Add me to the not happy with this PP body. I’ve been trying to workout but man I’ve fallen so far strength wise. Plus I’m tired and I keep picking sleep over exercise. It’s just frustrating.
I know we have to be patient but dammit. That has never been my strong suit

Yup. I’m there too on the PP body. Like I sort of look almost normal but everything is all squishy and not right. I’ve also lost so much muscle tone and I’m wondering how long it will take to get it back.
I’ve been thinking of this for a while - would any of you be up for a thread re working out/fitness/healthy eating? I think it would be great to have the motivation and support of others!

I think that's a great idea sunshinedaisies. I'm working out a bunch but still eating like I'm pregnant so basically I'm at a standstill. But the workouts make me feel great mentally at least. +1 to hating how much strength I lost. I was using 8-10 lb weights and 12-20lb kettle bells before i got pregnant. Now I'm back to my 5lbs. And OMG planks suckkkkk now. I used to do like 3 minutes now I'm like dying at 1.

+1 on the PP body issues. I started watching my eating about two weeks ago and am so close to my pre-pregnancy weight but I need to tone up and still want to lose another 30 pounds or so. I did the elliptical and some free weights yesterday but I'm waiting to officially be cleared next week to do a more intense workout.
And I hate that it's shorts and tank top weather here because my body is not ready for those clothes yet.

I’m in for a workout / fitness check in. I’m not ready to workout, but I’m trying to walk daily and drink a ton of water. +1 to jelly in a bag and no muscle tone.

It’s borderline embarrassing how much strength I’ve lost. I’ve started up yoga again and am taking it slow. And I do squats/leg lifts while standing and nursing sometimes, but that’s it.
My diet isn’t good with breastfeeding, but I find I’m happier and more motivated in the warmer seasons so eat healthier overall. I started this pregnancy heavier so I have more to lose, but it feels in reach. Sometimes.

I'm in for a pp health check in! I am looking forward to getting to work on my fitness goals.
I'm about 3 pounds from my PP weight and maybe 8-10 from the weight I was before my last miscarriage and round of IVF. So not much. But my PP clothes don't fit at all. Goes to show you can't really focus on the number on the scale.
I go back to my OTF gym on Saturday. I am so, so excited. This last month has felt so long! I miss my gym routine.

I’ll be all up in a fitness thread when I’m cleared. I have a bridesmaids dress in my closet and I haven’t even looked at the tag because I’m afraid of the size. Please let it be too big.

Thanks so much for checking in. She was discharged from the hospital today. The second surgery went well and the nerve pain seems to be gone. Lots of surgical pain though. I'm nervous for her and my dad to be home already. It's a lot of caregiving. How's your dad? Is he home yet? Glad that she's doing good and that the second procedure worked! I hope she's able to rest and heal. My dad went home last week on Friday and has really struggled with managing his pain. I talked to him yesterday though and he seems to be doing slightly better and more mobile too. One day at a time, I think. I hope his pain levels reduce soon. Glad to hear he is moving around!

I would also participate in a fitness thread. I made a goal for myself to do a 7minute workout 6/7 days and run/gym 4/7 days. I'm at 66% and 28% success rate respectively; so definitely need to step up my game.
I lived BBM when I did it but I'm not up till committing to adding that half hour plus shower to my mornings.

I did 5.0 live when it came out and 6.0 and 5.0 was my favourite. I love that she’s struggling and jiggly and looks pp.

I’ve done the BBM before and I didn’t love it. I like that it was quick but didn’t see that much in terms of results. But I also had to quit it half way through for an IVF cycle so maybe I’m not the best judge.

Anyone have a relatively inexpensive audio monitor they like? We’re looking for one to use just for when we travel, so it doesn’t need to be anything fancy, just affordable and functional.

I was worried because she hasn’t been listening to me very well lately. I told her if she didn’t listen to me or ran off on me we would leave immediately and I wore J so I could chase after her if I needed to. It went better than I thought.

My yellow lab has diarrhea and pooped all over the downstairs part of our house. When I went to let him out, he shook, and splattered poop all over me. 😠 My whole house smells. Of course, DH is gone. Not exactly what I want to deal with. I put the dog outside and cleaned up the awful mess. I gotta get out of this house now though. Heading to the park with the kiddos despite the 4 loads of laundry needing folded and the fact that I have yet to have a shower.

I put a frozen lasagna in the oven at 4 because it has been one if those days. I went to pour a glass of water just now and the damn thing is still sitting on the counter. I didn't even put it in ffs.

Ugh I need to start going for walks. I hate how my body is at the moment and nothing fits me. I’ve been sick and had asthma so I’ve not been able to do any exercise ☹️
