The wedding was so much fun, but I need a weekend to recover from my weekend!

The imaging department that is affiliated with my OB has been trying for a week now to connect with me to make an ultrasound appointment. I am getting so frustrated, I keep missing the callback and when I return the call it goes right to voicemail (by design I’m sure). Hoping to get this worked out today.

I'm still having some rough pelvic pain today. It's a bit better at least than yesterday where I could hardly walk.
I'm feeling in a bit of a funk. It's so frustrating to constantly feel unfunctioning for one reason or another. It's either been pregnancy sickness, actual sickness, pure exhaustion, some sort of pregnancy pain or generally being extremely moody, irritable and emotional. I feel like I'm always having to "take it easy" for one reason or another and I'm tired of it. And it seems like the bad days are more frequent than the good days and it's leaving me feeling pretty down.

Nymeria I need a weekend now too. I've been gone the last three or 4 weekends and I really need a break! mirabelle I hate trying to get things scheduled. It took a lot of phone tag to get our last ultrasound scheduled which was so frustrating. tbirdlove sorry you're feeling down. Hopefully things will start getting better soon!

DD (20 months old) did a trust fall belly flop off a low-ish windowsill she climbed up on yesterday while I wasn't right there with her. I didn't catch her in time, so she literally did a belly flop onto the floor. She was totally fine and thought it was really fun/funny but I'm getting stressed about how I'll keep her safe especially as I'm getting slower and bigger.

Glad she wasn’t hurt! Toddlers are so fearless. We have one window I refuse to open until we have big kids for this very reason. I also limit where I’m taking him now based on my ability to run/keep him safe. The bump really gets in the way of being able to scoop him up at will too.

Grabbed 4 pieces of baby boy fall/winter clothing from a consignment shop today. Spent $5!!! This is the first clothing we've gotten. It's so weird shopping for boy now. Though we bought a lot of clothing from the boy section for DD.
A nice quiet relaxing day since it's just me, DD and 8 month old bonus baby. I find myself being so much more calm and happy without the extra toddler. It was like I was just yelling and refereeing all day long. Much better!

MH got home from work a little early and took DS to a local car show. Yay for some quiet, alone time!

I'm so tired anymore. I don't remember being this tired with DD this far along. I don't remember having problems sleeping either. Every morning I wonder how I'm going to keep this up (not sleeping and working FT) for 15-ish more weeks.

Just said yesterday that I was still on the lookout for a nursery glider that I like on the Marketplace. Well, one popped up yesterday and I pounced. Picking it up this evening - check!!

Since i WFH in the summer we switch the boys to 3 days a week at school instead of full time. Days like today make me think that was a mistake 😣

Having a small panic attack after finding out how much full time daycare is going to cost for two kids! Almost $3000 per month, and it's not like I live in a HCOL area. Ugh...

It's so expensive! 3 days a week for 2 kids is going to push us over $2k. And that's assuming my MIL can handle watching both kids the other 2 days like she's currently offering (right now she watches DS 2 days a week).

Before we moved we were paying $2500 a month for two toddlers. We couldn't even afford a third in daycare and we also didn't live in a HCOl area. Craziness.

I finally got my ultrasound scheduled for Friday, I’m a tad anxious hoping his kidneys are less dialated, but also excited to see his overall development.

Childcare is so expensive justinbobby does preschool start at three in your area? I can put B in public preschool this fall for half days, that will cut back on our daycare costs.

So many boys!
DD has been wearing me out at dinner time. By the time I sit down to eat she is done and crying/throwing her food/trying to climb on me/etc. How do you ladies do dinner with a toddler? Most of the time dd and I eat by ourselves because my DH doesn't get home until 6:30 or later and I can't eat that late or my heart burn is horrendous.

brenna I'm on my own here for dinner (and bedtime) too every Thurs - Sat. For the most part, if I'm cooking, DS eats what we eat. Or at least some variation of it. I make his plate first, cut it up or whatever adjustments need to be made, then my own and we sit down together. He has tv time after dinner, so if he's done first and is ready to get down from his seat, he'll go and sit and watch his movie or whatever in the living room and I'll finish my dinner.

About to make our two day road trip up to PA. Fingers crossed it all goes well. I've never gone far pregnant and never driven this far wih DD. Also having some anxieties about SO being on vacation with us. Overall though, I'm excited!
