greykitty to add to your point, even before the 2016 election, all the attempts to gut, repeal, chip away at the ACA did not help. Private insurance companies raised premiums under the guise of “uncertainty” that didn’t have to be there if the program would have been given time to mature.

I very much regret my primary vote for him. 2016 primary Bernie was a different man than we know today. I mean, same man, but we didn’t really KNOW him like we do now. some of us did...

I’m not against Senator Harris’ truancy policy. I think in a perfect world, it wouldn’t have been needed because social services would have been in place, but it’s not. Her policy was data driven and targets the population that needed to stay in school the most. Yes, it is tough but intervention is needed and typically the charges were dropped once the charged got into the social programs they needed. Yes. The goal was to REDUCE the number of people in jail, not increase it. As she always says, the criminal justice system is there to protect the vulnerable.

If this is her, Amy needs an indoor back-up plan because the weather is jacked around here. I have a museum she can use...

Also, I think that has to be something like a campaign event. You don't just apply for an event OUTSIDE IN MN IN FEBRUARY less than 2 weeks out and then move the date for a 1,000 people for something in less it's a big deal. I am now FB stalking my former co-worker who has worked for Klobuchar and others is friends with that lady.

I mean I’m from CA so completely unqualified to give advice on the weather but I say if you can swing it, go. Going to Senator Harris’ rally was one of my top life moments. Just go early.

I think that given a fair election, Stacey Abrams has an excellent chance of flipping a Senate seat, especially if people are mad about the governor's race and show up to redeem it. She would have won had it not been for Brian Kemp and the shady shit he pulled so I think another statewide race could go in her favor. And how awesome to flip a Georgia seat!
Ready excited about Amy Klobuchar. I think she is a great candidate because she has a great temperament, can work with people, and has progressive positions.

she definitely won’t recover from this. It’s too bad because I like a lot of her policies, but this will be the focus.
