What do you do if you can't get a splinter out of your kid's hand? Do they need to go to the doctor to get it removed? Mh and I both tried for a while and could not get it out. Does it look infected? I just wait for it to work its way out unless they're in a ton of pain.

Jack in the Box gave a bunch of people ecoli in the 90s. Ecoli is also present in feces. The poop part I got, thanks for the JITB info. Can you confirm, Jesslfar? It's the reason no one where I grew up eats at JITB.

I poured all my booze out because I'm trying to lose weight. I lost some, but I'm having regrets. I could use a good buzz this evening. Sigh.. Poured. It. Out?

I think it was an episode of SVU. And it also had to do with anti-vaxxers. Do you mean the lollipop parties where kids pass around suckers sucked on by a kid with chickenpox? That sounds like sumshit my parents generation did. I know my mum setup play dates with chicken pox kids so I'd get it.

I read somewhere that a paste of baking soda will pull it toward the surface so you could get a better grip. Worth a shot maybe?

iPhone really shit the bed with this ridiculous headphone port being the same as the charger. The struggle is real when your phone is dying and you can't listen to music anymore.

I see we are talking beaver fever. That sounds horrible. FIL gets it, Ecoli and Cdif about once a year. All around DNW. How is he exposed? He has a compromised immune system. The giardia is most likely picked up by his fishing habit and she ecoli I guess is just in our environment and if you have a normal immune system you don't pick up. The c diff he gets from the multiple courses of antibiotics needed to kill off the others. That is what my understanding is. He gets everything. Poor guy has had Bells Palsey for a year.

heybulldog Its been awhile but I think I stopped at 3 1/2 months and she started rolling over to her stomach at 4 months. I wouldn't use it that close to the rolling over age.

Lots of people wouldn't eat it for years. To be fair in the last few years Jimmy John's sprouts gave my BIL ecoli and tons of other companies had that issue. I think Jack just killed more people with bad ecoli burgers combined is why we remember that.

It's a slow chronic form of leukemia.

It's a slow chronic form of leukemia. Oh man, that is rough. At least CLL *usually* develops slowly and usually doesn't develop into something worse like ALL. We diagnose leukemia and lymphoma in my lab so that is one of the few types of cancer I am familiar with!

Thanks guys. MH read something about putting glue on it but that didn't help. I just saw it tonight so I'm not sure how long she has had it. It's not red or anything so I'll keep an eye on it.

My BFF just called to let me know he is two hours out from my house. He's been in California for a year so Im pretty stoked to see him!
But now I have to get my house in order because I have been neglecting it pretty hard for the last few days.

Discussions were had, boundaries put in place, talked to my H when it all happened, so I feel okay about it.

We diagnose leukemia and lymphoma in my lab so that is one of the few types of cancer I am familiar with! His labs have mostly stayed fine. They are slowing going up. He goes to MD Andersson once a year and they run everything , mostly he is in a wait to treat stage because it hadn't progressed. Bad thing for him is he can't shake stuff.

In case you aren't in any of the other threads, will anyone tell me if the "new" button is obnoxiously large? I'm trying to make it easy for fat fingers without being annoying.

Possibly. Some of streams and oceans seem nasty he surfs in and fishes seem rough.
