It's hitting me too! Yikes. I have just under 12 weeks left and the holiday season means no baby stuff gets done... it's going to fly by!

I'm trying not to panic about how little time we have left until A arrives. Just focusing on how much I can't wait to meet her!
Also, I always forget how much people freak out when it finally gets winter cold here. Like, most of the time it's dry and not wet at all and people still act like they can't drive their normal sedan. Idk. People are weird Lol

Those of you with 3...how are you arranging the car seats? I am totally overthinking this.

Those of you with 3...how are you arranging the car seats? I am totally overthinking this. Not 3 yet but we've attempted to put the 3 seats we will need in the cars. I drive a minivan, so it's a bit easier. ds1 will be all the way in the back, ds2 (rf in an convertible) behind the passenger and ds3 will be in the infant seat behind the driver. DH's car will be a tight fit. We are trying for ds1 in the middle (he's still harnessed), with ds2 behind the driver (extend2fit cna be fairly upright), AMD inslfant seat behind passenger. But I need to go through the manuals to see about how close they can be.

k, In the Traverse: A will be behind the drivers seat, DS2 behind the passenger seat (although these may switch), and DS1 will be in the third row since he can undo his own buckles. In the Altima: A behind passenger seat, DS1 in the middle (because again, he can get in and out of his seat unassisted), and DS2 behind driver. The only downside to the Altima is that we will be turning DS2 around before I wanted to in order for everything to fit securely.

There was a feature on the radio last week about sparkling wine, and they had an expert talking about all of the flavors and etc in great detail...I’ve never been so thirsty in my life.

I haven’t even thought about what to bring to the hospital! I better get thinking the baby is due in 9 weeks!! 😳 I did my first GD finger prick today and my number was normal so I’m trying to be optimistic!

k I have a minivan and plan to put baby behind me, move DS2 to the other far side, and DS1 in the middle. If he and DS2 can't keep their hands off each other I'll move him to the back seat, but tightening his seat will be obnoxious that way. He's in a Diono so I'm hoping that between two Chiccos will fit.

strawberrykiki glad the testing went well! I have mine back under control so I'm grateful. Holidays are hard when carb amounts aren't on homemade recipes! I'm unreasonably annoyed tonight. We got our holiday pics back and they SUCK. As in I can't even believe she gave us some of them because they're so awful. Threw that money away and have no clue what I'm going to do about holiday cards now. It's already late to be ordering as it is! Also DH now has my cold and I'm unreasonably annoyed at any complaining whatsoever because he can take Nyquil and Dayquil and isn't pregnant with associated fatigue and symptoms on top of said cold. Grr. Least sympathetic wife ever but really, choose your audience honey. Pity party for one over here.

strawberrykiki that's good news! hrh ugh I'm so sorry. Photo shop?! I'm not sure why but I always struggle to have compassion for DH when he's whiny about being sick...I think some guys are just really annoying patients? I hope you both feel better soon!

hrh, I'm horribly unsympathetic when H is sick. Like, so bad. He has to look like death before I give him any room to complain without me rolling my eyes. Which is completely unfair because I'm such a baby when I'm sick Lol I'll do whatever I need to, but I'll complain the whole time (especially when preggo). He's told me on more than one occasion that he thinks I'm being very unloving and doesn't understand how I'll baby everyone but him when people are sick. I just tell him it's because he told me he never gets sick and that's why I married him. Lol Also, get your money back from the photographer. If you don't like your images, most reputable photographers will at least refund part of the money. I didn't even bother with Christmas cards this year, TBH. But I probably would've just taken some on my own or had my dad snap a few with my phone because #lazy.

Thanks sunshiney and thelittleredm - I am trying photoshop! Normally I would complain, but the way this photo session works is they book for one weekend only and donate all proceeds to a local medical charity. So it wouldn't be appropriate to ask for a refund, but I will seriously debate whether I do it next year as at least ONE good photo should come out of it! The girl who started it is a good photographer, we ended up having the backup photographer that she brought in when the event started getting bigger than she could handle alone. To be fair, DS2 is AWFUL for pics but if you're seeing what she saw through her lens, she needed to stop and change it up! Oy. thelittleredm I'm much the same. If I'm without meds doing dishes and laundry and not going to bed early, I expect the same from you. I also rock the martyr syndrome though so poor DH. hehe.

