Congratulations mirabelle! When is your due date? How far along are you? 10/16, 32 weeks How big is baby? Head of lettuce-feels much bigger these days! Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? Pink Any Upcoming Appointments? Next Week Symptoms: exhaustion, heartburn, body/back aches, slight swelling at end of day Milestones:Hospital registration is completed. Feeling a little too real! Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I'm getting maternity pics done soon and almost wish I would have scheduled them a couple weeks ago. I know I will love them when it is over, but I'm not looking forward to it right now since I feel so tired all the time right now. I'm debating if I should get a bedside bassinet like an Arm's Reach or Halo since I know I will be having a RCS. I've seen a lot of people rave about their usefulness after surgery, but I've also seen people say they get very little use out of them for the money.

teambrink I used a halo for DD and will use it again for this babe. Overall I loved it, it’s very adjustable and I love how close it feels like I’m sleeping to my baby while still knowing they’re safe in their own space. It also easily swings out of the way to make it easier for me to get in and out of bed. Cons are that it has a really wide footprint (probably important for stability but still annoying), it’s incredibly heavy, and $$$. I borrowed mine for free from a friend for my first baby, gave it back to her for her to use for her second, then bought it from her for cheap to use for my second. Especially if this isn’t your last baby it may be worth it because they hold up great and the resale value is good too.

chriskoo thanks for the insight. This is the last baby and the first preferred an incline so I hesitate to spend so much, but it would be helpful with recovery and breastfeeding. I may see if someone has one I can borrow rather than buy.

When is your due date? How far along are you? 9/19 36 weeks
How big is baby? A papaya
Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? Team Green
Any Upcoming Appointments? OB yesterday. Weekly from here on out.
Symptoms: Mostly just the same stuff. Breasts a little sore at night. In addition to the physical exhaustion, I'm also mentally and emotionally exhausted this week due to nap/bedtime issues with DS. It's very unusual for him and it's frustrating me and kicking my ass.
Milestones:
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I've been in a naptime nightmare with DS for the past 6 days. Every day that he is fighting his nap and crying and being difficult, I get more and more nervous about how I'm going to survive with two. Hopefully it's just a phase and it will pass before baby comes.
OB yesterday was perfectly fine with not doing any cervical checks. I'm anxiously awaiting the results of my GBS culture....

tbirdlove sorry about nap time being a mess right now. I hope he snaps out of it and gets back to his routine. I know when DD misses naps she is crazy cranky and it takes a lot out of me!

tbirdloveDD has been extra difficult with sleep times as well. Maybe they can sense the changes about to happen or something. I don't know how she can function going to bed at midnight and up at 7:30 with little to no nap. Especially difficult when I too, am having trouble sleeping. 😬 Come on kids!

Just got back to work from my 36 week check-up. I feel like the male OBs' schedules must be so much more open because I never have to wait for appointments with them, but I have to wait frequently for my visits with the female OBs.
BP was good, baby's heartbeat sounded good, and no comment on fundal measurement so I assume it was right on track. Had the GBS swab done today and I should get the results sometime next week.
