Congrats Mr grumpycat! I think that is the perfect single story to sum up your MIL laurensc927. When she first met you she asked if she could move in when she was old, you politely said of course, and now that's what she'll remind you until the end of time. Glad you are able to take time to help your DH and FIL, I'm sure it means a lot to both of them! I think you are right!

Hi all. Not much going on here. Just trying to make it through the days really. I'm sorry for everyone that is sick or dealing with kid sickness or ridiculously cold weather. We had some ice yesterday but it seems to be warming up a bit here. Kids are doing ok. I think all of L's first molars are in so we have a bit of a reprieve there. Things were rough for awhile there. I haven't tried utensils too much with L but he seems to want mine when we eat so I probably should. molars already?! I should remember when because DD is only 3, but molars still seem always away for DS! They are so tough, so I’m glad it’s behind you! E got all 4 molars at the same time around her birthday. It was rough!

C is definitely going through a leap or something. He is finally saying “momma” and even “nana” with intention. Then tonight he dropped his sippy cup behind the dresser so I got him down, moved the dresser, and before I could go back there myself he walked behind it and picked up his cup. Then he walked right over to his laundry hamper, picked up a shirt that was laying on the floor, and threw it in the hamper with his sippy hanging out of his mouth. It was so cute and probably not super mind blowing to some, but I just felt like he was so smart in that moment! Also he’s just been so full of piss and vinegar lately. It’s fun!

C still only has five and half teeth. Teething slacker over here. E had all 16 teeth by the time she closed out 15 months old.

It’s so fun watching them develop those habits! N has started taking his bowl when i get him out of his high chair, he carries his bowl to the counter. He loves putting his diapers in the garbage and putting his clothes in the basket. Now if only he could teach his older siblings the same 😉

I've been loving stuff like this lately. Henry dropped something in the kitchen, I made him come back pick it up and put it back in the drawer. It blew my mind how much he understands and then I wondered what else I should have him doing lol.

Has anyone introduced a blanket yet? Ds2 doesn't have one yet but ds1 had one by 15 months. Just one of those fleecy toddler size blankets. Ds2 has like three stuffed animals and wears a wearable blanket.

He does pick it up to carry with him when he wakes up though which is adorable.

I'm starting to see little glimmers in AJ as well. Like he loves to go through the laundry basket and take out his jammies and pretend to put them on lol

I’m bummed that my blueberry grab bag had the same print twice. Now to decide whether to sell it or just have 2. 😒

Has anyone introduced a blanket yet? We use a muslin blanket with E. But we didn’t start until after he was 1.

6 teeth for the past couple months now. I really thought she was working on another two last month, but nothing yet.
I've been thinking about getting DD a blanket because when she was sick DH kept putting her down to nap in our bed and she loved cuddling up with the duvet. Right now she just has a sleep sac and sometimes a muslin blanket for naps if she's not dressed very warmly.

Congrats Mr. grumpycat! Glad C is feeling better, cnf Dear N: When I keep telling you to chew your food, I didn’t realize I also needed to tell you to swallow all of it, especially at dinner (right before bed). You do not need to hoard food in your cheeks. You are not a hamster. Love, Mom

As far as I can tell N only has 7 teeth, but he hates letting me check his mouth - I swear he was teething a few weeks ago but 🤷♀️

DD2 has hair but we’re on maybe tooth #6. And the 2 year old is starting to get her molars. So that’s fun.

Has anyone introduced a blanket yet? Yes. Both my kids have slept with one from and early age because I'm bad a rules. Cora sis obsessed with hers and when she wasn't feeling good this week she would cry for "blanky" and "wubby"