Re: sick husbands...MH started coughing the day before thanksgiving and acting like he was on the verge of death. I gave him a bit of crap, because “OMG you JUST started coughing today, and I’ve been sick so many times while pregnant, including with pneumonia, and I still managed to parent, work, and be a functional human being, and it’s thanksgiving and I have no time for this, so get it together.” Or something like that.
Yeah...he spiked a fever the next night, and it just so happens that it was his turn to have pneumonia. 😬 Oops.

hrh, Ah, that is a situation. FX that your photoshopping works Lol Otherwise, I'd maybe contact the lead photographer and tell her that you don't want your money back for the session because it went to a good cause but maybe see if she'll do a 30min mini session? Idk. Tough spot.

hrh that is BS about the photos. You shouldn’t be the one to have to photoshop them; that’s the photographer’s job IMO. Even if not to get money back, it mighy be worth saying something. Maybe they can give you a mini re-do shoot like thelittleredm said. I can’t stand when MH is sick. Like I honestly don’t care. I am very much a grin and bear it kind of person and I never complain when I’m sick so I have no sympathy for he who likes to describe his every last symptom to me in minute detail. Especially because (like PP have mentioned) he can take whatever meds he wants. I’m coming up on 5 years of being either pregnant or breastfeeding or both so I have suffered through a lot of shitty symptoms without meds and LSS I just don’t want to hear him whine ever!

I got a ton of work done on the kids’ rooms today! DD is moving out of the nursery and into DS’s room, and Friday night will be her first night in there with him.
The nursery closet is cleaned out; the baby toys are sorted; DS’s drawers are all organized; his and DD’s hangy stuff is all hung up in their closet; crib sheets, toddler bed sheets, pack and play sheets, and changing pad covers are sorted into bins; each of their oversized stuff is sorted into bins; and all of DS’s too-small clothing is packed up for storage.
Left to do: put all of DD’s too-small clothing into a storage bin (it’s currently just sitting in a big mountain near her crib), move her clothes into the dresser in the other room, clean and disinfect the nursery, and then...move all the newborn clothes, blankets, and burp cloths into the nursery 😱
I also need to go through the playroom, pull out all the tiny toys/choking hazards, and move those upstairs to the big kids’ room. But that one I’m cutting myself some slack on because even if it doesn’t get done before baby arrives, I still have several months until the LO is mobile and putting things in his/her mouth.

Lol let’s just say I earned my nap today! I’m feeling good—thanks for asking! I’m seeing my high risk OB once more next week but my blood calcium levels have been looking good and my blood pressure is controlled so they actually think I may be able to switch back to my regular OB and deliver at my local hospital! Trying not to get my hopes up too much but either way it is a relief that things seem to be getting better as we hoped.

My baby shower is Saturday and I’m getting super excited!! It’s been so tough not buying stuff for LO but I don’t want to deal with returns if I don’t have to so I’ve been waiting to see what all we get first. Created a Target registry today just for the 15% discount too. Time to stock up on alllll the diapers soon! Almost 3/4 of the way to EDD. Feels surreal.

Those of you with 3...how are you arranging the car seats? I am totally overthinking this. I am also trying to figure this out. My oldest can buckle/unbuckle herself. I have been trying to get DD2 to do it, but she refuses. Because the girls fight I would ideally have the baby in the middle, but that that sounds like a pain! I just don't know!

I'm so done with this week. How can so many awful customers come in in one week??? Do they arrange their services like this on purpose?
I'm so tired. I hurt. I want to go home. I'd say I can't wait for the weekend but I work Saturday, too :/

I had a very vivid dream that I went into labor at home and needed to pull together a hospital bag. But then things escalated quickly and I just popped the baby out nonchalantly on my kitchen floor...
We have family pics this weekend, outside and it’s going to be 30 degrees. I’m trying to figure out how keep us warm but still look good

thelittleredm I know how you feel. Work and people in general have been awful lately. I hope you get some time to relax away from work soon. Today is 2 months to my due date! I’m a little grouchy about my GD today. This is tough around the holidays. I want all the cookies and treats!! 😪

@thelittkeredm I'm sorry. Stupid customers are stupid. TashaLa wow I hope the weather looks beautiful at least and is worth braving the cold!! strawberrykiki oh so frustrating! Maybe keep a list of the treats you're missing out and look forward to having them in a few months? Or are you allowed to have, like, a bite? Or would that make it harder?
