GUISE!!! I just got a call from my grandma, she got re-scanned last week and got to see the results today. One tumor is completely GONE, everything else is significantly smaller and no new growth! I'm crying happy tears.

wedding Any thoughts on a grain-free kidney diet? Sinny has always been grain-free. According to the woman running the rescue where we adopted him, all Cornish need a grain-free diet. So we've always adhered to this for him. The two types of KD food our vet recommended aren't grain-free. I guess we could try them? I'm worried about 1.) remaining grain-free and him possibly becoming too thin OR 2.) switching to the KD that does have grain them possibly aggravating his digestive system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Honestly I think grain free is mostly BS and there are very few animals that need to be grain free. Also it is important to keep weight on him so I think switching to the regular kidney diets would be good. Did they recommend mostly wet food? That is easiest for the kidneys to process and increases fluid intake. Yes, we're definitely doing all wet food. He's been primarily wet food for a long time but we always kept some dry out in case he wanted to eat when we weren't home/overnight. I'm inclined to do what you said and not stick with grain free because IBS problems are easier to manage than kidney problems, if it's even accurate that he needs grain free anyway. Thanks for your input. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This pisses me off so much! I hate that companies boast their benefit packages to include PTO and then punish for utilizing the days. Do you at least get paid out for unused days? I get a little over 6 weeks PTO a year and it is never a factor in evals. If someone abuses sick leave then I can see it being a problem. I work my butt off, I'm taking days off when I want/need them! We can't get paid out for unused days. Eventually you stop accruing PTO once you hit 1.5 times your annual grant and HR will tell you to start taking days. Every department has about half the staff they need so it's just a nightmare. Stock price is through the roof, we keep winning major clients, but God forbid you hire anywhere near enough people to mange the new contracts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm secretly jealous of all you young'uns who can have another ( trtlcrzy , nam2013 , etc) I am already missing having a baby, and B is not even a year old. I am having all the sads about never having another baby again. +1 because the ONLY way we'd be able to handle a third is if we waited several years but I'd be past 40 by then. We are definitely done and it's sad. Hey, don't discount 40! I had both mine after 40! B was born 6 weeks before I turned 43!! You never know Yes, I am pushing babies on you. If I can't have one, everyone else should!

And being staffed appropriately so you could do so without feeling guilt would be even better.

However, I don't really want to raise any more kids, I just really want all the babies.

I was induced 4 days past my due date with M, so I'm not expecting to go early, but I'm also hoping to avoid induction this time. I wasn't able to discuss that with my doc this past week because he was out sick.

Those of you that say you're too old to have another, do you mean you physically can't or you feel like you're too old? You can tell me to fuck off if you want. I'm just curious because most people I know have kids in their 40's and everyone acted like I was so young having C at 30. I know this is largely #regional. I would just be open to having another but not for some years. Just wondering if I'm overlooking something.

I'm 3 years away from 40 and I would still have another if we had the space and the $$ to do so. I don't feel that age should necessarily be a factor in whether or not you have a child.
ETA: GOOD GOD I'M 3 YEARS AWAY FROM 40!!! ???

Cher I'm 37 and already high risk because i had part of my cervix removed. Combine that issue with my age putting me at high risk, I think I'm too old. H is only 7 months so I'm not looking to have another one right away. But if I were younger, I'd consider it when he was older.
