Siggi's is 5g sugar, 5 g protein, but no plain. :/ Siggis is good! Nice and thick, not too sweet. I haven't tried the tubes yet though.

Both my kids go loco for manadarin oranges. Not cuties, but the canned kind.I think everything else I offer them has already been mentioned. They don't care about what brand of cheese I get. Right now we have Sargento. Dear lord, mine too!

What brand string cheese do your kids like? I've never bought it but I bed O would love it. All cheese. I alike the sargento b/c I believe it's more "real". S also LOVES the baby bell cheeses. All flavors. His favorite cheese right now is Horizon Cheese shapes. He goes crazy for those.

What brand string cheese do your kids like? I've never bought it but I bed O would love it. We buy the Cracker Barrel sticks. Both kids like the pepper jack. And babybel (Circle cheese, as it's called here). Atticus calls our slices square cheese, and the pieces I cut from the block of mozzarella are "stick cheese." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

guster will the kids eat a lot of nuts? Atticus goes through phases. Sometimes he is crazy about pistachios and cashews, other times he won't touch them. He's been eating sunflowers seeds and pepitas a bit lately. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sunflower seeds are a great idea. Thanks.

This is a good thread!
We always have
Yogurt (I started freezing gogurt too, but we buy Stonyfield for eating with a spoon) Raisins Goldfish Granola bars (the Quaker Chewy have less sugar than I expected - 7g - and they also like "mommy's" granola bars, which are Nature Valley) Sun Chips Apples Clementines Freeze dried fruit - strawberries are the fave, but also mango and banana Grapes Babybel - Ben loves this so much he bites through the wax Cheese sticks - we buy store brand Colby jack
They also like sliced banana sprinkled with cinnamon, which would never have occurred to me, but my mom fixed it for them once last summer and now they ask for it often.

Freeze dried fruit is an awesome suggestion. I love the strawberries, too. They're so tart.

We love snacks! Boxes of raisins or craisins (sometimes yogurt covered) Jerky sticks Crab sticks/flakes String cheese Fruit The gross bread sticks with cheese dip Bags of dried mango and apricots from Aldi Animal crackers (again I think Aldi brand are the best tasting) Individual bags of trailmix, goldfish, pretzels, cookies, muffins Yogurt
Sometimes I forget to buy meals when I shop and just come home with snacks. He has a drawer that is filled with all his option for non fridge things

Do all of your kids grab snacks themselves? For the most part, yes, she can get to most of her snacks in the pantry and the cheese in the fridge. Fresh fruit she needs help with since it needs washed and possibly cut. She will normally ask me if she can get something, although normally it's HER telling ME to get something and I tell her to get it herself.

Do all of your kids grab snacks themselves? No. M is weird and still asks before getting anything. I think she's just really lazy.

Do all of your kids grab snacks themselves? No, he'd just eat carb snacks alllllll day. I like to make sure he has a better chance of eating meals and also like to be sure he's getting protein with some snacks.

Cadence wanders around saying she's hungry until I either hand her something or I tell her to find something. Sometimes she asks and I say no, in which case she gets it anyway and hides while trying to quickly eat whatever it is.

Do all of your kids grab snacks themselves? Yes, but he brings it to me and asks before eating. The exception is if daddy already has snacks out, V will join him and much without asking our try to sneak the snacks away from him.

My kid never liked stick cheese and I've tried many varieties. Such a bummer. The only cheese he will eat willingly is Moe's queso.

Do all of your kids grab snacks themselves? He knows he can grab anything he wants from the fridge and his pouches at any time. If he wants pretzels or grahams or something he brings them to me and asks for help putting some on a bowl. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

mamabear, Josie's hunger decreases throughout the day. Her dinner portion is barely appetizer size, and Charlie is the exact opposite right now. About a month ago that was totally different for both of them, so I feel like everything goes in stages.

mamabear, yes. She is constantly telling me she is hungry, even if she just got down from the table at dinnertime having said she was full. Most of the time it is because she wants candy, but I've been trying to pump the brakes on her candy habit lately and offer her better things instead.

mamabear Dude still likes pouches. I'm milking that as long as I can because if it gives him an extra serving or two of fruits and veggies I'm all for that. Lately he does act hungry a lot and I ask him if he wants to eat because he's bored or hungry? I'll still put out some food but I emphasize we don't eat just because we're bored and I try to occupy him with something else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
