begins. The state concluded that both accusations were unsubstantiated. And the police concluded one case with no conviction (not guilty) and the other hasn’t been closed yet.
So in general that’s “good” news, but a shitty situation all around. The teacher is likely innocent and likely to never teach again, and the two accusers (who are friends) were likely hurt by someone else in their life.
So there we go.

That's so sad :-( my friend was a teacher that had her life ruined by false accusations of sexual misconduct. It is a losing situation all around. I'm glad there was at least a resolution.

helloerrbody I'm sorry this is so late but I'm so sorry for your loss. 💔 I hope you have found some peace and are physically doing okay. So many hugs from my girls and I ❤️ how did Cs surgery go? bassa I just recently heard about that. That's so awful. Either way it plants a seed of doubt which is so scary. And we round out birthdays next Thurs when Liv turns 1! I can hardly believe it. She's a walking machine.

I think it’s safe to say T is consistently sleeping through the night now that’s it’s been a few weeks 🙌🏻 we moved our 2.5 to a “big girl bed” last night and took the side off her crib. She did awesome. I am pretty sure I work myself up more than I should sometimes, but all went smoothly. It was such a good thing when we moved DD1 to the big girl bed. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to 2 for big girl beds and potty training.

C’s surgery went great! Dr said he had crazy thick fluid in both ears (almost like jello) and adenoids were blocking 65% of his sinuses. I’m sooo glad we did it. He was super fussy yesterday but incredibly happy today.

So glad it went well helloerrbody. What made them decide to take his adenoids out? We’re on our 2nd sinus infection in less than a month.

I know I've complained about this before, but my J18 kid is so freaking destructive. I basically follow her around the house cleaning up her trail as she goes. I'm exhausted lol. And it's blizzarding again - I cannot WAIT for spring so my kids can run some energy out outside!!

I Am in bed but got up at 5:30 with the kids. I hope that this phase passes bc I am tired. I really want Mac and cheese, to bad it’s too early or I would totally have H pick me some up from Panera. I guess I’ll get up and eat (again)before this headache turns into something evil.

We’re supposed to get crazy winds today so that will be fun. We’re also gutting the baby’s room and scrubbing everything to hopefully see if this helps him get better.

Little man decided that partying from 11:30pm- 1:20am was a good idea. I disagree but he persisted. I am very tired.

There’s some sort of stomach bug going through my whole extended family. Thankfully my husband and I have been fine but the baby is constantly vomiting and pooping. So.much.laundry. Thankfully he’s his happy normal self in between. Wants to cuddle more, but that’s it.
He’s had an ear infection that keeps switching ears since the beginning of January. He’s on his 4th antibiotic and there’s a referral in to an ear, nose and throat doctor just in case. So we have another doctor’s appointment about that today and will hopefully find out more about this stomach bug at the same time. He hasn’t been able to get his one year vaccines yet because of all the sickness.
But thank goodness for a happy baby. I’d never know he was sick based off the way he acts.

All schools and the university are shut down today. I haven’t been out but I guess because of blowing snow? The provincial police have actually closed all the roads in the county around us. City police haven’t said anything about the roads in town though.

Ear tubes were the best thing that ever happened to our family. Although surgery is not fun to think about I'd really suggest going to the ENT. The surgery legit took less than 10 minutes.

It's the reason that I lock us both in the play room for most of the weekend and I just let it be until the end of the day. She's like a little cyclone.

jessijean wait times in Canada are a bit longer so I’m not sure when we will get into the ENT. He was referred last week. I’m definitely open to tubes is the ENT recommends it. I’ve only heard good things from people who have had their kids get them.

Last night was our first night in the crib and instead of waking up at her normal 5:30 J woke up at 4.
Send coffee.

I need coffee too.
My dear H accidentally gave the baby children’s ibuprofen instead of infants ibuprofen. I didn’t realize it until 3 1/2 hours after it happened. He was up crying for a little while. It may have been a tummy ache. I contacted poison control. They said don’t go to the emergency room unless symptoms occur like vomiting. He didn’t really have symptoms besides some crying but that could have been from teething and/or the cold he has. He is totally fine now but I didn’t sleep much. I spent part of the night holding him so he can sleep.

To celebrate my birthday yesterday both sons decided they needed to try to sleep in bed with us. A queen bed is NOT big enough for 2 adults and 2 toddlers. I tried to make the most of it realizing they won't want to cuddle forever.
